Chapter 96 Elsa Sparkles
William took Elsa into the shop, and the retail assistant greeted them politely, asking them what they would need.
âCan you show her some dresses, and then the accessories?â
The retail assistant smiled. âYou came at a good time, sir. We just restocked on a reârelease of past styles. Would you care to have a look?â
âSure.â
They walked to the cabinets, where a ton of dresses were on display. All were beautiful, but William hadnât the faintest idea about fashion, so he left the choice to Elsa.
It was then a woman and a bald man came in. The man was about thirty years old, and he was wearing a gaudy, shortâsleeved shirt and a pair of slippers. The woman was about Elsaâs age. She was beautiful and slim, but she couldnât hold a candle to Elsa.
The woman noticed Elsa, and she paused for a moment, then she looked at William. William didnât much care about fashion, so all he wore were cheap clothes. A smirk curled the womanâs lips. âWell, if it isnât the school madonna. Here to get some new clothes?â
The look on Elsaâs face changed when she saw that woman, and she stared at the ground. Just checking things out.â
âReally?â The woman nodded. âTrue. You canât afford anything in this shop anyway.â
William frowned. Now thatâs just rude. He said coolly, âWatch your tongue.â
The bald man shot William a look. âYou watch your tongue. Scare her, and my men are going to whoop your ss.â
Birds of a feather, huh? William shot him an icy look. âYour threats wonât work on me, chump, so save it.â
âChump? Oh, you really donât know who I am, huh?â The man sneered. âDo you know who I work with? Buffalo, thatâs who. He works for Kane. And do you know who Kaneis? Heâs lord of the underbelly of Justford.â
William ignored him and pointed at a nice dress. âIâll take that.â
The retail assistant smiled. âNice choice, sir. This is a classic, and its name is Rose. This is the only one we have in our shop.
The dress showed off one of its wearerâs shoulders, and it was pinkâelegant, beautiful, and perfect for Elsa.
The woman sneered. âYou canât afford that dress. Stop embarrassing yourself and leave. She approached the display cabinet and stared at the dress, then she held the bald manâs arm. âLaw, I really like this. Can you buy it for me?â
Law chortled and looked at the price tag. Thirteen grand and five hundred? He cleared his throat. âUm, this doesnât suit you, babe. Letâs get another one.â

William ignored them and told the retail assistant, âPack this up for us.â
The man called Law felt embarrassed, and he roared, âYou wanna get dunked, punk?â
âPiss off. Youâre getting in my way.â William was getting impatient.
Law roared, âDamn you!â
He charged at William, but all William did was wave his hand, and Law fell, pain coursing through his veins. His face turned pale and he shivered. With fear in his eyes, he stared at William. That was like magic.
âSit for a bit.â
Law gritted his teeth. âIâm calling my boss. Heâs a fighter. Youâre done for
âCall him, then.â
Scared, the woman quickly helped Law get up, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldnât pull him up. Meanwhile, Law was already making a call.
The retail assistant was surprised as well. She quickly took the dress and helped Elsa change into it.
When Elsa came back out, William was floored by how beautiful she was, Elsa looked just like a blooming roseâbeautiful, charming, and elegant. Her legs alone captivated him, and she was like a star compared to her friend. William nodded. âThis is perfect. Weâll take it.â
The retail assistant smiled. âCash or card, sir?â
William handed her the platinum card. âIâll be using this.â
The retail assistant paused for a moment. âIs that a credit card, sir?â
William said, âItâs a VIP card for this shop. There should be some money in it
The retail assistant shook her head. âSorry, but we donât have this kind of system. Are you sure this is the right one?â
William was surprised the retail assistant didnât know about this.
The woman mocked, âHah, caught you in 4K. Knew you couldnât afford it, punk.â
Law laughed as well. âHah, thatâs what you get, punk. Now everyone knows youâre a loser.â He leered at Elsa. Compared to his girlfriend, Elsa was a lot more beautiful. More importantly, she was a lot hotter than his girlfriend. Any man would kill to have Elsa.
Another staff member was alerted to the commotion, and she quickly approached the scene. âWhat seems to be the matter?â
The retail assistant handed her the platinum card. âMaâam, this customer said this is a VIP card, but I donât think we ever gave anyone this card before.â
The moment she saw that card, the manager paled. She took it from the retail assistant and had a closer look, then she bowed. âI am very sorry, sir. Sheâs new, so she has no idea about this card. On behalf of the store, I humbly apologize for my oversight.â

William didnât think much about it. âItâs alright. Just get it over with.â
The manager carefully went to the counter and touched a machine with the card, then the balance was shown on the screen.
The retail assistant was surprised to see her manager looking so solemn, so she checked out the balance as well, and there were a lot of zeros. Fifteen million!
The manager swiped the card and handed it back to William with both hands. âDo you need anything else,
sir
William looked around. âEh, weâll check out other shops,â
Law quickly shouted, âYouâd better not run if youâre a man!â
The woman screeched, âYeah, you just assaulted someone.â
William asked, âYou know that wench, Elsa?â
Elsa muttered, âSheâs a classmate of mine called Fanny. She and the other girls used to bully me because Iâm poor.
A group of men charged into the shop, and the one in the lead was a man in his forties with a scar on his face. Coldly, he asked, âWhat happened here, Lawt
Law pointed at William. That kidâs a fighter, boss. He hit me and my girl⦠The sentence was never finished. For some reason, Lawâs boss went pale with horror. He had only seen his boss trembling in fear once, and that was when Kane yelled at him. Shocked, he turned his attention to William, and a bad feeling welled up within him. It canât beâ¦
