The meeting was over within an hour so Yamini had no hectic work that day. She just had to look over some maintenance and that's it. She as usual after the meeting went towards her cabin and resumed doing her leftover work. She was so engrossed in her work that she didn't even notice that it was almost evening and that she even forgot to have her lunch.Finally completing the work she switched off her laptop and rested her head on the headboard of her chair. All tiredness can be clearly seen on her face, she kept her eyes closed as her eyes were paining a lot."What a great birthday Yamini" she said to herself and got back with her other files. Finally it was time for her to go back home so she quickly packed up her stuffs when Puja entered her cabin."Puu..what are you doing here. Didn't you go back home?" She asked her with a concerned tone.."How can I go when my partner is still working...I thought to spend some time with you at least after work...yaar don't be so boring if not celebration then at least we can go for a dinner like a casual one" said Puja with a pleading tone.She smiled at her bestie's cute puppy face and nodded her head in agreement while Puja danced in joy. After winding up everything they left the office premise and headed towards their all time favourite restruant. As they had previously booked one table for themselves so it wasn't a task for them to wait in queue. They went to their respective seats and sat there while a waiter came there to take their order."What would you like to order madam?" Asked the waiter with a pleasent smile on his face. Puja hurriedly replied "Can you please come after sometime...actually we haven't given a thought about it" "Sure" answered he and left from there while Yamini lifted her brows in confusion and asked "Puu why did you send him away...it was already decided na what we will be eating" Puu smiled sheepishly and replied "I know Yams it's just that I want to try something else today". Yamini gave a light smile as she very well knew her bestie's trantrums. They were busy checking the menu when from behind someone said "Happy Birthday Yams darling". Both of them turned back to check who it was when they saw a handsome man who was not an Indian but a native of that place was standing there.His height was almost 6 while he had very fair skin and his features were very sharp. He had blonde hairs and his cheeks were red like an apple. He was standing behind them carrying a beautiful smile on his reddish pink lips.Yamini was shocked watching that person while Puja was having a beautiful smile as if she knew about that. That man came towards them while holding a small cake on his hands and started singing for Yamini "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR YAMINI HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU"Yamini was still in shock and was looking towards that man with her wide eyes. She wasn't able to figure out what she should do or say next while Puja said exictedly"Suprise for my best friend.... happy birthday to you once again darling"She was still watching them when she realised that she has been reacting the same since long so she immediately controlled her emotions and said with her broken voice "Darek you? What are you doing here? You were at US right? I mean..."Darek James was another member of Yamini's group. He was a local here in London but used to stay in US for his job purposes. He, Puja and Yamini were very close to each other. Though Yamini didn't know him before, she only got to know him well when she arrived there as Darek was Puja's boyfriend and soon to be husband so through that way she knew him.All the three always used to roam and hangout together. Darek was a very sensible, kind and intelligent boy. He always considered Yamini as his own sister so that's why both of their bond was very strong. Darek used to work in London only at first but gradually he had to shift outside as he was transferred from here. Yamini didn't know that Puja and Darek will suprise her in such a good way thought she never expected that from them not atleast from Darek.Her eyes almost filled with tears when she saw him crossing overseas just to suprise her for her birthday. She immediately got up from her seat and engulfed him in a bone crashing hug while he too reciprocated the hug with same intensity."OMG I can't belive that you'll come here that also just to suprise me like that" she said while releasing him. He smiled gently and replied "How can you think also that I'll not surprise my little sister...when it's her very special day...and you know what I can do anything to see a cute smile which you are having right at this moment"Tears again formed in her eyes when she heard this. She felt totally lucky for getting such great people on her life who would do anything to see her smiling face. She looked upwards towards the roof and mentally prayed god "Thank you God for blessing me with such lovely people...I don't know what would I have done without them"
