Autumn quickly wiped her hands with the napkin and tossed it aside before pushing away her chair. The sound of the wooden screeching against the marbled floor didn't alert any looks from the other parties
Ptff as if they cared
The raven hair girl made her way around the dinner table and headed towards the door, her focus only on the brunette who her body called after
"Ugh God, come here" Kate moaned when the raven hair girl walked out of the kitchen
Her hands balled into the girl's shirt, pulling Autumn into her. The raven hair girl chuckle as she placed a hand on the wall and another on Kate's hips, pressing the brunette's back against the flat surface
Her lips immediately attached to Kate's neck, pressing against the sensitive skin with her smooth pale lips
Kate's head tilted back as she allowed a soft moan to leave her throat, feeling a heat settle in the pit of her stomach
Autumn's body pressed against her own, the girl's knee slipping between her legs and pinning her back securely to the wall where the posters hung over her head
"What are we doing?" Kate giggled as Autumn trailed soft pecks against the girl's skin
"We. Are. Avoiding. Our. Problems" Autumn said between kisses
Her fingers trailed down Kate's waist, gently travelling over her thigh and wrapping one around her waist
Kate's hands hooked around the girl's neck, her fingers tangled in her messy dark hair as she allowed Autumn's lips to pepper kisses along her skin
Her mouth attached to the area under Kate's chin, running her flat tongue over the sensitive skin and sinking her teeth into the flesh, causing Kate to hiss in pain and throw her head back further
Autumn's fingers slowly trailed up under the girl's thighs, forming a trail of goosebumps as they reached higher to cup her backside
"Autumn!" Kate giggled, feeling the panic in her heart
"Mm?" she mumbled against the girl's neck
"Your parents" She laughed
"What? They're busy" Autumn hummed before pressing her knee deeper, causing the brunette to suck in a breath
"They could ca-catch us" Kate whispered
"So? Let them" Autumn mumbled, her lips started to trail up the girl's neck, hovering just below her ear
"You'll get in troubl- Uhh fuck" Kate moaned and tilted her head back when Autumn's fingers pressed against her front
"What was that?" Autumn smirked
"N-nothing" Kate whispered, sinking her teeth into her bottom lip
Her soft pink lips caught between her teeth send Autumn's stomach swirling with butterflies, her skin felt as if it was pricked by a thousand needles all over her body, lighting her with a spark
"Don't do that" Autumn groaned before leaning her forehead against the girl's shoulder
"Don't do what?" Kate giggled
"That! God dammit your giggle" Autumn whispered into the girl's skin
Kate chuckled softly, vibrating against Autumn's body as she placed her chin against the girl's head
"What?" Kate giggled
"Nothing. Jus- I really.. Really want to kiss you right now" Autumn mumbled, sending a flutter in Kate's stomach
Her cheeks burned pink while her stomach felt like it was about to overflow, a smile desperately trying to make its way into her lips
"Why are you laughing at my pain!" Autumn pouted
"Because it's cute"
"NO IT'S NOT"
"YES IT IS" Kate laughed
"Oh for fuck sakes" Autumn rolled her eyes
"It's you who started the deal in the first place" Kate laughed
"Yeah, I know. Don't remind me" Autumn groaned as she raised her face a bit higher, nuzzling into Kate's neck
"You know... You could just kiss me right now and lose" Kate smirked
"Over my dead body-"
"YOU'RE SO STUBBORN" Kate laughed
"There's no way I'm letting you win. I'll never live the day down" Autumn said
"I- true. But still!"
"No"
"But-"
"No"
"Oh come on, give into temptation and kiss these lips" Kate smirked
"Ew"
"YOU JUST SAID-"
"YEAH I KNOW WHAT I JUST SAID" Autumn chuckled, the soft sounds of their laughter filled the hallway
Kate's arms held Autumn close to her body while the raven hair girl held her waist. Kate still hadn't realized it but it was the second time they were in such a position, just feeling their warm bodies together and their rhythmatic breaths
It wasn't a hug that gave a reason, but neither of them found the will to pull away. It was calming in such a way, Autumn's fresh vanilla and green mint scent filled Kate's nostril and making her head spin. It was just a hug but Kate felt warm inside, just a few months ago this would never have been possible yet here she was holding Autumn in her arms. Their hearts raced in their chest, it vibrated against each other's skin, Autumn's hot breath against her neck caused the goosebumps to trail along her back and run along her shoulders.
A spiral filled her stomach, tossing her emotions into a tornado and filling her veins.
Her world melted with her heart in that moment. Everything was just perfect for a few seconds, her smile, her pink cheeks, the butterflies in her stomach and Autumn's warm body intertwined with hers. It was unbreakable, the way she felt in the moment. There could never be something to ruin her happiness and if there was, she'd cherish the memory until it was nothing but nostalgia
"Do we really have to go back?" Autumn mumbled
"They came all this way" Kate said
"Yeah. They came all this way just to yell at me and tell me what a fuck up I've been" Autumn rolled her eyes causing the girl to frown
"You're not a fuck up Autumn"
"Tell that to them"
"Autumn" Kate mumbled, turning her head slightly to face the girl
"Yes?" She whispered
Maybe it was the way Autumn sounded so soft or the way the golden chandelier reflected in her eyes like brown sugar melting in heat and that sweet smile she had while being so close to her face made Kate's heart swell in her chest
"I can't even begin to describe how amazing you are. I swear I couldn't handle the pressure you deal with, the way people act like a fucking stone towards you for no fucking reason at all. You've dealt with so much Autumn, especially at a young age. You've faced dissapointment after disappointment but guess what? You're still here being yourself and growing from it. I don't blame you for wanting to protect yourself, wanting to protect your heart but that doesn't mean you're a fuck up. It means you're a person who's been hurt way too many times and she doesn't want to go through it again. So she puts up a wall, a wall around her heart to protect herself. And I'm trying Autumn. I'm really trying to break them down. If you trust me, I promise I won't hurt you" Kate whispered
Her heart raced in her chest as if it wanted to escape, the way Autumn smiled up at her made her body light on fire. A small pink stain appeared on Autumn's cheek
Her fingers brushed against Kate's chin, gently running her fingertips over the girl's body as she giggled to herself
"You tryna break my walls Ms Wilson?" Autumn chuckled
"Oh for fuck sakes Autumn!"
"What!? I'm joking" the raven hair girl laughed
"Idiot" Kate rolled her eyes
"Thank you Kate" She said
"For what?"
"For trying. No one's ever tried to know me for me. No one's ever saw me more than just a actress and.. You have no idea how special it makes me feel that you care. So thank you, for being patient with me. And thank you for trying" Autumn whispered
If it wasn't possible, Kate's heart raced even faster in her chest while swelling. Soaking up her emotions like a sponge and swelling
"And I trust you. You're actually the only person I trust" Autumn whispered before raising her head from the girl's neck

Those ocean blue eyes split through her soul with just one glance, her pale lips smiled and brought a warmth to her soul. Her fingers cupping Kate's cheek and her face coming closer made her heart leap in her chest
"And I want to let you in, more than anything" Autumn whispered before placing a tender kiss on the girl's cheek
"Then let me" Kate whispered
Autumn grinded her teeth against each other.
As people, we tend to fight ourselves. Sometimes we fight our ego that just wouldn't allow us to give in. Sometimes we fight our heart because we want to protect it. Sometimes we fight our minds because we think the images that appear there shouldn't be thought about in the first place
For Autumn, she had no idea which one she was fighting
But that warm smile on Kate's lips was enough to break down anyone's walls
And so it did. In that split second Autumn realized something
She's already let that girl in and she had stolen her heart a long time ago
