"It looks like a storm is coming." Father Lewis said as he watched the sky from the window.
The sky was black as coal, and not even a ray of sunshine could go through those heavy clouds.
Qiu said inside Felix mind.
Felix had never actually seen the snow before. The country that he lived in his past life had a tropical climate all year long. He also didn't have the opportunity to travel, so snow was like a myth, a story tale for him.
So, he was actually kinda expecting the arrival of winter. But he also knew that a storm would be bad. In medieval times, winter was the most deadly season. A lot of people could freeze to death. So he was glad that he had made preparations to his and Fang Yu's house beforehand.
"Father! We forgot to get some Crown Mushrooms. Some other villagers are going to the Smile Woods to get some. I will go with them a get some."
Father Lewis just remembered that issue thanks to Miles' words. "Yeah, I think it is a good idea. We've run out of those. We don't know how long the storm will last. So you should find a lot, just in case."
This was the first time that Felix had heard those names since he came here. But he felt that it would be weird if he asked his parents what was that, so he asked his system instead.
"Qiu, what are those things that they are talking about?"
The rabbit with his favorite guide at hand said.
"So? How do they control it?"
With some rubbish on his cheeks, Qiu said
"Then, how can the people that are unmarried and can't afford it control their heat?" Felix couldn't help but asked. Could it be that they could only rely on relief themselves?

So it was like that. Well, indeed it was the better option. Now that he was in the body of an omega, he would need that mushroom.
While Felix was talking to Qiu on his mind. Mother Rosie on the side hearing the conversation between Father Lewis and Miles couldn't help but say. "Yes, it would be nice to have some. Felix's heat is delayed. Maybe it will be a big one next time. We should be prepared."

"Yeah, I wanted to accompany my brother." Felix said. Hearing that, the frown on Miles' face was a little better. He didn't like when his cute brother was around this hungry wolf.
Paying no mind to Miles, Felix asked, "Brother Yu, where are we going to collect the mushrooms?"
"We are going to Smile Woods. It is a big forest that is an hour from here. Unfortunately, the crown mushrooms don't grow in the forest near the village, so this is the best option."
"So don't go messing around, and stay near me." Miles said.
"Yes~"
And like that, Felix, Fang Yu, Miles and the other villagers went to Smile Woods. Like Fang Yu said before, the woods were far from the village, but one of the villagers brought an ox cart, so the trip was shorter by half an hour.

Looking at the view in front of him, Felix saw a forest. In contrast with the forest near the village, this one was more beautiful. The trees were high as the eye could see, and there were flowers of all the colors of the rainbow.
"Why is it called Smile Woods?" Felix asked.

Looking that Felix knew now, Fang Yu said, "I also asked this question before. Everyone that enters here feels the same, so to make it less creepy, they called it Smile Woods."
So, because of the feeling of being stared at, they called it Smile Woods? Sorry, but that was more creepy in his opinion.
But putting that matter aside, Felix follow Fang Yu to collect the crown mushrooms.
As for Miles? He didn't know a thing.
Mother Rosie gave Felix a basket where he could put the mushrooms. But now that he was thinking about it. He didn't know what they looked like!
Fang Yu was talking to some villagers and hadn't started yet, so looking to the side, he saw a young man with wolf ears pulling a red mushroom from the ground.
"Qiu are those the crown mushrooms?"
Qiu looked back at his guide and checked.
So Felix started to collect the crow mushrooms. They looked big and were very red. Like a mushroom from an old game.
Felix was still looking for more, when a scream was heard. Quickly, everyone looked at what happened.
It turns out that one of the villagers was bitten by a snake. They didn't know if it was poisonous, so it was better to go back to the clinic just in case.
"Bah, what bad luck" But that was not all of it, when the snake bit the villagers, the snake that was thrown at landed on a skunk. An unfortunately Miles was very near it.
Smelling the bad odor coming from his body. Miles was very upset. What, that damn snake had to land near a skunk. So angry!
"Now I will smell like these for days!" Thinking about it, Miles grew even angrier.
"Don't worry, Big Brother, if you shower in tomato juice, the smell should disappear." Felix tried to comfort Miles.
"Eh? Really?" Why had he never heard about that method?
"Come on, you should go with the ox cart, you still have to take Gary back to the clinic." Fang Yu said.
Miles wanted to take back Felix, but the former didn't want to go just yet. So, after persuading Miles, Fang Yu promised to take care of Felix. Obviously Miles didn't like the idea, but knowing that he couldn't change the mind of his brother, he could only grit his teeth and accept.
Originally there were only six people coming to Smile Woods, and with Miles, the bitten one and other villager that ride the cart, only Felix Fang Yu and the villager with wolf ear were left.
"Well, it looks like we have to go back by foot, so let's finish collecting the mushrooms and take a break. Then we'll go back."
Neither Felix nor the wolf beastman had objections, so they quickly finished the task and sat under the shadow of a tree, and they took some sandwiches that Mother Rosie had prepared for Felix.

The three of them chatted for a while until they decided that it was time to go back. The trip from Smile Woods to Moon Village was an hour long. Felix just hoped that they could make it out alive.
