"I-"

"Oh for fuck sakes"

-----------------------------

They rode on horses that trampled through earth's creation, destroying what was birthed by the land and turning it into mush filled with a path of dirt where they ran

The thundering of hooves split the silence as the stallions galloped through the landscape. The wind wisped their mane into the air like flames, after all they were a flame colored chestnut. Their muscles rippled from under his freshly groomed pelt and powerful legs, something their owners lacked

"Jess" Daisy muttered

But the girl hadn't moved an inch, her eyes looked at each rider on horsebacks, heading their way

"Jess" she muttered again

But there were still no changes, nothing flicked in her brain. There was no fight or flight, there was simply nothing

"JESS" the brunette screamed, catching the attention of the taller girl

"Shit. We gotta go" Jess hissed as she gripped onto the girl's wrist

"What's going on?" she asked

"We just have to go. Now" Jess hissed, spinning on her heels to run

The sound of metal grinding against each other, loading the barrel of a riffle was heard. The two containers watched Jess at eye level and the smell of charcoal and smoke filled her nostrils

"One more step and I blow the both of you to pieces" His voice sounded like the feeling of a fallen icicle, pricking the skin

Jess stayed still once again, knowing if she only budged they'd be a blood war in the middle of the field

And the fact that she couldn't lose Daisy. Not again.

Blue eyes stared down the barrels of the riffle, somehow not feeling threatened. There was no emotion in her when it came to the man and his machine standing in front of her. She was far too accustomed to dealing with them both in another lifetime. Time after time, the same scene always happened again. Whether in her mind or in her journey. It was always the same. A gun brought into a fight when she least expected it

She could only hope to do better the next time. Or the next. But she just couldn't seem to break that loophole. It was always the same

Daisy's grip on her arm was the only thing she focused on, her fingertips trembling against her skin was enough to have her heart drop into her chest

A feeling of swelling filled in Daisy's throat, her entire body slowly started to tremble when that actual panic started to settle in

The fear sat on her like a pillow over her mouth and nose, slowly suffocating everything that was good and creating a darkness. Enough air got by it, allowing her body to keep functioning, but it was crippling all the same

"Well well well" A voice came from behind

The sandstorm had caught up to them sooner than they had thought. Horses surrounded like carrying men that had scowls on their faces. Their brown rough leather throw overs matched their gun cases, as if it was sewn from the same animal they had killed. Their dark leather booths touched the ground, bringing more sand to the air as they slowly walked towards the girl

"Look who it is" the familiar voice chuckled

Both girls knew better than to turn around to glance away, especially with a gun pointing into their souls, ready to claim all things living

"You don't look so tough now when a gun is pointed at your face"

"That's because a gun is pointing at my face" Jess spat

"You better WATCH YOU MOUT-"

"No no, it's okay. Let her speak, I'd love to know what that pretty little mouth or hers can do" The man chuckled

His face came even closer, eyes burning trails into Jess's face as he slowly made his way to her view, making sure his presence was known

It was a familiar smirk, the same smirk that came before laying his palm on Daisy's backside just weeks ago

"So yesterday my buddy Paul here-"

"Paul, ofcourse it's a Paul" Jess rolled her eyes

"Jess stop!" Daisy hissed

The raven hair girl almost cursed herself for losing focus of the bigger picture. She cared not for her own life but Daisy's meant everything to her

She was far too precious to lose

"Said he saw the most filthiest thing he'd ever come across on. A waitress and a common whore sucking face down by the river. Just disgusting" He hissed

"If you wanna talk about whores then you should talk to your wife-"

Jess was cut off by a stinging sensation striking at her cheek. What felt like pokes of a sharp needle pierced into the girl's skin. His fingers then gripped around her cheeks when he pulled her forward, away from the dusty gun aim and into his face

His pale green eyes were enough to tell a story about him. He was one that smoked every afternoon, the grey desidue smeared his thoughts as well as his visions while he fucked whatever whore he had snatched up from downtown. He went home smelling like the cheapest cologne from a roof leaking motel, yep his wife brushed it all off. He was ofcourse the breadwinner while his wife just stayed at home and baked bread. It's what he wanted. His property to be at home, following his orders. He like to be in control, it's when he was most happy. Seeing everything go his way

That's why when Jess had beat the life out of his at the bar downtown, his manhood had been crushed, especially in front of the men that seemed to worship him like a ring leader

Daisy's screams were almost deafening, filling the girl's ear as the few men gripped onto her shoulder, tugging her away from Jess

Another set of men gripped her hands around Jess's own, placing them behind her back and holding them tightly

But her demeanour didn't change, the sting in her cheek still burned but her face was as still as a stone

