saturn sat in her room getting ready. it was her birthday today and javon was taking her out for lunch. she was nervous like any other time.
no one was there to calm her nerves. surprisingly her mom wasn't home when she woke up. although she left some pancakes and a gift downstairs for her.
saturn sat at her vanity putting mascara on. she decided against doing a lot of makeup since javon loved her beauty marks.
she learned to love them because of his praising. she smiled at thinking of all the times he complimented her. the doorbell rang alerting her he was here.
she got up immediately grabbing her tote bag. it already had everything she needed.
saturn quickly placed a kiss on her cats head and rushed downstairs. she stood in front of the door catching her breath from the rushing.
saturn looked in the mirror once more before opening the door. javon stood in front of her.
he was wearing a suit? forget about that he was holding a big bouquet and a gift bag in his hand
"am i under dressed?"
"no beautiful you look amazing" javon leaned in kissing her softly. "happy birthday" saturn smiled blushing "thank you, do you want to come in?"
javon nodded smiling. saturn open the door wider for him to walk in. "you could open your gift later if you want to" "are you sure i could open it now?"
javon checked his watch giselle told him to have saturn out of the house before 1:15 it was 12:34.
"it's okay we have a reservation" saturn nodded smiling. "where are we going?"
"to a restaurant at laguna beach" saturn gasped. javon smiled closing the door for her.
"i love laguna beach" "i know and i made sure they have chocolate strawberry pancakes at the restaurant" "really!?"
javon hummed in response opening the passenger door. saturn smiled wide.
the drive was comforting silence. mostly because saturn couldn't stop staring at javon.
she's never seen him in a suit. well in person at least. saturn thought he looked so attractive.
his hair styled the way she always liked it. as if he did it on purpose because she complimented it.
"you make me nervous" "i'm sorry you're right and i don't wanna die" "what do you mean!?"
"what if you crash we'll die" "wait saturn don't say that" "it's true!" javon smiled rolling his eyes.
"i'm an amazing driver" saturn stood silent. she gave him a side eye. "didn't you fail twice?"
"i was nervous!" "okay be quiet and keep your eyes on the road maybe? i don't wanna have a happy death day" "isn't that a movie" "yes"
"maybe we should've watched that instead"
saturn's jaw dropped. "i'm joking!" "i hope you swerve off a cliff" "saturn!" "i'm joking" saturn mimicked him laughing.
"you're the reason i'd go insane" "i dunno man i think your obsession with me will be the reason"

saturn stood outside blind folded and concerned as to why she was blindfolded. she didn't even know if she was actually at her house. maybe javon kidnapped her. "i'm scared" "i'm not killing you"
"okay good" saturn smiled allowing him to walk her toward the door. "not yet at least" saturn froze "javon!" "i'm just kidding" javon chuckled.
"i'm scared" "saturn we'll never get there if you don't walk what if it's lana?" "let's go"
javon rolled his eyes smiling. after five minutes of walking toward the house they got inside.
"i hope i see benjamin wadsworth" saturn mumbled taking her mask off. javon laughed at her before he realized what she said "wait what!?"
"happy birthday!" giselle yelled hugging saturn. she gasped looking around "oh my gosh it's so pink everywhere" "do you like it?"
"yes i love it thank you gigi" saturn smiled bringing gigi into another hug. javon stood off to the side.
his heart was racing watching her interact with everyone. the boys he didn't know. any of them could be that boy carter. he didn't know who.
he walked around the house for a moment. he knew jaden was there so he went to find him. after a while he found him outside with liliana and mason.
"why're you in a suit?" liliana laughed her hand interlocked with jaden's. "i took saturn to eat breakfast at a fancy restaurant"
"aww that's cute! jaden take notes from your brother" "i took you to canes an hour ago?" "you're right nevermind then" liliana kissed him.
javon rolled his eyes. "you two disgust me" "you're such a debby downer" javon glared at liliana.
"i'm gonna rip your galaxy cat shirt into shreds" liliana gasped dramatically looking at jaden. he looked up at her immediately pretending like he was offended as well. "shame on you javon!"
javon rolled his eyes again. the things he did for liliana. she smiled in approval at jaden. "he's like your little minion" "jaden control your brother"
"leave her alone wanna" javons head snapped to his brother. he was holding back a laugh and braiding a piece of liliana's hair. she was sat on his lap.
"i'm never buying you food again" "i'm his sugar mama what do you mean" "oh my god you are disgusting" javon groaned annoyed.
he looked around for saturn. he smiled when he spotted her standing alone.
immediately javon stood up making his way over. saturn looked up but not at javon. carter stood in front of her. javon froze in his spot. he frowned.
he watched as they hugged. he watched carter spin her around like javon would. he watched him place his hands around her waist. he watched because that was all he could do. saturn looked happy.
her hands wrapped around his neck. he paid attention to how carter caressed her back. it pissed him off. he knew saturn didn't like that.
it sent shivers down her spine and made her uncomfortable. carter wouldn't know that.
or maybe she lied to javon. he didn't know how to feel or what to think. he was still frozen in his spot. finally he pulled away from saturn.
she didn't pull her eyes away from him once. carter smiled at her passing her a bouquet of flowers. she hated red roses. they were so overrated.
javon rolled his eyes. he walked back over to his seat next to liliana and jaden. he didn't really want to be there now. only because of carter.
he wanted to be everywhere saturn was all the time. he really was finally realizing it wasn't just a crush. he is inlove with her.
after about twenty minutes saturn walked over. javon immediately smiled. it wasn't forced at all. "hey wanna talk?" javon nodded standing up.
saturn put her hand in his leading him inside. the two walked upstairs to her room.
he was slightly confused and scared. what did she want to talk about? javon walked in first. he sat on her bed.
saturn closed the door behind her then sat with him. it was quiet for a moment. "there's so many people outside i just wanted to be alone for a moment"
"oh..do you want me to go?" saturn laughed shaking her head. "no.. i wanna be alone but like alone with you does that make sense?" javon smiled softly.
"anything you do makes sense to me" "what if i talk gibberish" "i'd learn gibberish" saturn smiled. "i'm
happy you're here with me. on my birthday"
"i'm more than happy to be here with you" javon spoke softly. he caressed her cheek. saturn leaned in for a kiss. "saturn your grandmother is here"
she groaned leaning her head on javon's shoulder. he laughed placing a kiss on her head.
"i'll kiss you after i owe you eighteen kisses" "woah that's a lot of kisses man" "i know but i've already kissed you many times today so it counts"
"i miss the minicows" "we'll see them soon go say hi to your family now" saturn groaned walking down the hallway "i don't wanna" "too bad"
