⢠but she grew up and so did her beliefs
⢠you were different to Nat so she tried for you
⢠Nat was the one who wanted to meet your parents
⢠so today at 7 she was coming over for dinner
⢠you were nervous and Nat seemed to be fine
⢠of course you didn't know that she was freaking out on the inside
⢠she's never done this before after all
⢠your mother took a liking to her fast
⢠your father gave her a hard time throughout dinner
⢠of course you tried to get him to lay off
⢠he didn't
⢠your mother told embarrassing stories of you to Nat to try and balance it out
⢠you got embarrassed and tried to get her to stop
⢠she didn't until after she showed your baby pictures
⢠Nat was going to tease you about those later
⢠eventually your father warmed up to Nat and said she was good for you
⢠it made you happy and you could tell it made Nat happy
⢠by the end of dinner they loved her so much they gave her their blessing for the future
⢠both of you were shocked
⢠Nat thanked them and told you at the end of the dinner that she was terrified
⢠both of you watched movies in your room that night
⢠with the door cracked three inches per your fathers request
⢠Nat came over to your house a lot
⢠she had a good relationship with your parents so when you weren't home she hung out with them sometimes
⢠you were positive they liked her more than you
⢠of course they said they didn't but you were sure they were lying
