The calling bell rang. Ravi wondered who it might be and opened the door to find Surya with luggage.“Surya, What’s wrong dude?” he enquired hurriedly.“Will you let me in?” he said and dragged Ravi inside as he walked in.Ravi walked behind him, “Surya, what happened?’“Ravi, I will stay here for another 10 days. Is that fine for you?’“What the hell are you saying, man? Stay as long as you want! But tell me what happened?”He explained everything that happened the previous night.“Ravi, I’m not able to understand something. Why did she have to send her daughter away? I want to know everything about her and I don’t want her to know who I am. Till then, I’m going to stay here. She might know who I am if I am there,” and as he continued to say, “You were with her all these days, has she not seen you?”“It’s different now. Now that I know who she is, I can’t be myself around her”“Okay Surya, I have something on my mind.”“What is it?”“We might not know if we enquire Sandhya’s side of the family about her. And that’s the reason I will go to her in-law’s village and enquire about her.”“What? You will go?”“Yeah. Stay relaxed, I will take care of it.”“Dude, you might be in some sort of difficulty”“Not at all. Tell me something, if I get to know Sandhya is a woman of values and is an honest person, will you accept her?”“I love her. If we get to know who she honestly is, I will let her take the decision. If she wants to be with me, I will treasure her in my heart!”“If I get to know that she is here for money, I won’t even care her for the rest of my life. I will divorce her after a year.”“Okay Surya, everything will be alright. Don’t worry. I will be back in 2 days,” he said and started his journey in the car. Surya dozed off on the sofa.As soon as Sandhya woke up, she felt something strange as there were some things missing in the room and a couple of files, a laptop was missing from the cupboard. She gave it a thought and then realized it was none of her business, finished her shower, and walked into the prayer room.Sandhya was the one who does the prayer every day but to her surprise, it was Meenakshi today. Sandhya was slightly dreaded, “Auntie, Am I late for the prayer today?”“No dear. Surya went to Mumbai due to some office work and will stay there for the next 10 days. I couldn't sleep yesterday. I’m praying to God for his well-being and safety!”Sandhya thought to herself, “Thank god! I can be peaceful,” and said, “Okay Auntie, I will go work in the kitchen,” and she left.Meenakshi was meditating. Sandhya left to the garden after finishing her work.With in minutes she left, Surya dialed Shashikala and she said, “Surya, you haven’t told me that you were going to Mumbai?”“Sister, I didn’t have the chance to inform you, Sorry. Take care of mom and make sure she consumes her medicine on time.”“Yeah, I will take care of it.”Surya wanted to know whereabouts of Sandhya, “By the way, if you don’t have time, use the one who is doing nothing at home.”“Who are you talking about? Sandhya? Why would she be at home? She goes to the garden, takes care of the work there, and returns home by Sunset”Surya's ears were satisfied, “Ohh! I see, Okay, take care of mom, bye.”“Sure, brother. Don’t worry, I will take care of her,” and she hung up.Surya was perplexed, “The Garden is far away from the bungalow, why would she walk without using the car? I have to meet her to get rid of this confusion,” and he reached the garden.The security guard saluted Surya as soon as he looked at him. Surya was tensed as Sandhya might see him but she was somewhere inside the garden. He looked at the guard, “I came here for flowers, not for the salute, you got it?” he said and gave him 1000 rupees and walked in and the guard thought, “Surya sir is so kind! He fulfils our needs even if we don’t convey them.”He looked in the surroundings for Sandhya and she was making sure the workers are taking care of the plants.Surya was a bit anxious and walked to her cautiously. He said, “Hello Sandhya! Finally, you are here?” as if he looked at her for the first time. Sandhya came to her senses and looked at him, surprised, “I have to ask the same. Why are you in here?”He fumbled for a second, “I told you, right? That I’m in love with a girl and I need flowers to gift her. That’s the reason I’m here. By the way, what do you do in here?”“This is my work.”“Well then, I need some flowers.”She smiled gently and said, “yes” and she continued, “Flowers for a girl? Are you in love?”“Yes! But I didn’t propose to her.”“I see! But no point in feeling disappointed. If your love is pure at heart, it will definitely come out with flying colors!”“Thank you so much. Sandhya, Can I consider you my friend?”Sandhya found him very innocent and seemed like a gentleman, “Definitely! By the way, you are?”He fumbled again and thought to himself, “She might doubt me if I tell her that I’m Surya,” he thought for a while and said, “Karthik!”“Okay Karthik, these are the flowers you asked for,” she said, giving him a couple of packed flowers.“Sandhya, don’t mind me asking something!”“Go ahead”“What’s your take on Love?”She smiled gently, “I’m not aware of how to love or how to feel loved, How can I talk about it?” fumbled she and asked, diverting the topic, “Do you need more flowers?”Surya's heart was heavy for a moment but didn’t let it affect his expression, “I’m good. See you Sandhya. I will come here and give you updates about my love life and make sure you feel irritated about it, lol”Sandhya smiled at it, “ Definitely, I will be waiting!”“I’ll make a move now. I might be coming tomorrow. Be ready,” he said and walked away.Sandhya smiled and thought to herself, “He’s a naughty guy. He probably irritates her a lot.”Surya exited and dialed Ravi and informed everything.Surya wasn’t able to diagnose the sentence, “I’m not aware of how to love or how to feel loved!”Ravi said, “Surya, don’t worry. I’m at the work here and it will take a while for me. You must go to the office and work for some time, you might feel diverted,” and he hung up. Surya started his journey to the office.
