Qin Nan’s eyes glittered.

He felt like his body was being tied with chains. He felt his body turning heavier, which halved his speed.

“I didn’t think these Immortal Deers would be able to use the power of the Heavens and Earth in the first Sacred Area!” Qin Nan murmured. He summoned the Divine Battle Spirit and the Lord of All Worlds simultaneously. He also activated the power of the Tree of Dao secretly.

Even so, his speed was still reduced by thirty percent.

“Qin Nan, we should split ways. These Immortal Deers are after my Flesh of Good Luck!” Meng Jiugong clenched his teeth.

Qin Nan’s lips twisted. He snapped, “It has nothing to do with your Flesh of Good Luck!”

However, he suddenly had an idea. At this rate, the Immortal Deers, Jiang Ni, Nie Wufeng, Lu Gufeng, and the rest of the Exceptional Geniuses and Peerless Rulers were eventually going to catch up to him.

Shouldn’t he release the White-Blue Flower to keep these Immortal Deers busy since they would not be able to harm the White-Blue Flower? He could summon it back again once he was safe.

Having this thought, Qin Nan immediately controlled the White-Blue Flower to turn into a white ray and flying in the opposite direction.

The Immortal Deers immediately went after it. The force suppressing him dissipated too.

“The Immortal Deers are gone!”

The cultivators’ eyes glittered upon witnessing the sight. Most of them turned and followed the Immortal Deers.

Securing an Immortal Deer was the top priority for many of them. It would be even better if they could claim the thing that Qin Nan gave up on!

That being said, the Peerless Rulers led by Jiang Ni, Nie Wufeng, and Lu Gufeng continued to follow Qin Nan instead.

“Phew.”

Qin Nan let out a relieved sigh.

With his current cultivation and the head start he had, there was no way Jiang Ni, Nie Wufeng, and Lu Gufeng could possibly catch up to him.

“Fellow cultivators, today isn’t a good time. There’s no need for you to chase me any further. I’ll go to where Chigu is when the time comes. Meet me there if you want to fight me,” Qin Nan’s voice echoed thunderously.

However, Jiang Ni, Nie Wufeng, and Lu Gufeng had no intention to slow down. In fact, they executed various shocking arts to speed themselves up.

Qin Nan shook his head and ignored them. Meanwhile, Meng Jiugong said after calming his thoughts, “Qin Nan, allow me to give you some luck!”

Qin Nan thought it was not a bad idea. He let Meng Jiugong fired a few red light rays into his body.

Jiang Ni and the others gave on the chase, not sure if it was because of Meng Jiugong’s luck.

Qin Nan stood on a tree while unleashing his will.

A few moments later, the White-Blue Flower returned to his Divine Sense at a shocking speed.

Qin Nan frowned as he took a closer look at it.

The White-Blue Flower was perfectly unharmed, but apart from its white-blue color, it was emitting a faint golden glow too.

“Qin Nan, what flower is this?” Meng Jiugong’s eyes widened. He could sense the flower’s power suppressing his Flesh of Good Luck.

Qin Nan did not respond to him. He fired a saber intent at the White-Blue Flower. He was relieved when the flower remained still. He put it back into his body.

“It looks like I’ll have to capture a few of the cultivators that left to chase the Immortal Deers and asked them what happened when I had the chance,” Qin Nan mumbled to himself.

“It’s such a pity that I wasn’t able to watch the battle…”

Qin Nan shook his head. He looked at Meng Jiugong and said, “I can’t tell you now, maybe some time in the future.”

Meng Jiugong shrugged. He said, “That’s fine, but can you do me a favor? Can you release that flower so I can train my flesh with it?”

Qin Nan did not turn the request down. The two of them continued on their way.

They could not afford to go back to the Supreme City. Their only option was to find a secluded spot close to the Immortal-Slaying River and wait patiently there.

Six hours were gone fairly quickly.

The two arrived at a mountain with a strong presence of Immortal Qi. The scenery was completely different from the Land of Deer.

“Mm?”

Qin Nan suddenly looked at Meng Jiugong beside him.

“Isn’t that…”

Meng Jiugong’s eyes sprang open with a blank expression too.

“What’s going on?”

White flames erupted in Qin Nan’s eyes as he looked around.

He just felt a mysterious energy entering Meng Jiugong’s body out of nowhere.

“I don’t know either, it seems to be the Force of Reincarnation, I’ll show it to you.”

Meng Jiugong frowned. A black wisp of the Force of Reincarnation surfaced on his palm and turned into an illusionary talisman.

“Force of Reincarnation? Lu Gufeng?”

Qin Nan was startled. He tapped at the talisman after noticing something.

A forbidden aura was released as the Force of Reincarnation surged upward and turned into an illusionary figure. It was Lu Gufeng.

“Meng Jiugong…”

“Qin Nan, something bad happened.”

Lu Gufeng spoke with a hoarse voice. He took both Qin Nan and Meng Jiugong by surprise.

“I have used the special trait of my flesh to leave you this message.”

“After you two left, I’ve returned to the Land of Deer…”

The voice echoed continuously in the woods.

Qin Nan could not help but twist his lips. Meng Jiugong’s face darkened too.

There was something seriously wrong with that man!

He had a strange habit of only uttering three words at a time, yet he had to explain the details of the battle involving him, Nie Wufeng, and some other Exceptional Geniuses in detail.

They would seriously ignore the message if it wasn’t for their curiosity!

“I encountered a man in a mysterious black robe and fought him…”

The man’s voice sank after a few moments.
