She picked up Menu her phone and glanced at it, saying to Marie, “Is the New York number for you?”

Marie:“I didn’t know either, you answer it and see.”

Laura answered the phone, “Hello, how can I help you? Is there something you need to talk about?”

The other person said something.

Laura looked up at Marie and said, “Yes, she was at my house.”

Saying that, Laura handed the phone to Marie, “It’s for you, they said it’s your friend.”

Marie took the phone and said, “Hello?”

Upon hearing her voice, the person on the other end of the phone seemed to have breathed a sigh of relief.
