Marie let out a soft “hmm” and said, “I don’t know if pinching you would hurt or not.”

Lennon smiled in his eyes and said, “So what should we do? If I pinch you, I will feel sorry for you.”

Marie chuckled and lightly tapped the man’s chest, with a hint of playfulness, “Alright, stop being so talkative.”

Lennon held Marie’s hand and whispered, “Truthfully.”

“No, the road conditions were even worse than I had imagined. It wasn’t until 3:30 in the morning that I arrived in downtown Los Angeles.
