Previously on When Hatred Becomes Compulsory.....
"I'd love to."
"Then we can start tomorrow?"
"Make yourself comfortable."
"Although you guys are delicious, I know I can hardly wait to kill you all. Please make yourselves comfortable."
-----------------------------------------------
"What?" The emperor asked with disdain.
Yu Sifeng gave him the middle finger in his heart before shaking his head. "Nothing."
He plopped unto a chair in the far corner of the room, and gazed at the stars outside from the large window.
"What are you doing?" Han Jun asked when he found out that Sifeng didn't pick any books.
"Stargazing," he replied softly. The room was silent except for the rustling of paper, and the clangs of scrolls.
"Han Jun...." Sifeng called absentmindedly.
Han Jun raised his head to look at Sifeng. The latter was also staring at him.
"What?" He asked.
"I may be a consort," he started. "But, it doesn't mean I don't know what is going on in the kingdom."
"What do you mean?" Han Jun asked with an innocent look on his face. Sifeng gave him the 'stink eye' before turning his attention back to the stars.
"You massacred my family on the night of the sixth day of the sixth month. I don't hold a grudge against you. All I want to do is to see you in pain like how my parents were before they died."
Han Jun at first didn't get what Sifeng was trying to say until Sifeng said, "Mark my words, you die die in peace."
It all made sense now. Before Yu Sifeng of the modern world mistakenly entered the time portal, the emperor burnt down the manor with his parents in it.
When they tried escaping from the fire, he massacred them. The real Sifeng had no idea about it.
But, after the replica from the modern world arrived, everything changed.
Three days after he had arrived in the old Sifeng's body, an old book opened in his mind. Originally, this world was following a book.
After Sifeng's arrival in the past, and also with the help of his book, he was able to predict the future.
His thinking was like that of a scientist, and he knew when to take action.
The emperor didn't say anything, and just looked at Sifeng's back. His eyes showed complexity, and it looked like he was fighting hard to say something.
With the excuse of stargazing, Sifeng opened the book in his mind, and went through the pages.
There was originally a minister who was in love with the old Sifeng, and Sifeng's father had approved of it. The new Sifeng had stayed in the palace for almost two months now, why hasn't he seen any minister.
Just then there was a repeated knock on the door. Sifeng at first didn't hear it, cuz he was so immersed in reading the book, and guessing if his arrival caused some butterfly effects.
The emperor was a little mad. Did Sifeng expect him to open the door? The consort was supposed to welcome the guest, right?
"Come in," the emperor said, and a young man walked in.
"Your Majesty."
