In the Imperial Palace, Fang Li was eating his dinner with a frown on his face.
It has been around two months since he woke up in this strange world.
At first, It was hard to adapt to his new life. If it could be called that way.
Fang Li looked at the black rabbit with a tuxedo and monocle and felt helpless.
This rabbit was the supposed system that had explained him his current situation.
It turns out that he was dead. But he had entered the quick transmigrating system. That, in the words of the rabbit, consists of jumping between worlds completing missions. And after that he is done with a certain amount he would have a special reward.
What was the reward? He had no idea. And the rabbit wouldn't tell him.
But that was not all. Besides having to finish troublesome quests, apparently, some fool system made a mistake and now the situation in this world was kinda messy.
The setting in this world was an ABO world. Where there are three different genders. Alpha, Beta and Omega.
And it turns out his an omega.
The only idea that he could get pregnant make his shiver.
But leaving that aside, the main story of this world was also different from what it was supposed to be. Or at least that was the system, the self called 007,said.
The original setting was that he would transmigrated to a commoner body in another kingdom.
Then he was supposed to find a supposed power warrior. Since, apparently, this world was about to ignite Armageddon.
The kingdom that he is currently in, is the major force of the three countries that exists on this continent.
In the original setting the imperial prince, his aka older brother, was going to get married to some princess from the kingdom on their left. Then the commoner, who lived on the kingdom of the right, would find a power warrior and be on good terms with the royal family of that kingdom. Then with the force of the three kingdoms joined would defeat the incoming threat.
What was the incoming threat? Sorry 007 didn't said.
But now everything is messed up. The setting was nothing, by far, like it was supposed to.
The imperial prince was missing, the kingdom on the left was angry, the warrior was nowhere to be found, and who know what the commoner was doing.
And now, 007 says that his mission is to prevent the world from ending.
How was he supposed to do that?
Fang Li only sighs. He has a lot of work to do.
The past two months he had completed one side quest that was to improve his relationship with his father (The Emperor).
It wasn't easy, the emperor, even if he had love for his children, was too busy to paid any attention to them, so their relationship was very lacking. But thanks to his efforts for the past two months now he could have dinner with him.
Looking at the man that was eating on the other side of the table, even a straight male, had to admit that he was handsome.
He was tall as a mountain. Even if there were beast men that were bigger than humans, if someone told him that the emperor was actually a giant, he would believe it. Beside his height, he had a wide shoulder. His face was sturdy as stone with a perfect greynish beard on his strong jaw. The alps had some phoenix eyes, with the color of the obsidian. His face didn't reflect any emotions, but the bags under his eyes said that he was very tired.
After all, being an Emperor wasn't an easy job. Fang Li didn't understand why so many people would fight for the throne. You could govern all? Sorry too much, he couldn't even take care of himself, less a whole country.
He could be rich? Please, almost all the money in the treasury was the national budget, you could hardly touch it yourself. (At least that you would be a bad king.)
He prefers to be a quite prince, free of responsibility, at with all the commodities without the trouble.
Looking at his youngest son was spacing out and with a frown on his face, the emperor started a conversation. "Any news on the whereabouts of your brother.?"
Fang Li shook his head. "Any progress with the progress with the princess?"
The emperor was about to answer when one servant entered the room with a horrible face.
"Will, something you have to say?"
The man who entered was an old butler. His name was William, but everyone called him Will. He was the main servant of his father since he set up the throne. Fun fact, he had the same outfit as 007.
He remembered that the first time 007 saw Will, he complimented his taste in clothes.
Will said, still with a horrible face. "Your Majesty... Is.. Is the Empress Dowager! She said she is about to cross the river styx!
The emperor got up immediately and went quickly out of the room.
Fang Li was shocked, but decided to follow his father.
007 said as he also run after the emperor.
"Why? What happened? Why is it so bad that grandma is crossing some river?"
"What!?" Fang Li screamed. "Is that supposed to happen?" Was this part of the original story?
Finally the emperor and Fang Li arrived at the Empress Dowager palace.
In the room, an old lady lay on the bed. With the eyes closed. She looked in peace, like she was ready to follow the wind and be free for her earthly chains.
"Mother! What 's wrong!?" The emperor said loudly. The anxiety in his voice was clear.
"Fang Shen... come closer..." the empress Dowager said with a crispy, weak voice.
