Kaira's POV:
I got ready in my normal attire, a black hoodie and black pants.
Today, was holiday of the school which I was not at all thankful about.
I was not hungry so I stayed in my room.
I started working on my mission.
I will destroy everyone at that school, torture them that they beg to die.
My room's door knocked.
I didn't replied or opened.
" Tesoro!"
" Happy Birthday!"
" Tesoro, I am sorry, please forgive me. See I bought you a very beautiful gift."
I didn't reply.
" Okay, I am going. Atleast see my gift, I am keeping it here only."
After 5 minutes, I opened the door and saw a box wrapped in a gift wrap.
I opened the gift and saw a photo frame with the photo of him and me.
I didn't even realise when he took a photo of us but it was really beautiful because I was smiling in it and I rarely smile.
I went back to my room.
I spent the whole morning in my room looking outside of the window.
There was knock on my door.
" Ma'am, please come downstairs for Lunch."
I had no wish to go downstairs but I had to, because I don't wanna be hungry on my birthday.
I opened my door and went downstairs.
I saw Aria dancing their wearing a beautiful pink long dress, everyone was smiling looking at her.
She forwarded her hand to Valentino and he took it and they started dancing together.
I ignored all of them and went straight into the kitchen.
I started making a sandwich for myself.
When I made my sandwich, and sat on the counter.
I saw everyone's eyes on me which I ignored and ate my sandwich.
After having sandwich, I started going upstairs when Lorenzo spoke.
" Kaira, come sit with us."
" No thanks." I came to my room and locked it.
After that my door knocked many times, maids telling me to come down but I refused to come down.
As said, my dress and all the stuff had came. I got ready and threw my heels to the garden from my room window.
I slowly came down with the help of curtains and wore my heels.
I looked at my mansion which was decorated like a ball.
I had worn my mask.
I was late for the party and I love coming late.
I opened the door and as I opened the door all eyes came on me.
I walked with my glory, after all I am Leonessa.
(A/N: I couldn't get the dress photo but just imagine her wearing, a black sleeveless bodycon dress with maroon colour patches on it, attached with a black net on her whole dress which is also covering her sleeves and neck. Paired with ruby earings, 2-inch black heels, and open hair. On top of it, she had done that typical mafia queen makeup.)
As I entered I saw, that I have stole all the attention from the birthday princess, Aira.
Why not? Because people know they can't have Aira, due to her being DeLuca, before anyone can even think they will bury them 10 feet underground and second everyone here need me to join them.
As I entered Robert DeLuca, my dad, came towards me.
He looked ruthless and cold unlike how he looks at home, this is his real face after all he is the ex-capo of Italian Mafia.
" Pleasure to meet you, Leonessa." His voice represented his expressionless face.
I nodded to him which seem to anger him but he kept his straight look. In Mafia's, you need to speak, if you nod, it makes them feel you are ignoring them.
" Enjoy the party." With that he went.
I scanned the area and saw my faces who were looking at me but one face same to attract me with those emerald eyes, which were not looking at me. Like they were finding someone.
His whole table was empty and he was the only one sitting there.
My legs automatically went there, I took a seat next to his chair.
His eyes turned to me, like asking what I wanted.
But I didn't say anything and looked in front, he also dropped the topic.
The dance started with Dad dancing with Aria first then, Lorenzo danced with her like this everyone danced with her except Antonio who was too small for her to dance with.
Many males tried to come my way but my glare was enough to not make them ask me.
Finally, I saw Aria coming to Alessio after dancing with all the men in family.
" Alessio, will you dance with me?" I analysed her face.
Those dreamy eyes. Those pink cheeks. That glow on her face. That told all it needed to tell that she likes him.
My eyes also analysed Alessio, who was trying to make a decision, it was clearly visible he didn't wanted to dance with her, any guy would jump to take this opportunity but he took a minute means he was not but it was her birthday so he didn't wanted to make her sad.
