"She did WHAT" Ethan hissed
"Keep your voice down" Kate groaned as she pressed her fingers against the volume button, lowering it
"Tell me I didn't hear right. Ayo somebody PLEASE TELL ME I DID NOT JUST HEAR RIGHT" He yelled
"Oh god" Kate rolled her eyes
The brunette was alone in the backseat of the car, she had to flee that house before her brain exploded. Rick was currently taking her to the studio, one of their more intimate scenes had to be filmed today and there was no way she could avoid Autumn
But that didn't mean she couldn't take a ride there by herself to clear her mind. But that was hard to do since Ethan was going off like a siren on the phone speaker
"SHE WANTS ME TO ACT UP. THIS BITCH WANTS ME TO ACT UP. YO, HOLD MY EARRING. I SAID HOLD MY EARRING"
"Ethan, you don't have any earrings" Jamie said on the phone speaker
"THEN HOLD ME BACK BEFORE I BEAT THAT BITCH BACK INTO THE WOMB" Ethan yelled
"Oh my God" Kate groaned
"I don't understand what happened, everything was so good last night"
"You both said you were into each other,then this happens. What the fuck is going on" Ethan yelled
"I don't know. I'm just as confused as you both are" Kate mumbled
"But are you okay?" Jamie questioned
"I... I don't know"
"Oh for fuck sakes. Life was going SO perfect until a purple witch waltz in and fucks everything up" Ethan yelled
"We gotta remember that Autumn also has a part in this"
"SHE'S THE ONE I'M TALKING ABOUT BEATING. I don't care about her security guards. If these hands need to throw then they gonna throw. No one fucks with our baby Kate, especially when it comes to her heart!" Ethan hissed
"You need to calm him down because he throws a fit" Kate mumbled
"TOO LATE KATYA. IT'S TOO LATE"
"Oh my god" Kate chuckled softly
"This whole situation is so fucked up. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that Kate" Jamie mumbled
"I just... I just don't know what to do"
"Feed her rat poiso-"
"ETHAN"
"what! It was only a suggestion. Come on you guys know I'm kidding right?"
"She has that scene with her today. The one where... You know happens" Jamie said
"N- OHHH. oh no. That's it, we're on our way over"
"What?" Kate asked
"I. Said. We're. Coming. To. The. Studio. Tell that bitchy guard to keep a look out for two heated bisexuals holding an axe. Bye Kate!" Ethan said and ended the call
The brunette chuckled to herself before placing her phone back into her pocket. No matter what, her friends never failed to make her smile. They were the only family she had besides herself. They stepped in when no one else did and for that she'll be forever grateful
But nothing could ever shake the pain she felt.
A smile is only temporary, we wear it like a mask in front of those who needed to see that side of us.
But we hook our fingers around their strings and bring that mask down when we're alone with our thoughts
"Ms Wilson, we're here" Rick announced as the door pulled open
The morning sky met the girl's eyes as she stepped onto the flat concrete of the parking lot. But this was different. Usually she'd step out of that car with a smile and a familiar raven hair girl standing by her side, annoying her mind yet still making her crave her company.
So when Kate stepped out of that vehicle with her heart weighing heavy, she immediately knew that Autumn truly had impacted her life in different ways.
"Morning Katie" May grinned widely when she saw the girl approaching
"Morning" the brunette gave a low mumbled
"Everything okay sweetie?" the director asked
"Great" Kate smiled sarcasticly
"Oh no, what did that knuckle head do now" May groaned
"I don't know, maybe you should ask her" Kate muttered as she sunk into her seat
"Should I be worried here? Are you two gonna be able to film today because it's really important-"
Ah yes. The life of an actress. To find that way to put aside your feelings, your personal life and transform into a completely different person in front of many
Maybe that's why alot of actors are sad
Kate's eyelids closed and the cold air filled her lungs, perhaps another restart to her morning that was going oh so perfectly well
"I'm fine, we're going to do the shoot today I promise" Kate said in a more softer tone
"Alright let's get you into hair and makeup" May announced before glancing at the crew who then started to head right over to the actress
The square mirror with golden lights around it stood on Kate's dresser, it was enough to pick up every pimple, every hair follicle out of place yet it couldn't pick up the misery written all over her face
The soft tips of the makeup brushes touched Kate's face, covering her misery with powered and subtle pink liquids to make her seem like a smol bean
"There you are, you're almost late you know!" May yelled
"Not my fault a certain someone seemed to rush out of the house and take the car" Autumn stated as she approached her own dressing area, sitting besides Kate
"You have your own car, just drive. Ugh you teenagers" May groaned before heading away
"Wish I knew the reason I would have to drive" Autumn stated as she glanced over to the brunette
As calm as Kate seemed, the company of Autumn was starting to stir something inside her that she hadn't felt in a while
"Good Morning Kate" Autumn said
But the brunette stayed silent, that burning anger was crawling up a rope inside her as she wasn't ready to let it out yet
The fact that Autumn was pretending like it was just a normal day and nothing had happened was triggering every emotion possible inside her
"Are you really not gonna talk to me?" the raven hair girl asked
"Talk to your whore" Kate muttered
"Excuse me?" Autumn questioned
"You heard me"
"What are you talking about!?" Autumn yelled
Kate's eyes widened before her neck snapped towards her Co star who was getting her makeup done beside her
"Are you fucking kidding me right now?" Kate hissed
"WHAT!?"
"Wow. Just fucking wow. You're unbelievable" Kate spat before pushing her chair backwards
"Kate what the hell is going on"
"I don't know. Why don't you ask your ex?"
"Is this seriously about Brooke?"
"Is.. Is this seri- did you really just?"
"I'll explain it later but for right now, it's complicated" Autumn said
"Oh. Oh so it's complicated. One minute you're with me then the next you're back with your ex and I become invisible again. Got it Autumn. Got it"
"What the hel-"
"I really thought I knew you. I really thought you were better than that. Guess I was wrong" Kate spat before speed walking away from the girl
"Does ANYONE have any idea what the hell is going on!?"
"Nope" A makeup artist muttered under their breath
"Not a clue" Someone else said
"Oh for fuck sakes" Autumn groaned and pushed herself from the chair, making her way towards set
Kate's feet moved fast, pushing past the walking crew members on set that held their heavy cameras or parts of the removable set that was still being prepared. The smaller girl dodged through the crowd with ease, leaving a groaning Autumn behind that struggled to chase after her
"Kate!"
"Don't talk to me"
"Kate wait up!"
"I said don't talk to me"
"You're acting like a child!"
Kate's eyes widened as she stepped dead in her tracks not even realizing they were standing in the middle of the set.
"Oh I'm acting like a child!?" Kate yelled
"Just tell me what's wrong and stop acting so petty"
"I DON'T NEED TO TELL YOU WHAT'S WRONG. YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU DID"
"Alright eveyone is at their marks, Quite on set. We roll in ten seconds" May said when she noticed the girls were at their que
"How am I supposed to say anything when I don't even KNOW WHAT I DID" Autumn yelled
"Oh don't bring that! You know exactly what happened. God I can't believe I even fell for this shit again"
"Kate, I literally have no fucking clue what you're fucking talking about!"
"Go ask fucking BROOKE WHAT HAPPENED"
