Darkness prevailed at Surya’s home. Ravi was tensed about Surya and Sandhya, “What might be Arun’s demands?” he questioned himself.On the other hand, Sandhya’s mother was weeping all day and was worried about her daughter. There was chaos all over the place.After a while, Surya reached the bungalow and everyone surrounded him. Ravi questioned him, “Where the hell were you all this while? Did you know where Sandhya is?”“Calm down, dude! Why do you seem in a hurry?” he said.“What the hell are you talking about, dude? Sandhya had been missing for so long and you were gone. We wanted to complain to the police but withdrew because we are afraid that he might harm Sandhya!”Surya smiled half-heartedly and said, “There’s nothing to worry about, dude. Sandhya will be home soon.”“How do you know that, Surya?”Surya chose to remain calm.“Tell me, Surya? How can you be so sure?”“Ravi, I can’t talk. My throat’s dried up. I need water!” muttered Surya.Everyone's hearts seemed to crack looking at Surya being vulnerable, especially Meenakshi. Rona grabbed a water bottle and handed it to Surya. Surya gulped a couple of ounces of water.All of a sudden, The Police arrived at the scene. Everyone looked at them and thought that they came to rescue Sandhya but in fact, they came to arrest Surya.The Police said, “Mr. Surya, we need to arrest you, please cooperate with us!”Everyone was flabbergasted.“What are you saying? Why are you arresting Surya?”The S.I eyed Surya and signaled him to come along. Surya rose from the chair and started to walk along with them. Ravi screamed, “Stop it! What the hell is going on? Why are you arresting him?”Meenakshi held Surya’s hand and said, “Son, what’s happening? Why are they arresting you?”The SI said, “We have orders to arrest him! Clear the way.”“Surya? Why are you not talking? What’s happening, Surya?” Ravi pleaded.“Mr Surya has been charged with a cheating case. All of his tenders were bought illegally. He agreed to it by signing the documents! Surya, let's go”“No way! Surya is not a fraud. Who the hell complained about it?” questioned Ravi.“Arun Industries owner, Arun!” said the SI.Ravi understood the situation, “How the hell would you believe him and arrest my friend?”“There’s proper evidence for it and we are doing what we need to!” said SI.“Surya, please open up. Tell them you didn’t do it, please,” begged Ravi.“I agree that I have committed treachery!” said Surya. Everyone was shocked.“You heard it!” said SI and took Surya out.Ravi felt extremely sad and said, “I and Venkatesh uncle will go and find out what actually happened!” and both of them left. Rona was trying to instill confidence in all of them.Ravi went to Prasad and warned the life out of him, “Tell me, what is Arun’s plan? Or I will make sure you suffer every day!”Prasad started spilling the truth and said, “Arun wanted to take revenge on Surya by kidnapping his wife. Surya Sir signed the documents to the terms and conditions of Arun so that he can save Sandhya. Arun wants Surya to demolish his career.”Ravi understood Arun’s intentions, held Prasad’s collar and screamed, “Where is Sandhya? Where did he hide her?”“I honestly don’t know about this! He kept it confidential! But I’m pretty sure she is safe.” said Prasad.Sandhya was staring at the screen in the hope that Surya might talk again but he didn’t. She was reminded of Surya’s words asking her to take care of herself. She rose and walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge to find vegetables, fruits, and milk. She put the milk on the stove and heated it. She poured the milk into a glass cup, walked to the screen and consumed the milk looking at the screen.At around 1 at night, someone walked to Surya’s cell where he was locked up and said something to him. Surya was raged up for a while and felt happy the next second.On the other hand, Arun was happy that he wounded Surya, “This is it! I’m gonna acquire his company, collapse his life. This is what I wanted. He will be behind bars for the rest of his life.”Prasad asked, “Sir, as you are gonna achieve what you wished for, are you gonna let Sandhya go?” Arun smirked and said, “Hahaha! Why would I let her go when he is behind the bars? She is such a beauty and she is going to be a hostage for the rest of her life!”Arun was delusional that he is right but failed to realize that even the smartest man will commit a mistake at one point or another.