"Don't. You. Dare. Talk. About. My. Wife. Again. You Witch" He spat

"It's interesting that you have a wife, especially since you were grabbing a waitress's ass just a few days ago" Jess chuckled

The man furrowed his brow but the raging anger boiling within him was completely visible. His grip on her face became even stronger, sinking his fingers into her skin as she tugged her even closer towards his face

"You've got a smart mouth" he hissed

"You'd be surprised what my mouth can do actually" Jess smirked

"This bitch-"

"JESS STOP" Daisy hissed from behind

The raven hair girl sucked in a deep breath before glancing over towards brunette. Those slim, veiny fingers that were sinking into her flesh and turning her arm red from pressure being applied deeply to her skin. The blood was rushing up to her face as she screamed. Her legs rose to the air, kicking as hard as she could to escape their grasp but she was far too small for those tall men

"You know what I like to do with witches like you?" He asked

"And who says I'm a witch" Jess returned her attention to the coward that stood before her, desperately trying to make himself look impressive to his men

"Daisy belongs to one of the most respectable man of this village. She was an angel, all before you rolled in. I've been watching you. There's something about you that doesn't fit. Always running around with Daisy everyday, you never let her have a moment of peace! It was only a matter of time before a witch like you turned her mind. Whatever it is that you do, you hoaxed her. And now she's just as disgusting as you. But don't worry, my men and I have ways of changing her back. Breaking your spell. We just need to get rid of the witch first" He smirked

The grip on Jess's arm tighten as she was tugged away, the smiles of the men increased when they realized they were finally about to complete what they came there for

The tradition of eliminating a witch was through one way they knew of

And that was by fire

"NOO" Daisy's piercing screams filled the lonely pasture but it did nothing but anger the men

"Shut up" One hissed

"No no it's okay, let her scream. I'm sure she sounds even better in the bedroom-"

Now there's only one reason and only reason only why we stan Daisy. And that's at the fact that she cut him off by spitting a chuck of saliva and her apparent 'gay disease' onto his dried prune face

His jaw tightened as he closed his eyes, taking a deep breath in to clam his nerves

She felt his fingers dig into her cheek, the four blackened ovals that would remain and discolor her skin long after the blood had dried from her veins. The scream was stifled. She could hear him panting, the pleasure in his breath, like an animal in heat

He did not speak, no need to tell her not to fight, to make a sound. His fingers did all the work. Cling, hook, crush, threatening to unhinge her very jaw if another sound were to leave her lips. That was how she was to remain, silent

"LET GO OF HER"

"Or what? You'll give me your disease too? I'm a man, a real man. I can't catch your disgusting virus" he spat before hooking his hand around the girl's neck from behind

Jess swallowed that anger when it was a fire-seed and forgot to drink something cool, her eyes piercing into his skin mentally stabbing at his heart with a blade so sharp that it could slice another knife just as easily. Daisy's screams were echoed, the gloss in her eyes were of pure fear. Jess's heart became even heavier as she watched at the girl. The weight carried and carried into it sunk into the deep pits of her stomach. She knew she had brought her into that situation. If only she could have changed it. If only she could have made it better this time around. But those thoughts just grew her anger even more. And so it grew in her stomach until it came out as hot as any dragon has ever flamed

Her back was harshly slammed against the tree, hissing in pain at the sharp edges pushing into her bones. There was no way she could fight back for herself. With ten gun men that held her body down to the tree, there was no way she could came out alive

Their ropes wrapped many times around the girl's frame, pulling tightly at her ribs and making her hiss in pain again, then hang in that semi-taut way

He stepped closer, still slinging Daisy's small body in his arms. He gripped her shoulders behind her body while his other hands squeezed around her neck, controlling her head to face the person he called a witch

He was so close that his hot moldy and whiskey filled breath could melt the ropes if he breathed too hard. But her eyes bored into his

Making sure he would never forget her eyes, how that fire burnt him to ash. The eyes that sparked of passion, the way they sizzled even in the rain, but that inferno was more than her heart could manage

"Ready men?" He smiled

"READY BOSS"

"Alright, let's light her up" He chuckled and nodded towards one of his men

The sickening scent of gasoline came as it splattered all across the green grass of the land, leading a path towards the ropes that were already soaked in gasoline

One striked at a match and watched as it flickered in his fingers. The man lowered his wrist, pressing the match towards the beginning of the path, watching the flame take onto the gasoline and slowly trail its line towards the girl

"Don't worry, I'll take good care of her when you're in hell" He hissed

Flickering, weaving under the spell it was sparked into. A shrieking ray of melting gas purges out of the flame's capturing heat. It can be told that once the strongest of cornerstones were illuminated into molten when in communion of such a harmful object of division but only the purest could make its identity out as courage, sound mind

In the intense silence Daisy somehow screamed with her whole body. The eyes wide with horror, the mouth rigid and open, her chalky face gaunt and immobile, the fists clenched with blanched knuckles and the struggle to break free from the man's grasp when she saw the fire reaching closer towards Jess's body

The tears burst forth like water from a running pipe, flowing down Daisy's cheek, spilling down her face. The muscles of her chin trembled as her howling screams took over.