He finally decided to dance with her. While, they were dancing. I could see Alessio's eyes searching for someone. Suddenly he said something which made all the blush, hope and excitement of Aria's face go and now she was just dancing for the sake.
Let me guess.
He asked about me. Most probably that's the reason as his eyes were again and again going to the stairs, almost not believing that they didn't include their second daughter on her own birthday.
Mostly no one knows about me, I am a secret.
A guy came to me, kept a glass of wine in front of me and sat beside me.
" How can a beautiful lady like you sit alone?"
Didn't he got the basic idea, I was not interested in any type of talk.
" As you are in no mood to talk about this, let's come on the main point. Join my mafia."
Now that sounds better. But still no.
" I don't do mafia." I said without looking at him.
" Ok, tell how much money."
" Don't you get Mr., she is not interested." A hand landed on table, I looked up to see Valentino.
The guy immediately went, after apologizing, who is even scared from this loser.
He smiled to me and sat next to me.
I would chose the guy rather than him.
And why is he smiling at me, he never smiled at anyone.
" Thank you for saving my life."
" No need for thanks, just leave me alone." I said while changing my voice a little.
He looked shocked but covered.
" You really are something, aren't you?" He chuckled to which I didn't reply.
I am not here for this all. I have better things to do.
" Ignoring me, huh?"
I didn't reply but that guy doesn't seem to understand it.
" I am actually liking you."
What? This guy have gone nuts.
" I have never seen anyone ignore me, this is my first time."
The more I was not speaking, the more he was getting interested in me.
Just leave, bro.
" Alright, I won't bother you if you give me your phone number."
I sprayed a pepper spray on his face, he shouted in pain which seem to attract everyone's attention. Just wow, but they should be thankful I did nothing more to him.
" Don't bother me next time, otherwise I won't leave before killing you."
Lorenzo's POV:
I was keeping an eye on this girl, Leonessa, trying to find some clue but the girl was not giving clue at all, I tried reading her but was not able to, which seemed to fascinate me because I was best in reading faces. There is only one person whom I can't ready which is dad but now it seems like she also got added.
One reason can be that she have mask but I doubt it's true because people's eyes tell a lot and her were visible.
Her eyes seem too familiar but I was not able to identify why.
Then I saw Valentino with her and he was obviously pissing her off.
What shocked me was when she sprayed pepper spray and threaten him.
The girl literally got some guts that she threaten him in his own mansion but the fucker deserved it.
I looked at Francesco, Alessandro and Antonio, who were laughing at Valentino, while dad was smiling, Aria looked shocked.
They would have definitely taken an action if they wouldn't have noticed that Valentino was pissing her off when she was actually not interested.
Almost everyone was shocked, who had the guy to threaten and spray pepper spray on Valentino DeLuca.
Interesting.
Kaira's POV:
The guy was actually, a headache and I am happy that finally I am at peace because no one is daring to even come near me after what I did to Valentino.
The cake cutting was going to happen when my eyes fell on a guy who was holding a gun and pointing it towards Aria, wow, the guy is intelligent because no one was actually looking at the time because everyone were so busy in a fucking cake.
I wanted to shout but I better knew that shouting won't help because of the fucking 'Happy Birthday' song.
Like who plays Happy Birthday that too on a speaker.
Sometimes, I want to burn the whole Italian Mafia, thinking who the hell did they let them be the mafia.
I looked at the distance between me and that guy, he was practically at the corner so it was hard to reach there at time and I am not a superwoman that I will reach there in time and I couldn't even throw anything at the guy because this fatty uncle is coming in the way.
Just great.
I looked at the guy who was going to press the trigger.
I ran in my super speed and jumped to pushed Aria, who was going to cut the cake, on the ground while I was on the ground.
I looked at my thigh which had a knife and I was bleeding pretty bad because the knife had gone inside my knife, I took the knife and threw it aside.
