The morning came quicker than i expected. I didn't want the night to end. It was my way of holding onto everything that happened. Just for once I hope the universe would be at my altar. I hoped it would let me have Alystair.
"Romen!" My mom's shouting broke my train of thought. I groaned loudly hoping she would hear it and leave me be. One thing about my mother is when she calls, you better answer. I brushed my teeth and ran down the stairs before she threw a fit.
To my surprise alystair was baking something with my mom, they really seemed to be into whatever monstrosity they were trying to accomplish and Zora and Zainab were engaged in some sort of gossip session with Destiny.
"Ma what in the hell has you screaming so early in the morning?" My voice was laced in sleepiness. I tried my best not to avert my eyes to Alystair even though i more than wanted to. Would he be disgusted, did the nights magic fade on him, was he questioning what happened? I raked my hands through my hair at the thought. "Tada!" My mom brought out a cake of all sorts of colors.
"This must be an experiment." I deadpanned. She crossed her arms. "A successful one don't be a what do you kids call it nowadays?"
"An asshole!" Destiny shouted across the room. "Yes that." My mom smiled and ushered us all to the dining room to look at whatever they cooked up in the kitchen. "Alystiar here helped me he is such a darling." Everyone raised their eyebrows as we laughed at my mother's statement. "He is far from a darling." Zainab side eyed my mom as she spoke.
"Well since none of you helped me but him...Alystiar you can have the first piece." I rolled my eyes at my mom's sass. Alystiar made way to cut the first piece as per my mom's instructions and placed it on a side plate. Just as we thought he was going to eat it he pivoted and walked up to me.
He held out the cake to me and my heart melted. "For me?" I questioned him. His gaze was just as steady as his hand. Unwavering. "I'll give it to someone else if you don't want it." I snatched it real fast from him as he spoke.
"Aww." The girls cooed with puppy eyes. "They're dating." My mom whispered to them but clearly not low enough. "We're not stop it." I reprimanded them. "You wish." Destiny retorted. I sighed and made my way upstairs to my room with my cake. I took a long shower completely taken over by my thoughts.
A part of me feared looking into Alystairs eyes in fear I wouldn't see what i wanted. Him to want me. Never in my life has someone brought me to my knees, he has me begging for whatever i can get from him.
I walked into my room, fully clothed luckily with Alystair sleeping on my bed. He fell asleep with his glasses. I laid beside him careful to not wake him up.
Paradise. He was my paradise. I ran my hand through his hair gently and tucked a strand behind his ear before i gently took off his glasses. His eyes fluttered open. "Were you waiting for me?" I asked him softly. "No I wanted to ask you how the cake was."
Liar.
The silence envolved us like a shadow. He held my gaze so intensely i wondered if i would ever survive if he kept looking at me like that. Like I meant something.
"Do you regret it?" I broke the silence.
"it's completely okay if you do you know you don't have to force yourself to do anything." I tucked another strand of hair behind his ear. He reached for my face with his hand.
"The possibility that this is a game to you is quite high." It broke my heart. Not because it hurt me but because he thought this whole time he was just another body to me to be rid of.
"Since the day I laid my eyes on you I've never taken anyone to bed. No one has ever been in this bed before let alone my house. No one but you Alystair."
I looked into his eyes, lost in the tranquility and chaos they promised. "I'm willing to be whatever the hell you want me to be." I declared. "I can be your friend if that's what you want, or we can move at whatever pace you feel comfortable with. It's all up to you Alyss." I kissed his forehead after my rant. I could only hope he believed me. I would wait however long he needed.
"Why?" I raised my eyebrow at his question.
"I need a why Romen. Logic. Why?" He raked his hand through his hair in frustration. It all made sense now. He was a man of logic. Everything he did needed logic behind it, I don't blame him for asking me why but for the life of mine I did not have an answer to his question. It eluded me.
"My reason got lost the minute i heard your snarky voice. I can't- i sighed- think of a reason. Do i really need one?" I turned to my side to fully see him. My heart leaped at just how beautiful he was.
When death visits me i want it to be his face i see last. I gave him a quick peck before i spoke. "If what you want is logic then I'm afraid I can't give that to you. I've liked you before you even knew my name that first day in class." His eyes softened as a spoke.
"Promise me." He whispered. I leaned in to kiss him. gently. I wanted him to know I don't want him for his body or sex, i wanted him because i needed him. I needed his cruelty and kindness as much as the air i breathed.
I closed my eyes and imagined a future he would exist in. It held me together yet broke me at the possibility of otherwise. If he knew how much i liked him he would run.
"Promise me this isn't a game to you." He finished off so softly in a murmur i would have never heard him had i not been this close.
"I promise." I kissed his forehead and leaned mine against his.
As he drifted away in my arms my feelings screamed. I didn't know how to contain myself when everything I've ever wanted was so close to me. There's nothing I wouldn't give up to have him like this every night.
As the moon took a hold of the sky it served as a reminder of how Alystiar had me in the palm of his hand. My hands shook against his body at the realisation that I'm in love with Alystair Satori.

Don't hate me but I've had this chapter in my drafts for a month. I didn't like it at all so i wrote 5 different chapters and i hated those ones even more so i just went for this one :(
