Xiaoguo picked up the pickled crispy fish with chopsticks and plated it. Every piece of the crispy fish was coated with the fragrant sweet sauce. On top of the aroma from the soybean paste, the sauce derives its fragrance from fruit juice that Xiaoguo had added. That was why there was a refreshing sweetness to its taste.

Xiaoguo and the chefs brought all the dishes to the hall. Jiang Danhe was already seated in the hall with Li Shouji, Zhuang Zhuang, and Xiaoyi, but they were not at the dining table.

Seeing this, Xiaoguo guessed that the person who was coming might not be here yet.
