Chapter 40: Still wilderness

Life experiencesWords: 1504

Far away

Forest filling the land

A lone queen's castle

exterior veins

Vines twirling up the walls

Flowers blooming

Distracting from within

Sun rises

Morning dew dripping

Dropping down the leaves

An unkept beauty

Revealing the creator's masterpiece

Four square windows

Dust settled over

Hazy view of a dark living room

Linens wrapped in plastic

Man made creation kept anew

Creaky boards under toes

Creeping up the stairs

Hollow walls

Frames incasing happy pairs

Voices echoing through the halls

Bright light shining

Under the crack in the door

Stair case winding

Path lead by curiosity across the floor

Hinges squeaking

Queen's quarters revealing

Sheer, fine fabrics draping dark wood

Elegantly flowing downward

Loose tendrils sprawled against the pillow

Slumber ever peaceful

Sun shining through a window

Breeze through a crack cool

Surrounding drapery catching the wind flow

Righteously restful

Reality shakes

Upright- mind full

The bird's songs play

Cloudless sky blue

Crisp green trees sway

Having bid the castle ado

Painfully aware, unendingly awake

Holy reign on path to ensue

Trail following the waters edge

Amphibians and reptiles habitat

Feet stomping across the bridge

Treading loudly to avoid attack

Glimmering- attention pulling

Once at the other side

Bending, she must crouch

Peaking above water, frogs staring in her eyes

Arms raising, removing her crown

Her worth much more than jewels

Little importance to be renown

Matters of the throne no longer her duels
