Nats been gone for a long time. Mission after mission and the only time I get to see her is when she's saying a brief goodbye and then she's off again. This is her fourth three month long mission and I've held myself up in the studio working on my new album. People say our relationship wasn't going to work and even if it did, it wouldn't last long. Maybe they were right. But it was in my nature to at least try. So we did and then somehow along the way I stopped caring where she was at this time. Of course I'd be heartbroken if something happened to her, but why was she on so many missions? She wasn't the only one in the avengers.

My phone pinged and I got a message from Wanda and Carol, them telling me how hot I was and I just shook my head with a smile. Before Nat went on missions all the time, she made me feel good about myself and now that she's been gone, I've had to learn how to feel good about myself on my own. It still felt good to get compliments from people and I was glad I had best friends to hype me up.
