Chapter 85: Jealous?
Jasmine's POV He never stops bothering me every day. I kept on avoiding him.
â Did you message him?â I asked Rhian on the phone while she was checking my schedule. I have a meeting right now, and I've been waiting here in the restaurant for almost ten minutes, yet heâs still not around.
I still have a lot to do. He said he was going to buy one of our condo units, and he even scheduled our meeting for today.
â Yes, ma'am. He messaged me that he's coming there now,â she said while she was busy on her laptop.
I rolled my eyes, this is the first I've waited for my client so late.
â I don't know why he isn't texting me. I just told him if he didn't arrive right now I'm really sorry but I have to go. Iâll cancel the meeting after five more minutes,â I said and ended the call.
I kept on looking at my watch. My gaze went to the entrance, and I wasn't expecting him there. What was he doing here? He looked around like he was searching for someone.
Did he have an appointment here, too? I just ignored him and opened my phone.
Seconds later, I felt someone sitting on the opposite chair. I thought it was my client. I was broadly silent, but my silence slowly faded when I saw who it was.
Here he is again.
â If you are here to bother me again, just go. I have an important meeting today with my client, and I don't have any trouble. Just get out of that chair right now, Travis.â I pointed to the chair he was sitting on, but he didn't move. He looked at me with a puzzled expression.
â What are you still doing?â I irritatedly said, which made her let out a heavy breath.
â I'm your client today,â he said, which surprised me. What the heck is happening? Why would he introduce himself as a client?
â Wait a moment â I stood up and grabbed my phone. I was about to call Rhian when she had already called me.
â You didn't tell me that my client was him?â My voice sounds mad, but I don't care. My day was ruined again when I saw his face.
â Ma'am, I'm sorry. I don't really know that he was the one who made an appointment. He used another name, I just found out right now,â she explained. So this is all his plan again.
I looked at him, and he just smiled at me. He's waiting like my real client.
â Next time, I want you to double-check those clients who want to have an appointment with me, okay? I'll end the call now,â I said, walking towards the table.
I saw him watching me while walking towards him. I sat on the chair and fixed my hair.
â Is everything alright?â He asked me like everything was normal. We were both sitting here.
I force to smile when she notices that I don't like being with her here.
â So you are Mr. Jack?â I sarcastically asked him. He smiled, proud that we had been fooled. We didn't know that it was him because she used another name and Information.
â Just forget about that. Do you want to order something?â He asked me while he was calling the waitress, who immediately went to our table.
â Just water,â I told him. He looked at me and started ordering too much for one person.
â That would be all,â he said before the waitress made his way.
â Look, let's just discuss our agenda. â I told him. A few minutes later, our food arrived.
He started eating, and I couldn't stop but watch him devour the food. Damn him!
â Can you be more kind to me?â He said after she drank his water.
I rolled my eyes. How can I do that? He was the reason why I'm here, right? He likes annoying me.
â You know what? I don't know what came to your mind when you did this.â I told him, but he just shrugged his shoulders.
â Are you playing with me?â I placed both my hands on the table. He stopped eating. He looked at me with those pleasing eyes.
â What? No. I just want to buy condo units. I was actually kinda thinking, and I found out that you're selling one of them,â he said. Is that really the reason?
â You know what? Why don't you just find another business owner that could offer you the best deal?â I said, trying to reject him.
Winning Her Heart Again (Jasmine)
ï¤Chapter 84: Enough Travis â Wait, you should be happy you have an additional client.â He said. He's just like telling me that I should be thankful.
â Could you stop talking and just talk about the condo unit that you are going to buy?â I lost patience. I gave him the different condo unit images that we had. He started looking at them.
â This one, I'll buy this.â He said, referring to the highest condo unit that we had. What's his plan? Why did he think of buying a condo?
â Fine. Just sign this deal so I can get over this meeting. I don't know why he didn't just talk about me about this, or maybe he knew that I won't accept him as my client.
â In a hurry? Common, let's just talk in the meantime.â I don't have time for this. Can't he just see that I'm in a hurry and doing a lot of things? And here he is pestering me.
â Could you please stop? Travis. If you are not busy, then I don't care. My time is precious. You can ask someone who is willing to listen to you. Just call Stacy. I'm sure she'll be happy to be with you,â I told him. I grabbed the papers after he finished signing them.
â You're always bringing her into our conversation. Are you jealous? Tell me,â he suddenly said, which surprised me.
What the heck? Why would I be jealous?! Is he out of his mind?! His audacity to say something like that.
â What?!â I stood up and left him there. He's dreaming in broad light.
