A/N: So sorry for the delay again! I just needed a little more time to finish!
This fic hit 37k+ reads and 1.7+ votes! Thank you, guys! We probably got one chapter left until this arc is done!
Q: I have no idea what to ask again! Just say what's on your mind!

"Trying to buy time with your proclamations while you have a strategy meeting? As if I'd sit back and wait for you to finish!"
Hyoga rushed forward for a frontal attack, prepping his spear. Tsukasa rushed forward and left you to stand and defend, while Senku ran backward to get out of the spear user's sights. As the primate ran, you would hit rocks, using a mini hammer that Senku had let you borrow, in the direction of the spearman. It was to throw his focus off of the scientist. Tsukasa began to attack head-on, throwing punches and using his martial arts to avoid the weapon at all costs. All of this was to make sure that the boy's plan was being laid out with enough time.
"Eleven o'clock! Senku cried out before the primate jumped over the enemy, then picked you up by the waist to meet up with the boy.
Before Hyoga could go after the two of you, he looked down to see a pile of gunpowder at his feet. His eyes followed a trail that eventually led to the scientist himself.
"Light it!" You cried out.
Senku did just that. He lit the gunpowder, which exploded into a fury of burning light and smoke surrounding the enemy. However, with Hyoga's quick thinking, he threw his cloak up and caught it with his spear, blowing the flames away in a furious wind.
"What in hell is he?" You nervously chuckled.
Your boyfriend agreed with a concerned grin. "Seriously. Is he a monster?"
The white-haired man busted through the fires as there was an opening and was heading straight for your group in a flash.
"I can kill you with just a touch of finger tip using science!" Senku cried out, holding a finger up, as well as a confident but fearful smile. You could barely move your leg in time to defend him.
The spear man spoke as he struck the boy with a spear dead center, "A brain-dead bluff like that will only work against those primitive cavemen, Senku-kun."
The amount of force pushed onto him sent him flying backward across the riverbank. Your eyes widened as you saw the green-haired boy lying on the ground. In boiling rage, you took a step forward, ignoring your pain, and joined Tsukasa to double team against Hyoga. Hand-to-hand combat, especially with a small hammer, wasn't a strength of yours, but you did your best to keep up with the primate.
Unfortunately, despite the series of blows you've done, Hyoga had managed to separate the both of you, pushing Tsukasa off into a stagger. You had grabbed the spear before it had struck you.
"That's enough, (Y/N)-kun. It'd be a waste for someone like you to die here," the man told you.
You snapped at him, "Well, I did say I was gonna fuck you up if you touched Senku again."
"I'd like to see you try, little doe," he said with a small chuckle, then immediately flung you off the spear with a flurry of movements. The moment you had let go, he kicked you in the stomach toward Senku. The amount of pressure that Hyoga used to kick you caused you to curl up in a ball of pain and nausea. You could feel your boyfriend placing a weak hand on your back, all in an effort to calm you down.
Because of that, Tsukasa rushed in once he recovered and continued to fight Hyoga. But he, too, was caught with the spear tip pointed at him.
"Tsukasa-kun, in your current states, there's no way you can compete against me. You should've known from the very start," Hyoga started, then looked at the long-haired man as Tsukasa held the weapon away from him. "That punctured lung is, quite literally, a fatal wound."
"You're right," Tsukasa answered, swear slowly dripping down his tired face.
As he pushed him down to his knees, he asked, "Then why do you still struggle? Your death has already been decided."
"Who knows? I have no idea myself. Maybe... I just wanted to fight a little longer. Perhaps I was truly enjoying it, here in the end, in this fleeting union..." said the primate. You then felt Senku beginning to crawl toward the two of them as the conversation continued.
"I see. Well then. Unfortunately, it's about time your little fun times come to an end," Hyoga sighed as he started to spill blood through the man's neck.
Senku, with a strained tone, he blurted out, "It's over...I told you, didn't I? With my science, Hyoga, I can kill you with kill you with just a touch of my finger tip.
You looked up to see him with his pinky out. However, you noticed that his pinky was wrapped up with bandages, and two wires stuck out of the end of it. Watching Hyoga, you saw his eyes getting bigger and bigger the moment he realized what Senku had on him.
"Primitive science ain't so bad, you know. A lithium battery would've exploded when you pierced it, but sturdy manganese batteries are rock solid!" The scientist declared. "Kukuku, I enjoyed myself teaming up with you guys..."
