Chapter 52: Bonus - Azrael Reverse

Checking my watch for the time, I note how I have to prepare for the cohort for the position as my secretary since he'll be arriving soon. My watch says it's near ten-thirty, and that's the promised time. I begin to stack the other papers I don't need for that instance into the corner of my desk, while shifting some pens and a paper with the cohort to the center of my desk.

My office door sounds with a knock, and I say to enter. Levi opens the door and smiles a little.

"The cohort is here. Should I show him in?" asks Levi.

"Yes, please," I say with a smile and nod, "I'm just getting ready for him."

Levi nods before stepping to the side to let me see a person standing behind him. Around my chest height, a slight young man with dark hair and soft warm color skin stands nervous with eyes a little wide, but not scared to enter. His suit is fitted to his body but I can tell that perhaps he's not used to it even if his necktie is done nicely since his attire seems stiff.

"Hello," he says, and his softer voice pulls my eyes to his, which are grey and won't let my gaze go.

"Hello back to you," I say as I glance down at the paper in front of me, "Azrael, I believe."

"Yes, sir," says Azrael as he takes another step into my office before stopping, "I've come to apply for the position as your secretary, Mr. Fallin."

"Please, call me Hogarth," I say as I find myself standing to walk over him.

My approach towards Azrael seems to have him shrinking a little into his shoes while his eyes wider than before a little look up at my taller height. I reach out a hand and find his smaller one in mine as I shake it.

"Please," I say as I pull his hand a little and gesturing to an empty chair in front of my desk, "sit. I've been expecting you."

"Thank you," says Azrael, and I notice that he's still a little nervous as he walks carefully to the seat, and Levi after a grin to me leaves my office quietly.

"So," I say as I sit down at my desk, "Azrael, tell me a little about yourself."

"Yes, sir," says Azrael as he perks, his fists flexing once before he talks, "I just recently graduated from University, with a degree in business, accounting, and English. I also have an associate's in Japanese. I also have experience as an intern at Vita Bona Inc. before coming here to apply for this position."

"Ah, so you've had the honor of working with Dean and Martin?" I ask.

I have trouble formulating a question to ask him since I'm so caught up in Azrael's appearance before me that I have to remind myself to focus on my job.

"Yes, sir," says Azrael, nodding in an obedient way that is not good for him to do in front of me.

"I also see that you have three degrees," I say, "very impressive."

"Thank you, sir," says Azrael.

"Well, what do you think you have to bring benefit to this company, and that which makes you the best cohort as my secretary?" I ask, throwing the hardest question his way because I can't think of anything else.

"Ah, yes," says Azrael, probably uncomfortable from the sudden question with so much weight, and his nervous and rigid stance trips a little as he tries to think, "I believe I have the faculties of being on time, being organized, and having assiduity, which allows me to overcome arduous and difficult issues and support you in any calamity."

The answer because he speaks carefully but also slowly gives me time to take in his appearance, which like a good dream sits before me. I'm not one for romance, coming from the harsh world of business, but this little man might just be the perfect one for me to pour in all my emotion. I know I've worked some years now and if this Azrael wanted anything I'd heap it all over him.

Azrael's still speaking so I focus on his skin too, which I'd say is perfect for touching and other things. I trail my eyes from his eyes to his cheeks, before going lower to his neck, stopping at the point with some disappointment that he's not naked. I could slip one of my fingers which are larger than Azrael's under that necktie and unbutton that shirt while his warm skin got incandescent.

I'm able to pull myself out of my little stupor of succor just as Azrael finishes talking. And I know now that I can't have this man walking around D.C. without me as his and vise versa.

"You've got the job," I say, which startles Azrael and makes his eyes widen, and I stand up from my chair with a smile, "you'll be perfect here."

"R-really sir?" asks Azrael incredulously while looking at me with his wide eyes as I come around my desk to stand in front of him.

"Yes. You're obviously the best person for the job, and I'd be a fool to pass you off," I say as I come to stand over Azrael, "I'll employ you."

"Thank you!" says Azrael smiling, standing up and reaching out to shake my hands, "I won't let you down!"

"I'm certain you wont," I say, using both my hands to shake his one single hand he puts out.

I've smiled before in pictures as the CEO of my company, Garner Inc., and the smiles are all broad and shining. But I smile right now broadly and radiantly and slightly wickedly as I look down at Azrael happily.

I have to pull my hand from his with counterfeit politeness, when I'd rather have his hand and the entirety of Azrael on me like the suit I wear, but with less layers between us. But for now, I lead him to the office next to mine to help him settle into his new position, next to me.

...............

