The look of confusion in Alicia's eyes as she saw me in Damon's hold. Her hands let go of the door and it opened wider so much that Jeanette was able to push herself in. We were still in each other arms even when Beatriz came.
"What's going on?" Her voice was sounding weak like she was about to cry.
Damon let me go slowly, we both had the obligation of explaining things before it escalate to another thing. "Look Alicia it isn't what you are thinking" I walked closer to her trying to explain the entire situation.
"Then tell me Priscilla.... What is it that I am thinking? Cause right now I am confused why a surrogate would be in the arms of my fiance" her voice getting higher at each word that she spoke, her eyes were already burning with intense flames that could wipe out an entire country.
I was weak. Was this it? My life was about going down the hill because of a man that I cared not so much about, even Xander who had came in last couldn't bear to look at me, it was painful.
"Damon.... What are you doing in her by the way? Don't tell me you came to check up on her, cause you had the whole day to do that.... Beatriz please talk to your son, I don't want a situation where by Iwill have to send a message to all of my guest telling them the wedding has been called off because of a shameless surrogate who couldn't keep her hands off my man" Alicia blurted out her anger was at it peak that she didn't mind insulting me.

"Never speak to her like that Alicia!" Damon shouted making his voice echo
throughout the room and sending the whole room silent, there were vein showing off on his neck.
His defensive action came out so cold that Alicia couldn't help herself from whimpering as she tried to speak. "What did you say?"
"Priscilla did no.wrong infact I was the one who came in to her room to give her the news that I bought her the car mum requested me to get for her, you can ask Beatriz to confirm that" Damon pushed aside everyone and stormed out with Xander following him.
"Damon!" Alicia called out. "Is this true Beatriz.... Did you actually tell Damon to get Priscilla a car?" Alicia asked her voice breaking so bad you could feel she was actually pained.
"It's true dear, I am sure Damon only came to relay the message to her and in act of thankfulness Priscilla must've hugged him, there is no need for all this, the only mistake he made was relaying it to her in her room I know it is very upsetting and I am apologising for his behavior, please forgive him, Damon really wants to marry you and it will happen trust me there isn't any need to get upset about anything now" Beatriz looked at me for a while before she took Alicia's hands.
"If this is true then I guess I acted a bit out of context, I am don't want what happened last year to repeat itself" Alicia eyes looked at mine, I was really weak and couldn't even utter a single word because of how defenseless I was. "I am sorry Priscilla.... I know I was a bit out of line and I really and I apologise" Alicia released Beatriz hands and held mine. "Forgive me" she said when she was closer to me.
She was wrong to apologise when I am the one doing all the wrongs to her.
"No I am the one who should be apologising...." I wanted to explain everything to her because the guilt was killing me so badly.
She tried to smile to ease the tense environment, I could see Jeanette getting pissed at the turn out of event like she was expecting something different from what had happened.
"There is no need for that, I was the one who didn't understand the situation before reacting" she heaved a heavy sigh before adding "how about you get some rest you haven't had some since you returned, it would really make me happy if you do"

I nodded in agreement. "Everybody leave the show is over" Jeanette announced to the maids that we're already hovering around the area, I am sure that before dawn the news would have spread through the entire mansion that Damon was in my room, it might even get twisted and be spread the other way around.
In act of forgiveness Alicia had waited in the room till I had bathed and tucked me in my bed. Alicia was nice till she is angry, she scared me a lot and I knew she isn't something I should be messing with, today I was saved by her wrath by Damon intervening for my sake even though he spoilt it by leaving, there was still tomorrow and the next if I keep this thing with Damon it would most definitely land me in my grave.
It should be stopped by all means, today was nothing compared to what she might do if she caught me in the same bed with him.
After tonight I very much knew Alicia will start looking at me different and the next morning during breakfast confirm, she feels threatened by me.
She sat next to Damon trying to force him to eat his vegetables which he had kept aside. Unlike his usual wink during family gatherings such as this Damon didn't bother to make any eye contact with him, it was like I was the only one trying to get him to at least look at me with my constant staring.
It was stupid of me because everyone was watching I and Damon's every move now.
Damon finally ate the veggies Alicia was forcing him to eat, "Awwn... Now you deserve a kiss" she gave him a light kiss on the lip, "Now for every vegetable you eat there will be a kiss" she said smiling before looking at me. "Celia, I see you had a wonderful night.... That reminds me, I was thinking if you might want to be my maid of honor" The fork in my hand fell on my plate, "Alicia I am carrying a child, I think it will be impossible....."
"Great! Thanks for doing this for me Priscilla" she said cutting me off, Beatriz didn't even bother to stop her and shockingly Xander too too who was more into his food than the conversation we were having, it was only Damon who went out of his way to oppose it before she dropped it even her friend Jeanette was displeased by this new request, though Jeanette had actually refused to be her maid of honor due to circumstances unknown to me.
When everything went back to normal again Alicia spoke this time, it hits all depths. "I want the wedding shifted to next week" she said looking directly and lovingly at Damon waiting to hear his response.
"Alicia I know you still a bit worried about yesterday and I...." Beatriz tried to speak but Alicia cut her off.
"This has nothing to do with yesterday, infact I been wanting to say this ever since that the wedding date was way too far"
"I know but...." Beatriz tried to speak but Alicia cut her off again while facing Damon trying to seek his approval.
"A week is too short for the dream wedding you wanted, a month is better" Damon said.
Alicia smiled. "Okay that's fine.... I better start preparing" she left the table going up to her room.
A message popped on my screen and I quickly took it off from the table before anyone sees who it was from. "Meet me inside the botanical garden we need to talk"
