Chapter 10: chapter 10

Love ArrangedWords: 4835

Only two more days left for the wedding. Everyone are busy with the arrangements. Rakshita was wandering in her room arranging her wardrobe. Shally was sitting on the couch in their room and was completely focused on her cell phone. Rakshita stood in front of her, but Shally didn't even look up. Got tensed with it, Rakshita asked her "what are you so engrossed in?" Shally without looking up told, "looking for the best honeymoon destination." Rakshita's eyes widened, blinking thrice she asked Shally,  "what?". Only then Shally realised that she had blabbered the news which Nikita told to keep it as a secret. Shally saw confusion , hurt and rage, all at once on Rakshita's face. Yet in order to make her comfortable, she told "It's just a formality. Even if you don't go, everyone is eventually going to ask what are your plans for it. And especially looking at your sister-in-law's planning, I don't think this will just be a discussion. For sure she is going to put you through something. So better be prepared. If you ask me, I would suggest you to go for it". Rakshita stared at her cousin. Shally smiled at her and said, "look Rakshu, going for honeymoon doesn't mean you have to be intimate with Rakesh. Just go for the trip, enjoy the journey, learn and see new places. Get back. Rakesh isn't someone who is going to force you in to anything. So why are you so worried about it". This made Rakshita to think about it. Rakesh too looked after the arrangements and helped Sachin and Nikita wherever required. He had a restless day. He took a shower and thought to spend some time alone on terrace in order to rest his mind and went there. As soon as he but the door, the fragrance of rose and strawberry wafted in the air. With that he made sure Rakshita is there on the terrace and came up. Rakshita was seated on the long swing and was watching stars in the sky. Suddenly Rakesh mind spoke,"Why should a moon watch the stars? Might be because, It had rather miss it's home,While being on earth."Hearing some movement, Rakshita looked up to see Rakesh standing there. Both smiled at eachother and she asked him to take a seat. Both sat quietly for sometime. Neither of the trying to start a conversation, enveloped in silent, both found it oddly satisfying. There wasn't any need to be spoken yet the situation felt complete just being in eachothers presence. Suddenly, Rakshita's mind drifted to about what Shally spoke that morning and she looked at Rakesh. He too lifted his head and on looking at her face he knew she was about to ask something. Yet something is stopping her from doing it. So he nodded at her and smiled. Rakshita smiled hesitantly and asked, "So, finally it's our wedding." Rakesh nodded and gave another smile. "Are you happy about it or still rethinking?" His question seemed genuinely concerning. She gave a sad smile, "I won't say I am happy, yet I am not rethinking about it. Anyway, now I don't have a bad feeling about this marriage", Rakesh's heart swelled at it. Hearing her say these words in something extraordinary he had felt in his life. "Thank you. And everyday I will prove you that this bonding between us not fake, but it's something very amazing and beautiful". Rakshita smirked at him and asked, "Till when you are planning to do that?". Rakesh looked straight at her eyes and said "Until I make you see us through my eyes. Then you wil realise what I truly feel about you."Looking at the honesty in his eyes, Rakshita lost herself at his words and her mind couldn't contemplate any response. She was at loss of words yet her heartbeat was in an synchronised rythm that only she could feel. She felt perfect, complete, which all were very new to her. Nobody had ever made her feel so special just with their presence. Lost in eachothers mesmerized gaze, they came back to their senses when they heard their names being called by a small girl. Both smiled and turned to the girl. Rakshita told her that they are heading down for dinner and nodded towards Rakesh. Only while descending, she remembered why she had actually started the conversation and stopped mid step and looked at Rakesh. He blinked at her sudden reaction and raised his eyebrows questioningly. Rakshita swallowed a lump in her throat before asking, "So where are you planning to take me, after the wedding?". Again they were interrupted by her mother. She asked them to come down fast and left. Rakesh looked at her and asked, "Are you really that curious to know? Are you sure you don't want it to be a surprise?".  She nodded at him, but he gave a mischievous grin and went down. -----------------------------------------------------------Hi everyone , hope you all like the chapters.  Thank you for all your support.