Putting the next paper I was working on for a while down, because it's finished, I look outside of my office at the Potomac. I'd say it's been a good few weeks because of the little angel I've had under my wing per se. He's been proper in his job as my secretary, working his little butt of doing anything and everything I throw at him. Even remembering to do all the things I say I need everyday at certain times.

I've been trying to test him to see if he's up to the job I think of offering him, past my secretary. I reflected after the day I hired him officially how I might've been on libido and thought of a way to assess him. Setting up small extreme errands, like having him do a good number of paperwork by a certain time. Another would be dealing with an entire group of other CEOs, CEO friends of mine who are in on the act, while I faked being sick.

I also made him go get a book at a certain book store I had one of the CEO friends of mine in the publishing world put in a certain bookstore, and put only one. He managed to perform splendidly, as he did with all the other errands. The last one though I might've pushed him a little too far, since he got back with the book being dousing wet, and also with his ankle sprained. He quite literally opened my office door, the book in a plastic bag clutched to his chest while slumping to the floor, huffing out that he got the book, trying to smile at me.

I'd say that might've pushed him too far.

But, I was able to assess, and to find every principle and character trait I find dear. In tandem with his appearance, presence, and refulgence, I can't keep my eyes, body, and hands away from him. Today I'll make a move on him.

Standing up from my chair, I walk to my office door, heading to the break room where I know Azrael will be. He's supposed to bring me a coffee around this time of the day, and he's always been on time. So I expect to find him there.

Quietly, I approach the break room and glance inside. Sure enough, punctual as he always is, another trait I adore, he's making my coffee. I take in his appearance turned away from me toward a counter.

He's wearing his usual three piece suit, but has pulled off his jacket to let me see his vest hugging his slim body. I've learned that he's not skinny, but lean muscle covers his light-footed body, much to my happiness.

I take in his dark hair, shiny and stunning. I've seen his hair in sunlight, and had the scent of it passed to me by the wind when we've gone to outdoor meetings at high-end restaurants, and none of the foods or drinks provided there could surpass that.

And his smiling, appreciative, and sometimes obedient attitude. The last I don't need, but it certainly was intriguing to observe on him. He lights up every day I live and can't have without him like the sun, a million suns.

My eyes also observe the tennis shoe on his right foot and the bandages I can see. I caused that, and I should take responsibility of it. But, if things go my way, then I'll be carrying him out of this room and to many, many places to do many things.

Walking into the room silently, I come up behind Azrael. He hums quietly to himself, and he doesn't notice me until I put both my hands on the counter on each side of his waist, caging him in with my larger body.

"Sir?" asks Azrael in surprise as he look upwards directly to crane his head up at me, finding my eyes with his.

The angle has his Adam's apple sticking out, and it seems to invite my hands to rub it softly.

"Azrael, Azrael, Azrael," I say, grinning not unlike the way I grinned when I shook his hand.

Slightly wickedly, victoriously, and certainly happily, I smile. My hands also inch sideways closer to his waist.

"You've been naughty, being so beautiful and mesmerizing," I say as I continue to smile, "making me think of you every moment since I've met you."

"Ah, what?" asks Azrael.

"I'm obsessed with you," I say, finally finding my hands on his waist, and I think Azrael shivers, and I dip my nose as I smile more, "you're beautiful."

"Um, sir," says Azrael as he turns in my hand to turn his body toward me but seems to lean away from me, "I'm your secretary and this mustn't happen."

"Why ever not?" I ask as I lean closer but feel a little hurt, "Do you not like me?"

I've not been ignorant of how sometimes I do find Azrael's glances at me, and then his slightly pink cheeks. I'd say he has some interest, as I do for him.

"I...I um..." says Azrael, not putting out an answer, "I um, I might, er, not sure...haven't had this experience...I'm...nobody."

"How about this," I say as I lean closer.

I also slip my hands under his butt and lift him onto the counter, and putting my body closer to his between his legs.

"I'll promote you," I say as I lean closer to him, "from my secretary to my boyfriend."

Azrael's eyes widen the largest ever, and I grin the most I've ever.

"What say you to that?" I ask, softly.

Azrael stares into my eyes a little longer, before he glances down, turning red.

"I'd...I'd like that very much," he say, smiling shyly.

"Then it's settled," I say as I pick Azrael up and hold him to me while turning and walking out of the break room, "I have a dinner planned, and we'll be right on time to listen to the band as it starts up."

"You had a dinner planned?" asks Azrael, bewildered.

"Of course," I say, grinning again as I enter the elevator, still holding Azrael, "I'm not letting you go. You're now my boyfriend, and I might sound like a cliché businessman, but I get what I want."

I kiss Azrael's cheek, and he blushes while touching his cheek with a soft smile.

"And I want you," I say, which makes Azrael connect his eyes, and I can tell his next two words slip out, but it makes me so happy.

"Me too."