The scream tore through her like a great shard of glass. Her eyes widen and pulse quickened, her heart thudding like a rock rattling in box. The scream came again, desperate, terrified. The blood drained from her face, the side effect of constant fear

Jess lived in her anger, her jaw squeezed tight as she closed her eyes, not wanting to see the pain written all over Daisy's face.

She couldn't imagine the torment her brain was in. She could see it first in her eyes, then a tension of her muscles

The glowing embers leaped and twirled in a firery dance, twinkling like stars in the hot swirling air before cascading to earth like gleeful fire fiends, setting alight the tinder dry grass of high

She knew it was going to be over soon

The burning smell of skin and her life being gone in just seconds was what they wanted, what they craved. Her life was being taken away from her by another who assumed they have the authority to do so

He let go, allowing Daisy to fall onto her knees and watch as each rope be consumed with fire

The flickering sound filled her ears, the decaying scent of human flesh being burnt took over. The man laughed and clapped their hands together for a job well done, knowing they had finished and did something well for their village

It crushed her, it left her incapable of everything. It left her broken- in and out. The tears rolled down, and the screams continued to escape past her quivering lips

Some really face pain- unspoken, and terrible. One sending disgusting shivers down your spine. Some pain, which makes you want to shatter everything in vision, because you can't stand something perfect near your broken soul. The pain is real, and so is the agony

If you take on pain for the love of the self and others, to improve the world, to learn the ways of heroes, then you earn magic. The universe will bring magic to your soul and begin to bring the coincidences that will be as miracles to others - or the most amazing luck they've ever seen

Jess was her first in so many ways. Her first kiss, the reason she smiled. Her complexion was ashened. Her natural golden skin had sunken in tone to something so lifeless, it scared her to just to look at the flames. Her eyes close and she sucked herself into a deeper place to cope.

She had weaponised her emotional indifference, abusing rather than cherishing her loving emotions. Tears escape her eyes, running away upon her cheeks, leaving her body as if they could not bear to witness what was happening to the girl she loved

On her knees, the bright orange lights flickered in her brown eyes, reflecting a murder of the one she loved. There was nothing to compare the pain of watching the person you love, die right in front of you and not in your arms

That tight feeling in her throat from screaming and her misery. The most she could do was confess to something she held in for a long time

"I love you" Daisy's whispered

Perhaps it was the silence, the crackling of wood being burnt or the laughter of the men behind her clashing glasses and sipping on their brown liquor to celebrate their accomplishments

But Daisy heard a faint chuckle in her ear. But the girl brushed it off as her imagination

Yet it sounded so real, almost as if it was in her ear

"Boo. Bitch I'm a ghost" the same voice came again, this time it's hot breath lingered on Daisy's ear

"I can go on for days and days" Jess chuckled

Daisy turned, but too slowly to be normal. Her eyes trailed slowly, like her they were unwilling to take flight along with her heart. There was a sadness in her eyes, the brown too glossy

Her cheeks became hallowed and her eyes widened when they landed on the person standing behind her

Her limbs moved as if some inexperienced person was controlling them remotely and her eyes went wider, looking back and forth between the burning tree and the person standing behind her

Her fingers were jumping rhythmically, as if in spasm and then her legs gently folded as she subsided slowly standing to her feet ungainly as a marionette. Her bowels suddenly churned. Oh God, she prayed, she wasn't seeing a ghost. Not now. She stood there fighting the terrible loosening of her bowels, the need to vomit

"Don't panic. I'm alive but I'm dead" Jess chuckled

"Bu- you- the tre-tree and fi-"

"It's okay, take your time" Jess gave a sweet smile

"OH MY GOD" A loud voice came from behind, followed by the shattering of glasses against a few rocks

"A WITCH"

"SHE'S A WITCH" They screamed, stumbling backwards

Some men fell on their behinds, using their fingers to peel back the grass and slide them away from the girl. Their fingers trembled as well as their lips. The flickering fire reflected in their eyes but so did the girl stood stood tall with a smirk on her face

