Update : I'm still trying to tinker around with the plot and I've been having exams so I won't be able to post as much but I hope you like the content so far!

Sterling's POV
It was 6.25 am and Blair was up,in a weird outfit doing a cheerleading routine.As much as I love her effort,I would prefer my morning to start at exactly 6.30.
I have at least 5 minutes before reminding myself that I will be going back to school today,with Brian and the whole school glaring at me.
"Blair,I love you but I really need my 5 minutes alone time,if that's okay with you." I said,although my words seem to come out muffled in between the sheets.
"Okay,but promise no more sad April breakdowns today."
She sat on the side of the bed,waiting for my response.
"Twin swear."
"Twin swear."
She walked away,her footsteps receding,allowing me to go back to sleep.
"Hey Mom." I greeted her as I sat on the dining table.
"Morning Sterl." She gave me a warm smile and start placing waffles and berries on my plate.
"Mom,did you know what happened during the game last night?" Blair spoke and I just listened to her talk about lacrosse.I could never relate though.
"That's amazing,sweetie." Mom complimented Blair as she finished her story.
Dad wasn't here,he was off hunting again.I should go with him soon,once I have the free time.I want to be adeptly good at handling guns,so I can do well when we do have skips.
Once breakfast was finished,Blair and I got out of the house.She drove me to college first before she went to hers.
Blair went to the same school as Luke since both got there because of their sport scholarships.I think April is in the same college as her.
"Hey Blair,are you in the same college as April?"
I put my seatbelt on and Blair turned to me.
"Yeah....it's so weird and irritating."
"Okay...bye.See you later!" I waved Blair goodbye and head inside the building.
Weirdly,no one was glaring at me or saying anything mean at all.I guess this is where you reach the point of maturity.
I scrolled through my phone and looked through my schedule.
I have a combined humanities lecture with the sophomores first thing in the morning.I walked around the halls,and turn at different corners to find the specified room.
I turned the right corner this time and there it was.I took a seat at the very back since it was way better.
The lecture started and let me say,college is way different from high school.
Only because I came from a private religious elite school that started the day with prayers and I had Blair by my side.
And April was in the same school.I used to stare at her during Spanish classes and also Fellowship.
To admire her and her beauty.
I also think about kissing her again every time I look at her soft lips.
I'm still not sure why on earth is April at the community centre.She's a well-rounded student with admirable leadership skills and her doing community work is the last thing on her list.
How should I even talk to her?
"Psst,Sterling." I looked around to see who said that and it was Rachel.She was just behind me,and I didn't realised that.I was too busy thinking of what to say to April later on today.
"Oh hey,Rachel!" I said,and turn my to back to face her.
"How are you holding up?" She asked with a concern look.
"I'm alright...I guess.I'm just figuring out why Brian attacked me in the first place.I have to talk to him."
"I think the last time you 'talk' things out,it didn't go so well." She teased and couldn't help but smile about it.
"This lecture is getting boring.Wanna sneak out?" I looked back at my notes and I haven't even wrote anything yet.
"Don't worry,I have the notes." She held it up and passed them to me.Luckily,the lecture room was dark and I was seated way behind.
We moved swiftly out of the lecture room and burst out laughing in the empty hallways.
Our laughters subside as Brian walked out of the lecture room as well.His eyes were on me and I didn't like that.
"Brian,I need to talk to you."Â I said,looking back at Rachel.She slowly gives us space and Brian sighed.I folded my arms,hoping for him to start first.
"Look,I'm sorry that I attacked you.April and I go way back and we have history."
"I only attacked you because I remember the night after the lock in,she went to my house,crying.
It was related to you so I figured you broke her heart."
I scoffed,as I remembered vividly what happened that night.
"She dumped me.I would never break her heart." I said,sternly and he chuckled.
"I didn't know and again,I'm sorry." He held out his hand,offering his peace.
"I'm sorry that I punched you.It was...misdirected anger."Â I took his hand and shaked it.
"Your punch...is wow.Let me tell you that." I laughed and both of us started walking together with Rachel.
Surprisingly,Brian was really cool.We have so much things in common except for sour patches.
"So,you're not going to like go back with April,right? Cause I don't want her to break down."
