Aarohi had barely woken up when a loud thud echoed through the room, followed by relentless knocking on the door.
"Bhabhi! Bhai! Wake up already!" Isha's energetic voice boomed from the hallway.
Aarohi groaned, burying her face in the pillow. "Why is your sister so loud?" she mumbled sleepily.
Vihaan, still half-asleep, let out a deep sigh. "Chipkali never runs out of energy," he muttered, rolling over.
The knocking turned into banging.
"Aarohiiii! Vihaan! Open up!"
Aarohi sat up abruptly. "Okay, okay!" she yelled. She turned to Vihaan, who was still sprawled across the bed. "Get up before she breaks the door."
Vihaan cracked one eye open. "Tell her we're on our honeymoon already and can't be disturbed."
Aarohi smacked his arm. "Shut up!"
With an exaggerated groan, Vihaan finally sat up, rubbing his face. "This better be important," he grumbled as Aarohi got out of bed, quickly fixing her saree before opening the door.
Isha burst in like a hurricane, grinning from ear to ear. "Finally! You guys take forever! Hurry downstairs. Karan bhaiya has something for you!"
Aarohi blinked in confusion. "Karan? He's here?"
Isha nodded excitedly. "Yes! And he's got a surprise!"
Vihaan stretched lazily. "If this isn't about free food or money, I don't care."
Isha rolled her eyes. "Trust me, bhai, you'll care about this."
Vihaan arched an eyebrow at Aarohi before finally standing up. "Fine. Let's see what this idiot is up to now."
Karan's Grand Reveal
The moment they reached the living room, Karan was lounging on the couch like he owned the place, legs crossed, sipping chai, looking way too smug.
"Ah, there they are!" Karan smirked as he saw them. "The newlyweds who are so in love they forgot about the outside world."
Aarohi immediately turned red. "W-We did not!"
Vihaan smirked, enjoying her flustered state. "Jealous, Karan? Need a wife of your own?"
Karan gasped dramatically. "How dare you? I am happily single, thank you very much!"
Isha giggled. "For now!"
Vihaan chuckled. "Alright, spill it. What's this big surprise?"
Karan's smirk widened. He pulled out two envelopes and dramatically waved them in front of their faces. "Tada!"
Aarohi frowned. "What's that?"
Karan wiggled his eyebrows. "Your honeymoon tickets."
Aarohi froze. "WHAT?"
Vihaan, who had been leaning lazily against the wall, suddenly stood up straight. "Excuse me?"
Karan grinned. "Oh yes, my dear friends. Two first-class tickets to the Maldives, five-star resort, private villa, infinity pool, candlelight dinners on the beach... all planned perfectly for the two of you lovebirds."
Aarohi's face burned. "W-Who even said we wanted to go?"
Vihaan crossed his arms. "And who gave you the right to plan this?"
Karan smirked. "Me, of course. You're my best friend, and bhabhi is my favorite person now-so I took it upon myself to make sure you two actually act like a married couple."
Aarohi gasped. "We are acting like a married couple!"
Karan gave her a look. "Bhabhi, you and my idiot best friend sleep on opposite ends of the bed like distant cousins. I had to take action."
Vihaan chuckled. "I mean, he has a point, biwi."
Aarohi shot him a glare. "Shut. Up."
Karan clapped his hands. "Okay, lovebirds! Your flight is tonight, so start packing!"
Aarohi's eyes widened. "Tonight?!"
Karan grinned. "Yes. And before you try to argue, everything is non-refundable, so you have to go."
Vihaan smirked, leaning toward Aarohi. "Looks like we're going on a honeymoon, biwi."
Aarohi clenched her fists. "You set me up!"
Karan gasped dramatically. "Moi? Never!"
Isha giggled. "Oh, bhabhi, don't be so shy! It'll be fun! Just you and bhai... all alone... in a private villa..."
Aarohi's face turned crimson. "Isha!"
Vihaan laughed. "I like where this is going."
Aarohi turned to Karan with narrowed eyes. "What if I refuse?"
Karan grinned. "Then I'll personally tell your mother-in-law that you're too shy to go on a honeymoon, and she'll plan one for you instead-with all the aunties involved."
Aarohi froze. "You wouldn't."
Karan smirked. "Try me."
Vihaan chuckled. "Karan, remind me to increase your salary."
Karan winked. "I accept cash, credit, and extravagant gifts."
Aarohi groaned, covering her face. "This is a nightmare."
Vihaan wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "Oh, come on, biwi. It won't be that bad. Who knows? You might actually enjoy spending time with your pati dev."
She elbowed him in the ribs. "Keep dreaming."
Karan sighed dramatically. "The sexual tension is killing me."
"KARAN!"
Vihaan burst out laughing while Aarohi stomped away toward the stairs. "I need to pack before I kill someone!"
Isha giggled. "Enjoy, bhabhi!"
Vihaan shook his head, taking the tickets from Karan's hands. "Nice work, Karan. I didn't know you had it in you."
Karan smirked. "Anything for you, bro. Now, go have fun and don't come back too soon."
Vihaan chuckled, watching Aarohi disappear into their room. This is going to be interesting.