Hyoga furiously began to pull his spear away from Tsukasa, but the primate had grabbed it tightly to make sure he didn't escape with his weapon. The moment he had let go of the spear, you got yourself up to use the mini hammer and hit a rock perfectly at his head. It stunned him for a few seconds.
"Now choke down this science preset from, Tsukasa, (Y/N), and me! This 100,000 volt stun gun!" Senku touched the man with his pinky and electrified the man.
Through his pain, the spearman asked, "How?! Where... did you get that... weapon?!"
The scientist explained, "Heh, did you forget already? Weren't you the one who so kindly provided the materials? You just take the cell phone's wound-up filament coil and simply hook it up to some batteries to make a high-voltage transformer!"
"Damn you, science!" Hyoga managed to get out before passing out.
The three of you looked at each other before you and Senku had lied down next to Tsukasa, looking up at the sky with all of its twinkling stars and its bright, crecent moon. You were able to give each other high fives before you decided that you were done. The adrenaline all of you had died down, and you had absolutely no strength to get back up.
You didn't even bother to look at the commotion that happened right after, in which the villagers had saved you from Homura. Almost all of your friends had gathered to check on you, as well as keep an eye on both Hyoga and Homura.
"Are you okay, Senku, (Y/N)?!" You heard Kinro ask.
"Yeah. I'm ten billion percent uninjured," said Senku as he sat up, revealing the batteries wrapped around his chest. "Kinro, your special 'strike' training came in handy."
"Whoa! That time when Kinro attacked him with the same force as in a real battle!" Ginro stated as he recalled the time.
The scientist looked down at you and added, "Did Hyoga do any serious damage? You saw how that training helped me, but I unfortunately can't say the same for you, slowpoke."
You sluggishly replied, "No... It happens. But I don't wanna move anymore. Where's Kohaku..? I need her to carry me again."
"Oi, you don't need her to get you. They brought stretchers over here," your boyfriend said he saw the villagers put Tsukasa on a makeshift stretcher.
"BWAHAHAHHA! Now we can finally kill this Hyoga guy, right?!" You heard Magma shouting.
Taiju intervened by placing a firm hand on the man's shoulder, "No, Magma! Killing is bad!"
"Okay, but how long are we planning to keep them tied up?" Chrome wondered with his arms crossed.
Senku replied, "Until the day we create civilization. When it's completed, Hyoga's strength won't mean shit. There can be a trial or whatever. I don't really care, I'm a scientist."
"So... we basically did it...! It's officially over...!" You happily cheered in a quiet voice.
"Yeah... we did it," he told you, a soft smile appearing on his face as he looked at you.
~~~
Hours to a few days have passed. You and Senku were taken back to the base to get treated and cleaned up with the help of your friends. Your leg was wrapped once more into a stable cast this time, and a crutch was made especially for you since you had no walking support. But because of your victory, everyone had separated to do different tasks, starting with getting the location of the broken stone statues, as well as fixing them up with glue and some leftover miracle water.
"(Y/N), you're doing much better than before!"
You, who was still practicing to move around with a crutch on dirt ground, looked up. Kohaku was standing before you with a proud smile on her face as she leaned against the walls of the cave you were resting in.
"Hey, Kohaku!" You happily greeted her. "What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to check up on you since a certain someone isn't doing that right now," the blonde replied with a disappointed sigh. "Honestly, he should check up on you every once in a while."
You chuckled. "Give him some slack. He's been getting information on the stone statues and making science projects for the better of our kingdom. I heard he made a new adhesive to temporarily close Tsukasa's wound. I'd rather he tend to others more in need than me."
"You're not wrong, but that doesn't mean he should neglect you," she stated.
"Oi, I am not neglecting her, lioness," you heard a voice come from outside the cave. Your heart rate went up the moment you saw him standing by the entrance with a wheeled device.
"Senku!" You exclaimed with a grin. He gave you a smirk before looking directly at the blonde woman before him.
"Hah! It's about time. If you didn't come any sooner, I would've taken this time to swoon her!" Kohaku confidently declared as she placed her hands on her hips.
Senku did the same before he looked down on her. "Is that so? You should've thought about that before she became mine."