"Ohhh...no." I trailed and part of me wants to.
Parts of me want to take her back and try again but the other wants to move on from that chapter.
"Plus,she's with Luke.You know Luke,right?" He added,as we walk to my next class.
"Yeah,of course...." I gulped and laughed nervously.
She's still with Luke.She's still with Luke.
The thought of them together gives me creeps because deep down,I know April doesn't love him.I just know.
Except when Luke loves someone,he really does with his whole heart.
Things with him were so easy.He was kind,patient and loving and he's just a soft hearted guy.
"Okayyyy,I gotta run.My coach wants me on the field.I'll see you later." He waved goodbye and starts running off.
I was standing outside the community centre,
hoping to bump into Brian.In the hopes of talking to April too.
Only to see Eric,who was holding two coffee in his hand.
"Hey Sterling." He greeted me with a smile.His smile was really attractive somehow.
"Hey Eric,how are you?" I asked,still looking out for Brian.
"I'm good.This is for you actually." He hands one of the coffee in his hand,and I took it.
"Aww,that's really sweet.Thank you." I tasted the coffee and it was a latte.
I smiled at him shyly and we held eye contact.
"Sterling!" Brian called out,breaking our eye contact and Eric exused himself.
I cleared my throat and Brian and I talked till we reached the hall.April was already there,looking through her phone.
"I'm gonna sit with April if it's fine with you."
"Oh,go ahead.." I looked around,and found Eric and sat by him.
The room was filled with unfamiliar faces and it was kind of weird.Jack,who wore a striped shirt today stepped on stage and starts doing his whole speech.
Today's task was to talk to our partners and contribute ideas for the fundraiser.That seems nice.
Although,I wouldn't know how to approach April.
She's frustrating and makes go crazy.It's so ...
I groaned in frustration and Eric turns to me.
"You don't like the idea?" He questioned and I nodded.
"Oh,hey,your ex is here." April comes to view and her cold icy glare made me shiver a little.
"Hey." I started. "Hey."
She just stood there,looking around and I didn't know what to say as well.
"This is awkward,so I'm gonna go." Eric slipped away,leaving me with her.
"Let's go to the room." She took my hand and I looked at it as sends me butterflies in my stomach.
Actually,it turned me on.
I stared at her all the way to the room and she locked the room.
"Okay...remember what happened the last time you did that?" I joked but her expression didn't waver.I cleared my throat and look away.
"So,would you like to start or should I?" I asked.
"I'll start." She spoke and went behind the desk,to get a piece of paper and pen.
"I was thinking that it'd really be a fundraiser if ..." She started.I just nodded my head.
She continues talking,but I was mostly staring at her pink soft lips.
"Uh huh..." I replied and she wrote down a bunch of things down.I just mostly agree with what she have to say since she usually give good ideas.
We continued discussing and by then,an hour went by.
"Okay,I think that's all.We're pretty much done." She placed the paper down and looks at me.
"That's good." I smiled a little,and I could see it in her eyes that she wanted to talk.
"So you're with Luke,huh?"
"Yeah...apparently you're right.He is kind,caring and loving." She smiled as he talked about him.It kinda makes me sad.
I was supposed to be the one making her smile.
"How about you? You and Eric?" She mentioned,wiggling her eyebrows and I scoff a little.
"What,no!" I replied back and both of us laugh.Our eyes locked and it was always comforting to look into her eyes when she's not glaring at you.
"I miss you." I said,taking her hands.She didn't move away so I continued.
"Don't you miss us?" She bit her lips and look me in the eye.
"Of course,Sterl but it's...we just can't." She remove her hands away from mine,and I sighed.
"So what? We're continue being enemies."
"Maybe not enemies but strangers with a complicated history." She suggested and I guess it's better than having the need to bring her down to prove our relationship of being enemies.
"So why are you here?" She asked,and I thought she knew by now.
"I punched someone.Well,I punched your friend,Brian." She went speechless and by the looks of it,she was taken by surprise.
"Well...I didn't know you could give much of a fight." April teased and I rolled my eyes.
"Since you're not telling why you're here,how long will you be here for?" I asked,making sure she doesn't push me away again.
"For a year." She said and I think this time,I was taken by surprise.