"DON'T RUN AWAY. YOU'RE MEN, ACT LIKE IT" the leader hissed at his cowards

But he couldn't bare turn his face to the girl, knowing his body was turn to mush at the sight of the supernatural woman

"WITCH" They screamed, barley picking themselves off the ground and dashing towards their horses

"Ah yes. Men and running. It's always been that way for generations. They run from their problems instead of facing it yet they say they're so strong and in control of everything. At this point, it's just humorous" Jess chuckled

Dust formed again as the stallions galloped across the land at a face pace, scampering with their owners away from the scene

Which only left their leader standing their alone. His face slowly started to fade into grey, the mind started to shut off when he realized he was alone

We tend to feel more confident when there was someone there to back us up. Someone that could defend us and take control with you. But that helplessness started to come in when he was left alone. Abandoned by the men he thought worshiped him

All because their manhood was threatened by the scene of a woman

Sure she came back from the dead but it was still a woman that made them run away

He slowly started to turn, one foot at a time. Each second that went by was his regrets. Each time his body shifted, his mind screamed for danger. For he knew it was over and so was his life

"Surprise mother fucker" Jess hissed before slamming a heavy log into the man's face at a full force

Already his eyes were swollen over and bloody spit drooled from his slack jaws. He was now as revolting as he should be, finally the outside reflects the man within

The blood didn't gush in a constant flow, but in time with the beating of his heart. At first it came thick and strong, flowing through his fingers as they clasped the ripped flesh. He felt the blood move over his hand, the thick fluid no warmer or cooler than his own skin. After a few moments more the blood was still leaving his rapidly paling flesh, but the pulses were slower, weaker

He collapsed into the ground, the blood that was once in his body was now flowing out of his crack nose and broken jaw from the harsh impact of a log

"Anyways" Jess rolled her eyes as she turned on her heels to face the girl

"Wha- stay away from me!" She hissed

"I get it. You're scared, confused. Ofcourse this era would find me a witch" Jess sighed

"What are you talking about!"

"I'm not what you think I am"

"I can clearly see that"

"Damn, you were always one with a smart mouth. I loved it" Jess chuckled

"What are you"

"I.... I'm a time traveller"

"A what!?"

"it's.. Someone that defies the laws of physics and travels through different time zones. It's harder to explain but I rather just show you" Jess said

The girl held her finger out, a pulsing shock pushed from her fingertips. Daisy's eyes widened at the strange, bright light

Within the middle of the field came a rectangular door or what looked like a door. It mirrord the landscape but slowly faded into a black box floating in the middle of the field. Daisy's heart raced in his chest as she stumbled backwards, away from the mystery object

"It's okay, you don't have to be afraid" Jess whispered

The brown hair girl glanced into those familiar, warm blue eyes and something changed. Her body seemed to react according to the smile on the girl's face. Daisy's heart slowly faded back to normal as she nodded

She watched it flicker, changing colors from amber, to ruby, then back to gold. Daisy clenched her fist, her nails digging into her palms. This wasn't supposed to happen. It was just wicked

Sorcery or magic the elders would call it. It was exactly what Jess was and she knew it

"No I'm not a witch" Jess groaned

"How did you-"

"Know that? Because I know everything there is to know about you Daisy"

"H-how"

Jess sighed before glancing over towards the brunette

"You see this?" she asked and the girl nodded in response

"Call it a portal. An entry or a door into another universe"

"But that's physically impossible"

"In this era, yes. Yes it is. But time will tell. Things are never the same. Everything there is to know right now will all be history. Generations after generations come and with each, there is discoveries. Technology comes into play, medicine exists. Eventually, we find a way to control science itself"

"So you're saying... This isn't real?"

"I'm saying everything is real. But I'm not from here, I'm from far ahead" Jess said

"But... Why.. Are you here"

"Because I love you" Jess whispered

Daisy's closed her eyes and allowed an electric feeling to flow through her body. A small flutter filled her stomach as she took a deep breath in, feeling the warmth reach her cheeks

"When I'm from... You were there. Just in another life form"

"What do you mean?"

"In this life, when we die we're reincarnated. Either into another body or we're born again. It continues generation after generation"

"...I was apart of your generation?"

