"Wake up! Wake up!" Connie screamed, jumping on the bed.
"What's wrong?" Julie asked, slowly waking up.
"Guy told me Varity's joining a party at Rick's house and we're invited" she answered
"Why the hell would they invite us?" i asked, rubbing my eyes
"I don't know but we are, now get ready" she said, pulling me out of bed.
"Wait how late is it?" Julie asked
"15:00 why?" Connie said
"We slept that long?!" i yelled "I promised i would go see Adam's game"
"When is it?" Julie asked
"16:00! I have to hurry" i said grabbing a pair of jeans and a random sweater.
"Okay, I have to go. Bye see you guy's later" i said, putting my shoes on
"We're gonna get ready together right?" Julie asked
"Defenitly" i said, closig the door
I walked through the doors of the rink when i felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Adam.
"Hey babe" he said, giving me a kiss on the cheek
"Sorry I was almost late" i said "Connie came over last night which turned into a sleepover and you know how those go."
"It's alright. I'm happy you're here" he said "So?"
"So what?"
"Are you going to Varsity's party?" he asked
"Only if you're going"
"I would go anywhere for you" he said, which made me rolle my eyes and smile
"Play good alright" i said
"Definitely, bye. Love you" he yelled going into the locker room.
God Adam you're going to be the death of me.
The game
I sat in the stands, my eyes locked on Adam as he skated across the ice, his movements sharp and confident. The cold air nipped at my skin, but the excitement in my chest kept me warm.
I cheered as he skillfully maneuvered around opponents, his focus unwavering as he darted toward the goal.
Though the noise of the crowd swirled around me, I was only aware of him, the way he seemed to glide effortlessly, a blur of determination and grace.
Watching him play, my heart racedânot just for the game, but for the man I admired with all m heart.
After the game
I rushed over to my boyfriend, Adam, who was still catching his breath from the intense match. With a bright smile, I threw my arms around him, my voice full of pride as I exclaimed,
"You were amazing out there!" As I pulled away, I ruffled his hair playfully, adding, "I knew you could do it. You're amazing!" Adam grinned.
"Why don't you get ready for the party? I have to shower. I'll come pick you up" he said still smiling
"Great" i kissed him and left with the same stupid smile on my face.
At the dorm
We were buzzing with excitement as we prepared for the party.
Connie stood in front of the mirror, carefully applying the finishing touches to her makeup, while Julie rummaged through her closet, trying on different outfits.
"What do you think of this one?" she asked, holding up a blue top and a brown skirt
"Perfect!" I said, applying my mascara with a steady hand.
The dorm was filled with laughter and music as we shared stories and last-minute touches.

Connie chose a dark red lipstick, while I styled my hair into soft waves. As we all finally stepped back to admire each other, we couldn't help but smile, knowing the night ahead of us was going to be unforgettable.
I was helping Julie with her hair when there was a knock on the door.
"That must be Adam. Connie can you get that" i asked putting a bobbie-pin in Julie's hair.
"Sure" she said and went to open the door
"Hey babe" Adam said coming in
"Hey" i said giving him a kiss
"I'm sorry to interupt your make-out session but we gotta go or we're gonna be late" Julie said getting her purse
"Blah blah blah. It won't be long till we're gonna have to pull you away from Scooter" i said. She glared at me and pulled me with her.
"Does Adam know?" she whispered
"Oh he's on the Scooter and Julie shipping train" i said laughing
"I'm gonna kill you" she said glaring at me
I rolled my eyes and we all got in the car and drove to Rick's house. All ready for a night we would never forget.
