Before Sandhya could reach there, Meenakshi called the people to explain clearly that a woman named Sandhya would be coming and will take care of all the affairs.”As soon as Sandhya reached there, “Please come, Madam,” everyone welcomed her with so much respect. Sandhya felt like she stepped into a new world. The place was filled with diverse and colorful plants and was it was all very beautiful. It was such a peaceful environment. “Shashi genuinely blessed me by showing this place. This is so beautiful!” she thought and involved in all the work. Meanwhile, her mobile came to life.The call was from America. Sandhya picked up the phone in excitement and from the other side, the voice said, “Mom!”. Sandhya heart skipped for a second. She started crying, “Maggie, My baby, how are you?” asked she with lot of love.Maggie was smiling, “I’m good. I’m not causing any trouble, don’t cry, Mom!” she said, by understanding that her mom was crying. She knows the reasons behind her mom’s sorrow as the daughter was looking at her mother’s tears since she was a child.Sandhya wiped her tears,  “No dear, I’m not crying. By the way, give the phone to Grandma,” asked she. Parvathi held the phone, “We reached safely, Sandhya. Your mother-in-law made all the necessary arrangements. Everything for the girl’s treatment is ready. You don’t worry, everything is happening just perfectly. I’m hanging up now, I’ll call you tonight. It is night here, I’ll put the girl to sleep.”Sandhya came to senses that it was night, “Okay Auntie, My thoughts are all over there, please take care. Maggie, sleep dear.”“Okay mom, Good night, Bye,” she said and disconnected the call. Sandhya felt alive. “Thank god!” she  thought and spent the time peacefully gardening.Ravi, Surya's bestfriend, worked in the same office. Ravi has admiration for Surya. But he wasn’t able to bare it when Surya got married without proper intentions. He was worried about Surya’s marriage life but he felt relieved now. “Thank god!” he thought, looking at Surya who was working peacefully on his computer. He went to Surya and sat beside him,  “Surya, are you okay?” asked he with a dubious face.Surya smiled gently and said, “Yeah, I’m fine. I have to tell you something. I wrote a letter to that woman. I told her to stay away from me and I married her only for the sake of my mother. I told her clearly that I never liked the idea of marriage and we have to act as a couple for a year and I will divorce her later. I reassuringly told her to never try to get close to me. She is to stay away from me and I’m definitely going to divorce her. I feel so peaceful now.”Ravi was slightly worried and doubted, “Oh, I see, but isn’t it wrong to talk to her like that?”Surya looked irritated, “You don’t have to stand up for her, I’m feeling frustrated. You know how much I respect women in general. But she is not worthy of respect, she is just a gold digger. Dude, she has a daughter, she is just a baby. She sent her away just because mother asked her to do so. Atrocious! That’s the reason I warned her fiercely. I will think about her daughter and give her some money after the divorce. Leave the topic for now. I have a lot of work to do,”  he said and dived into work.Ravi was thinking, “Is Surya right? Whatever, he is happy now, that is enough. I thought you will be affected by this marriage and it worried me,”  he said and continued to work.Surya came home for lunch after so many days. Shashikala observed him coming, "Brother? It’s surprising that you came home for lunch after so many days, come.”Sombabu was serving food to Surya. Surya looked at his sister, "Did Mother have her lunch?”“Yeah, just now. She had her medicine and went to her room” she replied.“Okay.”Surya tasted the food and he understood the difference of the taste immediately. He didn’t like it. Surya irritatingly looked at Sombabu,"What is this, Uncle? The food? You cooked deliciously in the morning and what happened now. In fact, I came home for lunch because I liked the taste of the food in the morning. I don’t like this”“Babu, I didn’t cook food in the morning, it was cooked by Sandhya madam,” he said frightened.Surya was surprised, “Madam? Who is she?”Shashikala interfered and said, "Surya, the new woman entered our home, she is the one.”Surya frustratedly looked at her. He didn’t like it. The situation indirectly turned into something where he praised her and her cooking skills.Surya yelled at his sister, “Why did she cook? And above that, why did you serve me the food that was cooked by her?”She surprisingly looked at him, “What are you talking, brother? Do we not have to make her do any household chores? She is no Princess, let her do the household chores and I planned something to not let her stay home all day.”“Whatever, do as you wish. I have a lot of work, I’m leaving,” he said and left he without eating the lunch properly.Shashikala observed that her brother didn’t eat the food properly and decided to make Sandhya cook everyday.
