"Layla wake up" i heard Julie saying to me while she was shaking me awake
"Whats going on" i asked sitting up strait
"We're getting back at Varsity you wanna join" she asked. Getting back at Varsity is like presents under the christmas tree. A smile made its way on my face.
"I'm in" i said jumping out of bed
"Great I already got your clothes ready" Julie said giving me a black sweater with black pants. I felt like a ninja.
When we were ready we left to the place we were going to meat with the ducks.
"Hey Layla can I talk to you" Fulton said pulling me away from the group
"What's up" i asked
"You didn't know about Varsity's prank right?" he asked
"What? No i didn't. I even made Adam promise he didn't know about it. Which was just bullshit" i answered
"Good. Because you're my friend and friends don't lie" Fulton said
"Friends don't lie" i said and pulled him in a hug
"Alright everyone, get in places" Charlie yelled. He gave some walkie-talkies to some people.
Guy and Connie were on the lookout. Dwayne was outside with a horse? Don't know how he got that. Charlie and Russ were going to get the ants. I was with Julie, Kenny, Averman, Luis and Fulton to see if there was someone in the hallways. We heard footsteps so we hid under a couple of tables. It was Adam and Rick
"Hey Adam good job" Rick said putting a hand on his shoulder
"Ye whatever" Adam mumbled
"What's wrong? Did your little girlfriend break up with you? Don't be sad you're going to get way hotter chicks now you're on Varsity." Rick said
"There's nobody else for me and I don't want anybody else" Adam said to Rick and walked back to his dorm
Rick rolled his eyes and walked to his own dorm. We just stayed quiet, no one said anything. Did Adam really love me that much?
"Alright..." Averman started "Let's continue the plan"
Everyone nodded and crawled out of their hiding spots.
"Hey, you alright?" Julie asked
"I'm fine. Let's just continue the plan" i said putting on a fake smile. Julie nodded and shot me a smile.
Me, Julie and Kenny started getting the tubes in each of the rooms.
"Should we also do Adam's room" Kenny asked
"He's one of them now isn't he" i said and put a tube trough his door.
"Sad but true" Kenny said
"Sorry Cake Eater" Julie said
Fulton, Luis and Avermand tied the doornobs closed so they couldn't open it from the inside.
All of the sudden we heard running coming to us. We turned around and it was Charlie and Russ.
"Did you get 'em?" Fulton asked
"Yeah, only a couple, you know...hundred" Charlie said proud of himself
"Release the hungry fellas" Connie said through the walkies.
Charlie poured the ants through the tubes leading into the dorms. A minute later we heard yelling and screaming coming from the rooms.
"Let 'em ou" Charlie said. Julie pulled the ropes which made the doors open leading the boys screaming like the girls out.
We all started laughing and clapping.
"You think you're funny, huh? You think you're worth a damn? You're just white trash" Rick yelled itshing himself.
"Uh, who you callin' white trash" Russ smirked. I giggled at what he said.
"That's right. We'll take you anytime, anywhere" Charlie said poiting the flashlight in Rick's face.
"Tommorw, dawn" Rick yelled then ran to the showers
"Bye, dinner was great, thank you!" Charlie smirked
Down the hall we heard Rick yelling "I'm gonna kill you guy's!"
When we turned around we saw an all tied up Cole.
"Damn, Dwayne did his job" Fulton said
"I think it's time to leave" Charlie said
The ducks couldn't really sleep that long because at 5 am to be precise they had to wake up again for the game.
"You sure you don't want me to come?" i asked Julie
"No you stay here. I'm happy you were with us for the prank" Julie said
"Alright but please be careful. They won't go easy on you" i said. I knew Varsity could be harsh when it came to games. And after the prank they would definitely not go easy on the ducks.
"Yes mom." Julie joked
"Julie i'm serious" i said now sitting up in bed
"I know, I know" she said holding her hands up "Besides I'm a goalie they can't really get to me"
"Okey tell the ducks good luck from me" i said before she could leave
"I will bye" she said and closed the door
It was 6:00 when i woke up for school. Julie was still not back. I mean it would take longer than normal right?
After getting dressed i brushed my teeth and reversed my project. Today Adam and I would have to give our presentation about Aphrodite. We didn't really ractice again after the dinner incedent but I hope he doesn't get our points down.
I was walking to class when I was pulled into an empty classroom. It was Adam.
"Adam what the hell"
"Listen I'm sorry alright but please don't be mad at me anymore. I didn't know about the dinner. Scooter whispered the plan to me during it"
"I know but you couldn't give me a headsup by saying: 'Hey Layla i'm sorry but were gonna leave you here with a super duper expensive bill than none of you guys can pay for" i said doing a bad Adam expresion.
"Layla I'm sorry can we please put our fight aside during our presentation?" he begged
"Were gonna have to, so meet me at the library after lunch we can practice there before we go to class" i said and left him standing there alone.
During Geography i noticed Julie's empty place. 20 minutes after class started she came in.
"Miss Garffney can you explaine why you're so late" our teacher said
"I'm sorry m'am, we had an early practice" she said. Julie looked tired and her hair was in a mess. She went to her seat and shot me a small smile. What happend?
After class i ran after Julie.
"Are you okay? What happened?" i asked
"No i'm not okey" she started, she was on the verse of tears "Varsity won which made a huge fight start. Coach Orion then broke us apart and he kicked Charlie and Fulton of the team. Then he made us do 100 laps as punishment and now he probably hates us all and we're definitely gonna lose the game against Varsity at the end of the year." Julie rambled
"I'm sorry Julie" i said and hugged her. In the distance I saw Adam staring at us. I glared at him and put my arm over Julie's shoulder and walked away.