"Yes. You're apart of every single one. We.. We met in every generation"

"Really?" Daisy asked

"Yes. And we fell in love in every single on" Jess chuckled

"Oh-" The brunette's cheek burned bright red as she hung her head low

Jess chuckled as she stepped closer, hooking her arms around the girl's waist and pulling her into her chest

Daisy melted into her warmth, the feeling of the girl's arms around here was enough to calm her nerves that were already scattered from the new information being pulled in. But she listened to everything Jess said without screaming, running or yelling. There was nothing to fear. She trusted Jess with everything she had in her. She fell in love and she wasn't going to lose the girl. She almost lost her once, there was no way she'd lose her again

Jess placed her chin on the top of the girl's head while her arms spread across her back, hugging her tightly

"What are we like in your generation?" Daisy whispered

"It's actually heaven. We live in this house down by a lake. You didn't want to live in a house that was big because you prefer to save the money for something else. There's a river right in front of us, every morning at 6am it's consumed by a thick fog that passes through, there's a forest over the other end of the lake. It rains everyday, the best days are waking up to you in the morning, the golden sun always reflects off your skin, you look angelic everyday and I thank the universe I even met you"

"How did we meet?"

"One day it started raining out of no where. It was a sudden storm. You worked at a radio station down town and you were carrying a mixer and a computer in your hand when the storm broke loose. You couldn't stop anywhere so you started to run. You were running in the pouring rain with a company computer"

"I have no idea what you are talking about but that sounds like I was getting myself in trouble" Daisy's giggled

"Oh you were. It just so happens that I was turning the corner and my driver spotted you. But when I first laid eyes on you.. It.. It felt like something shot at my heart and placed your name on it. I felt lost just looking at you. The way you smiled and scampered through the rain, holding the computer above your head and giggling. So I jumped out the car and ran to you with an umbrella. One thing led to another and two years later, you married me" Jess chuckled

"Married? To a woman?"

"There's nothing wrong with the way you feel. It's you. It's normal. Don't let anyone make you feel bad about knowing that you're in love" Jess whispered before her fingers brushed across the girl's cheek

"I.. I do"

"What?" Jess asked

"I do love you" Daisy's whispered

"You have no idea how in love with you I am Daisy" Jess whispered, wrapping her arms tighter around the smaller girl

A silence fell over them, one that was the most calming the happen. It was a moment they needed. A moment when you know everything was good and pure although the world was falling into chaos around you

"I have to tell you something else" She whispered

"What's that?"

"You.. You didn't make it"

"What?"

"You.... Died in my lifetime" Jess mumbled, her grip on Daisy's became tighter

"Are you okay?" the brunette whispered

"Ye-Yeah. I'm.. I'm okay"

"You don't sound okay"

"I just... I miss yo-her. Alot" Jess whispered

"How.. How did I die?"

"I rather not talk about it"

"That's okay..but.. Is that why you do this?"

"What"

"Go universe to universe, looking for me life before the day you met me"

"I just... I wanted to see you again. I needed to. But I always end up falling in love again and again everytime I see you"

"So you fell in love with me again"

"Yes. But history always has its way of messing up. The same things happen each and everytime. Some dumbass named Paul always fucks it up" Jess rolled her eyes causing the girl to chuckle

"Do I die in every timeline?"

"It's bound to happen" Jess mumbled

"So why try again.. And again?"

"Why wouldn't I try? If there was a chance I'd get to see you again, I would try and try until I bleed dry. I love you. And there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do to spend just one final moment with you"

"Even if it meant jumping through galaxies?" Daisy giggled

"Even. If it meant. Jumping through. Galaxies" Jess assured, holding the girl even tighter

That familiar silence fell over them, perhaps is was both girls taking in the moment and the realization of what was coming next. Daisy allowed everything to sink in. She always knew Jess was odd. She was far different from everyone she knew, but that didn't scare her away, it actually pulled her in even more

She didn't expect to fall for a girl, especially one that passes through different worlds

But she was still the same girl she fell in love with. And it wouldn't change

"So what happens now?" Daisy mumbled

"Now... You come with me" Jess whispered

"Come with you?"

"Come back to the future with me"

"AHHH SHIT WE NEED A PART 2" Zack yelled

"MAY WHAT THE FUCK, YOU CAN'T LEAVE A BITCH IN SUSPENSE" Luna screamed

"TELL THAT TO YOU FRIEND THE SCRIPT WRITER OVER THERE" May yelled from the front row in the middle of the movie

"MIA, YOU'RE DEAD"

"AND SO WILL THESE CHARACTERS IF YOU DARE LAY A HAND ON ME" Mia giggled

"Can we just appeared these two girls. Damn guys, that was fucking amazinggg" Dani screamed

The movies unloaded once again with their fits of whistling and thunderous applauses of appreciation towards the two girls

Autumn and Kate chuckled as they rose to their feet, taking a bow towards each section of the rows in appreactions of everyone

"I'm proud of you Kate, you've come a long way" Autumn whispered, intertwing her fingers with her girlfriend, bringing them to her lips

"I'm proud of us"
