LAUREN

Lauren collapsed on her bed, dozens of bags surrounding her, after a long day of shopping.

Going shopping with Shana was normally scary, chaotic, and expensive, and Lauren actively tried to avoid it, but this time it was fun because she hadn’t been shopping for herself, and because she hadn’t spent her own money.

After Logan had gone to the office for an urgent appointment, he’d given her his platinum card. She’d rejected it at first, not needing his money, but he wouldn’t take it back, and Shana had encouraged her to think of the baby.

Exhausted, Lauren rolled onto her back and checked her phone. Again. For the millionth time.

Still no message. He hadn’t messaged all day, nor had he responded to hers.

Negative thoughts began tormenting her mind. ~Is his phone off, or is he ignoring me? Is this what it’s going to be like when he’s at work? What if something happens to me or the baby?~

She didn’t want her baby to grow up the way she had. It was her worst nightmare, her worst fear—to have his shiny card in her purse as a replacement for Logan. She would pick any future for their child over that.

Her phone buzzed in her hand, causing her to jump and ripping her from her thoughts. Seeing his name, she sat up. “Hello?” she said, her tone distinctly unamused.

“Hey, sweetheart. Sorry I haven’t called or messaged all day,” Logan said. “Are you home now?”

Lauren released a sharp exhale through her nose. “Yes. But—”

“Great! Come outside. I have a surprise for you,” he said then hung up.

Logan’s hands covered her eyes while the car rolled to a stop and the door opened. “Keep them closed,” he said as he helped her out and stood her where he wanted her.

Lauren loved surprises. She’d been brimming with excitement since she saw his car waiting for her, and he’d made her keep her eyes closed, telling her nothing and touching her seductively the whole way here. Her body buzzed with arousal now as well as excitement.

“Okay,” he said, “open them.”

Greeting her when she did was a stunning house with a porch, a huge white front door, white detailing, and cornices. And it was big, soap-opera big.

Taking in the rest of her surroundings, Lauren gazed in amazement at the suburban dream street around her. It was surreal, straight out of her imagination for where her perfect family would live.

“I don’t… I don’t understand,” she said, unable to look away from the house.

“I may have interrogated a best friend of yours to find out exactly what you wanted,” he said, putting an arm around her. “I think between us we came pretty close to giving you the suburban dream you had on your vision board in college.”

Then he dangled a key in front of her eyes. “This is our new home.”

Lauren sucked in a breath and spun to him, tears in her eyes as she jumped and wrapped her arms around his neck. Then reality hit her, and she released him, but he held her close.

“But, isn’t this too soon?” she asked. “I’ve never lived with a boyfriend before.”

Logan shrugged. “I’ve never lived with a girlfriend. But if you’ll entertain the idea of living in suburbia with me, then I’d like to introduce you to our home.”

Lauren’s smile grew, and she grabbed the key, turning it over in her hand as they walked up the porch and to the doorstep.

The moment she unlocked and opened the door, her jaw dropped at the expansive space. Stepping inside, Lauren’s eyes couldn’t decide where to settle as they bounced around the interior.

The walls and ceilings were covered in amazing textures and detailing. There were wooden floors, wainscoting along the walls, rounded archways—it was perfect.

Emotions wreaked havoc inside her as she turned to him, walking backward into the space as he shut the door and came forward.

“What do you think, Landon?” he asked. “Ready to take a chance on this?”

Lauren couldn’t wait to tour the whole house, but her body was demanding something else as she watched him approach her. He looked so sexy in his jeans and sweater, and he’d given her the perfect surprise. Now she had one for him.

“Oh, I’m ready,” she said, pressing herself against him. “And now”—she pulled off his shirt—“I want to show my appreciation.”

Lauren wrapped her arms around his neck as he kissed her, deep and desperate, holding her against him. She danced her tongue with his as he backed her against a wall. Then he lifted her thigh against his, thrusting his hips into her.

Their lips parted as he tore off her jumper, but their mouths found each other again like a magnet was pulling them in. Wild with desire, she arched into him as his hand went under her jeans. He undid the button, and then his fingers were stroking her.

Moaning and crying out, she bucked her hips against him, her movements jagged and rushed as her fingers fought his belt and pants. She was desperate for him, and her orgasm quickly built under his expert fingers.

Breaking the kiss, she panted, “Logan.” Having worn just a bra under her jumper, she arched her back, thrusting up her still-covered breasts. They ached for his touch.

And he took the hint, ripping off her bra and latching his mouth over one. His hand cupped the flesh, kneading it as he licked, sucked, and nibbled at her peak, making her cry out.

Her pussy leaked as his fingers kept fucking her until she finally came apart. She exploded beneath his expert ways, crying out his name, shuddering, and gasping.

But she had no time to recover before he was shoving his jeans to the ground, stepping out of them, and lifting her against the wall. She yelped as he did, just before his massive cock entered her, and she was a goner again.

“Logan!” she cried, riding his cock and using the wall for purchase. She rocked her hips against his. The pace was fast and messy, her body burning hotter and hotter as they raced to the finish line together.

Her blood was boiling, her core so tight she thought she might suffocate, but he had her. He rolled his hips against hers, and she let go in a blaze so intense her pussy squirted on his hard cock inside her.

She released all over it, her juices coating him as her jaw dropped, the pleasure steamrolling her.

Logan groaned, reaching between them to feel her juices before his eyes rolled back, and he slammed into her. He used the wall and her ass to bury himself as deep inside her as he could.

She clutched him as he came, moaning and dragging out the tail end of her orgasm until she was a shuddering mess against him.

He leaned against her, pressing her onto the wall while he caught his breath. Her chest heaved against his, her body still throbbing with the aftermath.

Pulling out, he lowered her to the ground and pulled her lips to his for another deep kiss.

“My little squirter,” he said, grinning against her mouth. “I wonder what other secrets this delectable body is hiding.”

Lauren blushed. “I prefer sweetheart.”

After they put on their underwear, Logan grabbed her hand and led her to the master suite. There was a California king bed in the middle of the room, with no covers, just the gorgeous fabric bed frame that had been on her vision board for years.

“Before we leave tonight,” he said, “we should christen this thing, make sure there are no squeaks before Squirt gets here.” Logan rubbed her belly and chuckled.

Slapping him playfully, Lauren screwed her face up. “You are not nicknaming him Squirt after what just happened.”

Logan laughed and pulled her onto the bed, and by the time the sun peeked over the horizon, they were both completely spent. Every empty room in the house had been christened. Right down to the breakfast nook.

It was a dream come true, and she found herself realizing that her Valentine’s Day curse wasn’t really a curse after all. It had been guiding her to where she needed to be all along. Which was with Logan.

And now that she had what she was meant to have, she couldn’t wait to see what next Valentine’s Day had in store for her.
