"haa dude it might be too late for you" henry said as they were approaching the benches where hailey was waiting for henry.
"I know bruh and she might be mad I didn't say happy birthday or buy her gifts and tommorow I will be gone" micah groaned feeling bad.

"gurl that's a bad jokee" hailey laughed watching henry go sit next to her
"you brought ur friend?" hailey asked herny rolling her eyes
"yho the attitude ma'am!?" henry said laughing at how rude she was.
since last night since micah made her apologise to harmony when harmony started the fight.
"go buy me ofood please" hailey said with a sweet smile
"okay maam it is your birthday week" henry said and stood up.
now he left the ex couple alone. micah grew nervous wondering how to start a conversation.

"theres no tension" hailey said going back to watching the movie on her laptop

"who are you calling a bitch?" micah asked and hailey didn't show that she was scared but baybeeee she was scared. That deep voice of his made her feel things.
"if the shoe fits" she shrugged her shoulders and dipped her zinger wing into the sauce.
"keep up that attitude" he said rolling his eyes and going back on his phone
"or what" she asked suprising both men but not really henry as henry knew that she was going to come at a point of saturation. She was now treating him like shit.
but micah kept quiet and just chuckled.
"okay henry, see you. and plus im coming with Thato" hailey said and micah scrunched his face upon hearing a boys name and hailey left to go to class
"who the hell is Thato?" micah asked with a disgusted face.

henry groaned knowing that today Micah might go to jail and someone to the hospital.
it was around 2038 hours and hailey was having fun alongside Thato who was making her smile. she had arrived early and didn't want to drink.

micah then arveted his attention from hailey who was wearing her brown bikini and diverted to THATO.
in micah eyes thato was ugly.
"mxm" micah kissed his teeth and walked away to somewhere
"damn whats his deal?" thato said laughing and hailey just dragged him to the pool.
as the 2 were conversing hailey couldn't help but feel holes burning her back
"excuse me?" she said kissing thatos cheek and walked to the bathroom.
as she entered one of the main vip bedroom, she turned on the lights and immediately a hand grabbed her waist and pulled her towards it and covered her mouth preventing her from screaming.
she then turned her body around and recognised the brown eyes

"when the hell did you get a boyfriend?" he asked his eyes turning red

"that's not the point!" he said running his hands through his hair showcasing frustration
"when u brough your so called bestfriend did I ever ask you who she was? Wena dont disgust me!" she said and micah widened his eyes seeing how her voice and face changed. her voice was sweeter and higher pitched but now it was horsed and had zero love in it.

after she was done she washed her hands

now she had reached down stairs and noticed the people were less, more like just the typical friend group
"oh you back come" thato said grabbing her arm. hailey then went to sit on thatos slap and they began conversing like a happy couple. micah came back down stairs and sat close to the so called couple and next to henry who conversed with the couple time to time
"dammit" micah groaned getting sick of the 2.
"why is he giving us the stank eye?" thato asked hailey
"uhhh just ignore him" hailey said
"no I wont . does he have a problem or sum" he said and she slapped her forehead.

"and why are you defending him?" thato asked with a stank eye
"ah futseq" hailey said glaring at Thato making micah laugh
"hayi fokoff, and wena what are you laughing at?" thato asked standing up and putting hailey on the side and walking closer to micah who was sitted still laughing.
"uhm guys cops are here like can yall do this later" hailey said coming between the 2 guys but thato shoved hailey to the side really roughly and that instantly made micah stop laughing
"heee my man you dont shove my girl, ever" micah said still sitting down but radiating dominance. This was not the time to be blushing but hailey coudnt help it.
"mxm you've been staring at us the whole damn time and do we have a problem?"
"no problem just get out of my face" micah said looking over at hailey
"nxa khuluma nawe" thato said shoving micah. this angered micah so he roughly pushed thato and thato fell to the ground. micah then went over to him and began throwing pucnhs on thatos neck.
"dont ever test me ever again" micah said now repeadtly punching thato in the face, his knuckes turning red and micah blocked all of thatos punches.
now the policemen who were in the kitchen stopped raiding the friends and went outside as they heard micah and thato screaming.
"HEY HEY STOP OR ELSE WE WILL DETAIN YOU" one of the fat policeman said going towards micah and he pushed micah off of thato who was red in his own blood
the policeman then put micah in cuffs and started to drag him.
"micaahhh" hailey screamed dramatically crying.

now hailey was at the police station sitting next to a bench that faced micah who was in his cell. she was crying hysterically and couldn't help but feel uncomfortable since she was wearing her bikini and most men were looking at her.
"hailey" she heard her name being called and she lifted her head
"hailey woza" micah said and she stood up
"micah im not suppose to be talking to you?" hailey said feeling scared
"ey baby girl" a man who was also in the cell with micah cat called hailey.
"futsek" micah said scrunching his face looking at the man and the man gruffed and sat down
"here" micah said removing his hoodie and giving it to her. she kept on crying and sniffing
"princess stop crying" he said and touched her face wiping her tears. they both didn't care about how he still had fresh blood on his hands.
"why mimi, now look where you are" she said still crying and he lifted her chin and he placed a kiss on her lips
"HEY HEY HEY NO TOUCHING!!!" one of the officers said and that scared hailey and she evacuated from the cell and went back on the bench and wore the hoodie
"first you distract our men by your body now your busy gavalating in my workplace" the female policewoman said from her desk.
"hey wena thula" micah said with anger evident in his body.
"hey you dont tell me what to do" the woman said back
"I do now, shut up or dont talk to my girlfriend like that" micah said and then kissed his teeth afterwards and the lady mugged her.
it was now 6 am and hailey was woken by a light tap.
"oh hey" she said to henry
"go change" he said handing her some clothes and she was done bathing and changing 30 minutes later
"heres some coffe" henry said sitting down next to her on the bench
"where is he?" she asked
"interrogation room" henry said with clear eye bags
"so how bad is it?" she asked
"he broke 4 of thatos ribs and his nose and his arm sort of dislocated as he was pressing down on the arm" henry explained
"but the family was so desperate that we gave them money and they relocated and bought a mansion in Nigeria in less than 24 hours" henry aslo explained.
"will he get out soon?" she asked
"probably Lubanzi has connections"
"Lubanzi, the older brother?" she asked and henry nodded.
"eish I have to go home im babysitting, so I will see you" henry said and kissed her forehead.
eventually, she saw micah coming out of the certain corridor alongside a few people and a tall man who looked like the older version of Micah.
after signing out, the men came towards hailey's direction

"leave me alone" he said walking past her like she was nothing
"wait-" she said after they went outside
"dammit go away" he said more harshly
and hailey sighed heavily
"micah I need a ride" she said hoping he will listen.
" I dont have my car with me" he said
"wena micah hamba" Lubanzi said in a demanding voice
"celi 2 minutes and can I borrow your phone" micah asked and lubanzi rolled his eyes and tossed his phone
"if you aren't in the car in 5 minutes im leaving you" the brother said and walked away with the guards. micah then went on the uber app and typed in the locations and he was notfifed that a car will come in 2 minutes
" your being mean again" hailey said
"thula" he said
"haaa micah, okay keep up that attitude" she threatened
"the uber is here, you can go now, I already paid for it"