This was the first time that Fang Li had heard the real name of the emperor. Since everybody called him emperor or his majesty. He personally called him Father.
The emperor approached the empress dowager. "Closer..." the old lady say with an almost inaudible voice.
The emperor took his head closer to his mother so he could heard her better.
"My son..."
Fang Li was waiting for his grandmother to say some special final words.
But the next moment the almost liveless eyes ignited. Like flames on them. Under her bed sheets was some random book, and with it, the empress dowager gave the emperor a hit on the head.
"Ow!" The emperor scream in pain.
"You ungrateful brat! Only on my deathbed you dare to appear. How dare you try to avoid your own mother!" The empress dowager kept hitting his son's head; she didn't care he was the emperor, to her, it was his son that right now needed a beating.
"Grandma.. Are you fine?" Fang Li said. Besides 007,the empress dowager was the second person that he talked the most to. So he was relieved to see that the old woman was full of spirit.
"Of course, honey. Believe me, you won't get rid of the sack of bones in the near future."
"Mother! How could you fake being on your deathbed!" The emperor said angrily.
"Hum, who told you to avoid me like I am the black plague? This is the method that you made me use to talk to you."
The emperor didn't look his mother in the eyes. Like a kid trying to not look guilty. "I-is not that I'm avoiding you. It's just that I'm too busy with work..."
That made the empress dowager even angrier. "Don't make me start with that. I just heard that you keep promising that nasty princess my grandson's hand? Are you nuts? Have you forgotten that this problem happened because of that girl?"
The emperor didn't respond. He knew that his mother was right, but he still thought that it was the best solution.
Fang Li watched the scene.
That princess again. She was the origin of all his headaches.

In a palace white as bone, the bird sang and the air was cold. The snowflakes that fell on the white rose garden only made the scene look even magical. Like a picture that you could only find in a fantasy land.
On the halls of the palace two little chubby boys were shouting their lungs out.
"Princess! Please come out! Is time for your studies!"
The other chubby twin said "The queen will be upset if she learns that you skip your lessons again!"
Hiding behind a big mirror, a girl was laughing as she saw the two chubby twins for her. But the princess didn't notice that someone was already behind her.
"Princess, please stop bothering the poor twins. They are going to fake out if they keep running after you."
"Please Lorina, I don't want to read. Those texts are so boring." The princess said.
The maid, Lorina, only shakes her head, with a helpless smile on her face "Let's do this. How about getting a little snack first and then we get your lessons started? How does that sound?"
The snacks surely caught the princess atterion, after some consideration she nodded reluctantly. "Okay. Fine"
"Good. Today I have something special for you. Twins, can you get the tea ready?"
"Yes mam!" the twins said as they went to the dinner room.
"Now look at you, you are going to get your dress dirty if you keep fooling around."
Lorina said as she took some dirt off the princess dress.
In the mirror, the reflection of a young woman with golden hair, shiny as the sun. On top of that a cute ribbon was keeping her hair together. She wore a beautiful light blue dress, the colors were like the ocean, calm and serene.It went very well with her white skin.Her eyes were the same as the dress, but they were full of curiosity and energy.
Then Lorina took the princess to the dinner table, where the tea was already served by the twins.
The prince sits on her chair. Then Lorina brought a tart. It looked delicious. The strawberries on the top make it even more appetizing.
When the princess tasted it, her eyes shone like the stars in space.
"This is so good!" She couldn't help herself, the taste was simply too good.
Then she looked at the twins that were looking straight at the tart, the princess laughed a little. "You can have some too, you know?"
The twins looked at Lorina, when she nodded her head they quickly approached the table. "Thank you princess!"
"Lorina, where did you take this? I didn't know that the royal chef improved their crafting so well!"
"Well, you are right, old Ron is still trying to improve his recipes. This tart was brought from a new Bakery that opened in a small town by the border."
"Oh? Really?"
"Yes my princess. Is also the same shop that made the hot chocolate that you loved."
! Ever since Lorina introduced her to hot chocolate she had fallen involved with it. She was now full of curiosity about these wonderland shop...
"Lorina prepared the Carriage, I must visit this amazing shop!" Without waiting for Lorina to respond the princess grabbed another piece of tart and quickly left the room.
"Princess, you can't go now! What about your lessons? Princess, wait up! For God sakes Alice come back!"
