Waaahhhh! I didn't mean for everybody to think this was the final chapter! I'm getting there, I'm getting there. I would never end this without a reunion! Humph! Humph! So, without further ado, new chapter!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lorena woke, once again, in the hospital bed. The damn thing was like a rock.

I know it's not supposed to be a luxury hotel, but damn! A softer bed never killed anyone! A hard one did...

As Lorena was complaining in her mind, the doctor came in. The doctor was an old, elderly man. He looked fragile but hid an unseen strength. With a gentle smile on his face, he walked over to her.

"Why did you take them out?"

He sat down on a chair and crossed one leg over another and leaned back. His posture was casual and yet contained an air of superiority. He looked her dead in the eyes, silently willing her to speak.

"I must have accidentally ripped them out while I was asleep. It's not weird for that to happen."

Lorena lied flawlessly and showed no change to her facial expression. The doctor looked amused but didn't say anything. He looked down at his clipboard and proceeded to ask her questions.

"It says here that you had fainted at work and had been in a coma for, let's see... three months? I'm very glad that you had decided to wake up."

The last sentence seemed to have a double meaning, but Lorena wasn't quite sure what it was. She made a note of it and continued on.

"Yes, I am glad I did too. A week later and it would have been the fifth month."

His smile grew wider and he nodded in agreement.

"Correct, and you would have been let go."

That's right. Had Lorena not woken up soon, she would have died. The maximum amount of time a patient is given in the hospital to wake up is five months. If they do not wake up in that span of time, they are given permission to 'pull the plug'.

"Well, I'm glad to see you have woken up. Now, I am going to examine your body to make sure that there are no side effects. You can stay here for a maximum of a week. Within this time I recommend you take lots of rest and drink plenty of water. If anything weird happens, feel free to tell me."

"I do have one question, however."

The old man looked up to me in question.

"Do you happen to know where Pearson Black is staying?"

His eyes dilated and his breathing stiffened, but he quickly pretended as nothing happened.

"Ah, I'm not allowed to disclose this information. Please do not ask anyone else, it would make them very troubled."

With that, he stood up and left the room. To any ordinary person, this would seem like the end. But Lorena had seen it. He had flashed four fingers.

The fourth floor. Got it.

Lorena fell back asleep and decided to look for him at night time.

When she woke up, it really was night time. Lorena got up and stretched a bit. Being in a hospital bed for a few months really stiffens one up. She saw some clothes lying on the table and knew it was from the old doctor. How did he know? There was something weird about that one.

She put on the band T-shirt and leggings. It was perfect for the job that she was going to be doing.  She walked out the door and took the stairs up to the fourth floor. By the time she got to the top, she was panting, but she found the exercise relieving.

She poked her head through the door and saw the hallway. It was nothing like the hallway downstairs, this one had nice marble floors and flowers.

What's up with this difference in treatment?!
