Chapter 100 Deployment Of Rescue Plan

Mary recounted the incident. When Helena heard that Peyton had also jumped onto the speedboat,

she instinctively wanted to blame Peyton.

“I told you Peyton had malicious intentions, she must have had someone kidnap our child! Nolan, you

must rescue Chris!”

Nolan angrily wanted to tear Helena’s mouth apart, but he didn’t have the habit of hitting women.

He thought, “Helena is really foolish to say such outrageous things.”

He suppressed his anger and said, “Take Helena out.”

Lucian had already begun investigating the abduction of Chris. When Nolan saw the surveillance video

of Peyton chasing after the criminals without hesitation, his heart was once again touched.

Nolan thought, “If Peyton wanted to harm Chris, she would have acted when they were on the top deck

of the cruise ship just now. But she didn’t.”

She really loved Chris, even though she knew the criminals had guns, she still went after them.

Lucian was very worried and he lowered his voice, saying, “Mr. Dalton, your identity was exposed,

that’s why the criminals kidnapped Chris to threaten you, isn’t it?”

Nolan pursed his lips, looking intimidating.

He denied, “It’s impossible.”

Nolan extracted the footage from the surveillance video showing the criminals firing their guns. Despite

the fact that these men had all disguised themselves, their identities were revealed by the handguns.

Nolan zoomed in on the screen and said, “You see, the criminals were using the MK23 model of

handguns. These handguns were used by special forces in the early years, and they had overwhelming

firepower. However, they were too large in size and not convenient for single- handed shooting. Special

forces nowadays would not choose such a bulky and outdated weapon.”

“And the actions of these two men fleeing were not well–trained, so it is impossible for them to be

special forces. If they were special forces, they would have threatened the lives of everyone on board,

not just Chris.”

Lucian couldn’t understand, “If it wasn’t for the special forces, who else would dare to oppose the

Dalton family?”

Nolan stood with his hands behind his back, gazing at the distant sea and said, “Those men exerted a

great deal of effort to oppose the Dalton family. Since it wasn’t for killing, it must have been for money.”

“That makes sense. For this birthday banquet, Ms. Chase sent out quite a few promotional press

releases, emphasizing the extravagant fireworks feast that cost millions. It was inevitable that someone

would take a risk and attempt to kidnap Chris.”

Lucian sighed, “Ms. Chase announced the details of the birthday banquet, and it was originally our

responsibility to handle the security work. However, Ms. Chase insisted on entrusting it to her uncle. If

were abducted.”

When Peyton was mentioned, Nolan frowned and said, “If those criminals were only after money, then

they wouldn’t harm Chris for

now, but Peyton would be in danger.”

The criminals obviously came prepared. Unlike on land, there aren’t many surveillance cameras at sea.

There is no cellphone signal even on the sea, let alone finding two people.

Nolan was worried that the criminals would choose uninhabited islands, making the investigation even

more difficult.

In the next two hours, he made many phone calls and set up the rescue plan.

Having done all this, Nolan couldn’t relax and was still worried.

Nolan thought, “Young Chris had never been away from his family,
