"Bro its so simple " I said.
"Lean forward, then to your left and swing your arms across your body" I instructed Tyshear.
We were making a tiktok and Tyshear un-coordinated ass couldn't get it.
"Ight I got it start this stupid shit" he said.
I set the phone up and pressed the timer.
"Bangin out west, slanging out west, gold metallic knife , I can shank you out west" the song played.
It finished and I grabbed the phone , we looked at the video and it turnt out pretty good.
"You actually did good" I said smiling.
"Duh I'm just cut like that" he said.
I rolled my eyes and laid down on his bed.
"Can we watch princess and the frog" Junie asked.
"Yeah J" Tyshear said.
We all got comfy in his bed as he put it on princess and the frog. I haven't been going to school lately but I've been doing my work online. Tyshear told me he ended up dropping out a few weeks back.
It was a gloomy day because it's been raining all today. I looked over and not even 15 minutes into the movie Junie was sleep. I got on my phone and started scrolling on Instagram.

I looked over and didn't see ty. I got up and went downstairs. He was on the back porch smoking a blunt. He motioned his hand for me to come here. I went outside and sat in one of the chairs.
"You want a hit" he asked pulling from the blunt.
I shook my head no. "I told you ion smoke "
"Damn you right , you owe me a story behind that too" he said.
I sighed and readjusted myself in my seat.
"One night I had went to a party and got high. Now when I say high I mean I was fucked up. It was late when I got back in the house around 2:00 in the morning. My mom was on the couch waiting for me. As soon as she seen me she started yelling and cussing me out. I remember I got mad because she was blowing my high. I told her I hate her" I said .
I felt the tears but I held them back.
"We argued that whole night and the next day she died" I got out.
It was a moment of silence. Not the awkward silence though the comforting one. He put his blunt out and came over to me. He picked me up and carried me to my room.
We laid down in my bed. His arms were wrapped around me and I felt myself falling asleep in his arms.
2 hours later
I kept hearing banging but ignored it. The banging grew louder and I woke up Tyshear.
"Ty ty" I said moving him around.
"What" he said still half sleep.
"Somebody banging on the door" I said.
His eyes shot open and he got out the bed. He went in his room and came back out with a MP5K. He walked downstairs and looked out the peephole. I heard him smack his teeth and toss the gun on the kitchen counter.
"What the fuck is you doing here" I heard him say.
"Damn I can't see my brother" I heard a female say.
"Nah you know ion do that pop up shit" he said.
"Mm must got a female over here" I heard her say.
"What the fuck you want Kaliyah " Tyshear said.
His sister Kaliyah??
"I need a place to stay for a couple days"
"Nigga what"
"My apartment is being fixed right now because all my sinks clogged" she said.
"Man aight bra when you needa come here" I heard him say.
"Tomorrow " she responded.
"Aight but look" Tyshear said.
"Nova" he called out.
I went downstairs and seen Kaliyah and Tyshear.
"You date her" she said.
"Nah we don't date" I said.
"Oh" she said.
"Yeah" I said.
"Y'all chill out , before you move in though you need to apologize " Tyshear said.
"Apologize for what" she said scrunching up her face.
"Apologize or get out my shit" he said mugging her.
"I'm sorry nova for embarrassing you and making fun of you. Real shit that wasn't cool and I was only doing that when I hung out with Kierra and Ivy" she said.
"Oh we straight" I said shrugging.
She smiled at me and looked back at Tyshear.
"I'll see y'all tomorrow" she said leaving.
Tyshear walked her to the door and closed it behind her.
"Listen it's just for a few days be cool Aight" he said pulling me in a hug.