Everyone was quite shocked and went towards Aria. Valentino came towards me with anger but I didn't have time for their stupidness, I took out my gun which I had stucked to my leg which was getting covered due to the dress.
These all idiots thought I was going to kill them that's why pointed their guns at me.
If I had time, I would have cursed them but I didn't have.
I shoot the guy, who had a fucking sniper and that seemed to actually bought them out of trance and actually see that they were surrounded by people having guns, almost 30 people.
I immediately stood and gave my hand to Aria and picked up quickly which might even look harshly.
I handed Antonio to her and hold her hand.
" Follow me." I had to protect them because the others could protect themselves and they will be everyone's easy target.
I saw a person pointing their gun towards us, I immediately shooted the person.
Aria stopped maybe because of fear.
I looked back at her.
" Do want us to get killed, if not then follow me." I said while pulling her.
I shooted one more guy.
I took her to the library where I found the basement.
I opened it and made them enter inside.
" Don't come out until I come." I closed the door. I saw a person behind and shooted him.
I came outside.
I saw Lorenzo going upstairs. What is he doing?
I saw a guy going to shoot him while he shoot another guy, I immediately shooted the guy.
" What the fuck! Kaira is not here." Lorenzo shouted.
He went upstairs for me?
" Holy shit!"
" Kaira!" I saw that everyone had started finding Kaira, means me, even Valentino.
I saw more people coming.
They are idiots.
I saw a guy pointing his guy at Valentino and I was going to kick but was restrained due to the dress, I punched his gun off and shooted him straight in head.
I went to Valentino and grabbed his head because I know he will only get himself killed and started dragging him.
" Leave me, I have to find Kaira." He said trying to get off my grip.
" She is safe but for now, shut your mouth and follow me." I opened the living room, secret passage from which I came the other day.
" How do you-"
" Shut the fuck up!" I throw him inside.
" I can't, my brothers-" I closed it.
Then I looked at Alessandro, trying to fight two mens with gun while his gun was on the floor.
I shooted both of them and threw his gun at him.
" Follow me." I said and he did what I said because till now, he got it that it was very dangerous.
" Did you find Kaira?" He asked Francesco.
Francesco shook his head.
" God, where is she?" Alessandro ran a hand through his hairs.
" Don't worry, we will find her." Francesco kept hand on Alessandro's shoulder.
A guy was coming and I was again going to kick the guy but had to punch because of this fucking dress.
I took the knife from my beside and made a slit and now I could use my kicks.
I saw Lorenzo and dad coming from front.
" Did you find Kaira?" Francesco asked to them but they shook their head.
" What the fuck!" He muttered.
I looked at the people who were constantly increasing.
" You all must go." I said to them they looked at the side and saw the guy.
" She is saying right." Dad said.
" Follow me." I said and took them to the passage and opened it. They looked shocked at first but then composed when they realised we didn't had a lot of time.
" You all go, I will not move, till I find Kaira." Lorenzo said.
" Are you crazy, you will die." I shouted.
" I don't fucking care, all I care about is my sister." He shouted back.
" Lorenzo, you go inside, I will find Kaira." Dad said.
" No-"
" Kaira is safe, for now go inside for god sake." I said.
" No, I won't-"
" I saw her running outside and made sure, she is safe." I said and finally they got consoled and hide inside the passage, I was going to close it when dada asked," Are you not going to come?"
I shook my head and closed the door before he could protest.
I saw a guy and shooted him.
Suddenly I was pulled by my waist and my back collide with a hard surface.
I immediately recognised the smell, and I saw that he saved me from getting shot.
How much I wanted to enjoy his touch, I couldn't because men were coming in our direction. I shooted from right and he shooted from left, all the while his hand didn't move from waist.
When there was no one left, he finally left my waist.
" Where is Kiara?"
" She ran outside and is safe. For now go."
" You?"
" Kaira is waiting outside, go help her." I said and pushed him.
He gave me a last look but went.