"She wouldn't be yours if you continued that workaholic mentality, as Taiju states it to be," the girl lightly laughed as she headed out. "I'll see you out there, so hurry it up!"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever, lioness," the boy brushed her off as she walked away toward your other friends. He then looked back to see you smiling warmly at him. "What's with that look?"
You giggled. "I just missed you. Also, your jealousy is adorable."
"I am not jealous. I'm stepping up as your partner. Apparently, people want things more when they are already taken. Like how you're mine and mine alone, slowpoke," he said with a smirk, which got your heart racing once more.
There was no way that smile of his was gonna stop you from falling even harder for him. You replied as you looked away, "Stop. Please, you're gonna kill me. And don't say you're gonna kill me with action again."
He chuckled, "Kukuku, I will do it if you wanted to. All you need to do is say my name."
At first, you didn't think before you spoke, "Sen--wait. No, we're not doing that right now. You still have important things to do, like explaining what this thing is."
"Heh, unfortunately. As for this thing, it's a knee scooter! Now, you can get around faster while you rest your leg!" He explained to you as he rolled in a wheeled contraption before you. "I made sure the wheels were as thick as the tank's so you could get around rough terrain."
He guided you to rest your knee on the padded area of the four-wheeled scooter. You saw that it was made of thick bamboo, but there were some metal parts sticking out of it to make sure it was stable.
"This is nice. I can actually get around instead of being so useless, hehe," you chuckled as you gently rolled around him in the cave.
"You're not useless. Stop beating yourself up so much. If you're talking about our fight with Hyoga, that was not your fault," he stated firmly, placing his hand on the handles to make you stop.
You sighed as you looked into his crimson-colored eyes of his. "Sorry. It's a habit, despite how strong you think I am. But I think we got...lucky. We could've died."
"Yet, we're alive, aren't we? My life is in your hands, as yours in mine. We worked together to make sure of that. Whether it is for survival, defense, sickness, and health," Senku told you as he furrowed his eyebrows, his tone becoming serious.
You widened your (E/C) eyes, realizing that his words had more meaning to them. Adding to his words, you spoke, "And we will work together to have, to hold, for better, for worse, to love and cherish one another..."
"'Til death do us part," he finished with a small smile. He placed a hand on the back of your head, and the two of you touched foreheads. "Don't forget."
A warmth grew in your chest as you heard those words of his. You placed your hands on your darkening cheeks in a bashful way. "Hehehe, I'm too happy right now. I feel like I'm heading to cloud nine."
"I can get you there right now if you want. Remember what I told you earlier?" He smirked, then lulled in his deep voice as he playfully pulled away, "Oh wait, you said I had important things to do...what ever shall I do?"
"We can let it slide for a second, Senku," you said as you placed your hands on his shoulders, bringing him closer to you.
"Good. I was hoping you'd say that, (Y/N)," said Senku, satisfied with your decision.
His crimson-colored eyes lidded, and his hands felt their way to your waist. Your vision slowly darkened as you felt his lips on yours, gently giving you a kiss. You felt the most relaxed in a while, being all alone in a cave with him.
"Well, here I was wondering what was taking Senku-chan and (Y/N)-chan so long to come out so I could give news... but I guess I know why now~"
You quickly pushed Senku off of you when you heard that devilish voice speaking. And speaking of the devil, it was Gen. You were mortified.
"Gen!" You squeaked out.
"Ah. Well, there goes my break. Back to work, I go, then," Senku droned as he stuck a pinky in his ear.
"Hey, hey, don't leave just yet~! I'm glad you're taking my advice by spending time with your dear (Y/N)-chan when she needs it most~!" The mentalist chuckled heartily as he started slapping your boyfriend's back. "When Chrome-chan told me that you guys kissed before I entered the miracle cave days ago, I couldn't believe it!"
"I'm gonna kill him," you muttered to yourself as you clenched your fist in annoyance.
Senku placed a hand on your shoulder to calm you, then spoke, "Anyways, what's this news that we needed to hear?"
Gen looked over to you with a small smile, causing you to look confused.
"We found all the pieces to your master, Haru-chan's mother. I think a reunion is well needed for the both of you," the man said.
"What?!"
-To be Continued-
A/N: I'm gonna be real with all of you. This is the one chapter I am not satisfied with. Pacing is not exactly how I wanted, but only because I'm making enough material for the last chapter!
But nonetheless, I hope you enjoyed your little moment with Senku!
