Chapter 1238: Defensive Positions

Archer was standing on the western wall as the 1st, 2nd, 10th and 13th Legions were forming up outside. While doing that, he watched half the Broodmaws return, and the leader climbed up the fortifications.
It stopped next to him and lowered its head as a man's head echoed in his mind, 'There are many enemies ahead Master but they're hiding in castles, towns and city's.'
"Okay, follow the armies while they are marching but keep out of sight of anyone," he replied to the Broodmaw Leader.
'Yes Master,' it answered. 'Can you bring some more of my kind out?'
Archer nodded in agreement, his grin widening as thousands of mantis-like monsters emerged from the shimmering violet portals. The creatures moved with precision, assembling into disciplined ranks behind the legions like a well-drilled army.
'Let's bring out some more beasts to surprise the ambushers,' he thought with an excited gleam in his eyes.
Seconds later, horrifying ten meter long worms with serrated plates all over the bodies burrowed into the ground and hid below the legions. While watching this, Ari spoke with a wicked smile, "I see what you're doing handsome, so devious, but I love it."'
Archer started laughing as hundreds of Voidworms readied themselves to attack any enemy he pointed out. Once that was finished, he turned to the beautiful white-haired woman and spoke, "Stay with me today Ari, I want to spend the night with you."
When she heard this, her cheeks went red, but she nodded with a big smile, "I would love that."
Elara, Teuila, Sia, Talila, Sera, and Ashoka approached, now proudly leading the 13th Legion. Teuila and Sera had even brought the 15th and 16th legions from Draconia to join the invasion, much to his surprise.
The six women greeted Archer warmly, showering him with kisses and affectionate embraces. The redheaded dragon grinned with excitement, her eyes gleaming as she declared, "I'm leading the charge, sweetheart! Just wait and see how savage my soldiers are!"
Archer chuckled, but Teuila, ever the voice of caution, sighed and added, "She's been drilling them nonstop. The poor Draconians have turned into warrior versions of this gremlin, absolutely relentless at driving their enemies mad."@@novelbin@@
Everyone burst into laughter as Sera crossed her arms and huffed before snapping at the blue- haired woman. "Shut up, bitch. At least my soldiers aren't statues."'
Teuila smirked, unfazed. "They're well-trained and proud of it," she shot back, pushing the animated dragon woman away as she bounced around energetically. "Unlike you, they know how to stand still for more than two seconds."
Archer chuckled at their banter before addressing the group with a commanding tone. ''Seraphina will lead the vanguard with the 16th Legion," he began, his gaze sweeping across the others.
"Elara and Ashoka will follow close behind. Talila, you're next in line, while Teuila and Sia will hold the rear with her mobile legion," he finished.
The women agreed with nods before going to tend to their legions as Sera jumped from the wall as she shouted, "16th! Get ready to move out and let's kill some Alliance soldiers."
icy grip of fear.
That's when the woodland erupted into chaos as he watched the attackers move with horrifying speed, their serrated limbs slicing through armor and flesh as if they were paper. Screams of pain and terror filled the air, mingling with the unholy screeches of the invaders.
Solvyr fought desperately, flames erupting from his blade as he cut down one monster, but for every one he killed, three more seemed to take its place. The Fire Elves' disciplined ranks crumbled under the onslaught.
Just when it seemed the nightmare couldn't grow worse, the ground beneath their feet shook violently. A deep, guttural rumbling filled the air, vibrating through his very bones as
everything was trembling.
'What's going on? Is the world angry with us?' he thought while glancing around in confusion. Before anyone could react, the earth split open with a deafening roar, and monstrous, worm- like creatures burst forth. These abominations were grotesque, their bloated, segmented bodies writhing with sickly, pulsating veins that glowed faintly in the darkness.
Rows of jagged teeth lined their jaws, and they emitted a nauseating stench of decay as they lunged toward the Fire Elves. One worm coiled around a soldier, its teeth sinking into his torso as it dragged him screaming into the ground.
Another worm erupted nearby, swallowing an entire group of elves in one sudden motion, their fiery auras snuffed out like candles in the wind. "Hold the line!" Solvyr bellowed, his
voice raw with desperation.
Flames erupted around him as the Fire Elves fought valiantly, their magic scorching the air and burning the ground. Yet, no matter how fiercely they resisted, the monsters were
relentless.
The mantis-like creatures darted through the chaos, tearing apart anything in their path, while the worms continued their gruesome feast, pulling the soldiers into the abyss with
horrifying ease.
His heart sank as he saw Tevran, one of his trusted lieutenants, ripped apart by a mantis- creature just as a worm erupted from the ground to devour the remains. Blood and gore painted the battlefield.
As the monsters closed in, he stood his ground, his fiery aura blazing brighter than ever. "We fight until the end!" he roared, swinging his blade with furious strength. Seconds later, Solvyr's eyes widened as a towering creature emerged from the chaos, dwarfing
all the surrounding others. Its massive, scythe-like blades dripped with the blood of his kin.
With each deliberate step, the ground seemed to quake beneath its monstrous weight. The creature instantly cut down any warrior who approached, tearing their bodies apart with relentless, merciless strikes.
