~The game~
~A Long Decemberð¿~
It was finally time for the game on friday. Julie was stressing a lot. She was worried because it was the first game with a new coach. I was gettin dressed and left to the rink.

When I walked through the doors it was already packed in here.
"Layla" i heard someone whisper. I turned around it was Connie.
"Hey Connie shouldn't you be in the locker room?" I asked
"Yes I just had to check for Julie if you were here" she answered
"She's that nervous"
"Verry"
"Tell her and the rest of the ducks goodluck" i said
"Alright bye Layla enjoy the game" she said and left to the locker rooms
I walked to the stands and saw Adam sitting with Varsity. I'm happy he still came to support his friends even tho they aren't on good terms. The game started off good. Charlie even scored. A few minutes till the end I saw Varsity leave the stands weird. Adam stayed even weirder. After a minute or two they came back with smirks on their faces. I didn't think much of it but I knew it couldn't be any good. The game ended with a tie ten-ten. Everyone was sad and disappointed. Charlie smashed his stick on the boards and walked to the locker room.
I stayed in the stands for Varsity's game. I saw Adam warming up alone on the ice so I decided to go over to him.
"Adam!" I yelled from the side. He turned around and scated over to me.
"Hey you came" he said smiling
"Ye I mean i was here already for JV and I promised I would watch you. So you better play good" I said playfully
"Putting pressure on me I see" he said laughing
"Whatever Cake Eater"
His smile dropped and he looked at me with wide eyes. "Who told you that name" he said shocked
"I don't know" i smiled and shrugged
"I'm going to kill Julie" he said
"Good luck okey" i said
"Ye thanks" he said smiling
I turned around and walked to the locker room to see if Julie and Connie were still there. When I came there I heard yelling and cursing. All of the sudden the doors opened and a mad Charlie came through the doors.
"Jesus what happened" I said. He was still in his hockey gear and he was holding his wet clothes.
"Varsity happened" he lifted his jeans "look what they did to our clothes" he said. So that's why they left during the game.
"Charlie I'm sorry I saw them leaving during the game but i didn't think they would do something like this" i said
"Ye wathever and that little boyfriend of yours that he isn't verry helpful eather he didn't even try to help" he said angry
"First of all he's not my boyfriend and second he didn't have anything to do with it he stayed in the bleachers while the rest left" i said now getting angry at Charlie for accusing Adam.
"Whatever" he said and stormed away. I scoffed
A couple of seconds Julie and Connie came out.
"Layla what are you still doing here I thought you went back to the dorms" Julie said
"Well I was going to watch Varsity's game and before that I just wanted to see how you guys were feeling after the game" i said
"Well we were doing fine until Varsity had to ruin it" Connie said
"I know Charlie told me" i said
"Charlie's a dick too" Julie said
"He just can't see his own mistakes" Connie said
"Look i'm sorry about Charlie and the game but you guys really played good trust me" i said
"Thanks Layla" they said
"Well I have to go now i promised Adam i would watch his game" i said
"Oooohh falling in love ar we" Connie said
"what no I just... he was nervous and none of you guys wanted to come so i voluntiered" i said
"Sure wathever you say lover girl" Julie said.
I rolled my eyes laughing and walked away. The game was about to start so I quickly found a seat. It was not really a surprise that Varsity won. They win every game but the best thing was that Adam scored. He looked so happy.
After the game i went to the locker rooms to gongradulate him.
"Layla" i heard. I thought it was Adam but wen I turned around it was Lucas
"You made it" he said
"Ye you played good" I didn't really watch him but he didn't need to know that.
"Thanks i'm just happy you came" he said
"Well do you know if Adam's almost ready" i asked
"Uh I think he already left" he said
"Oh well...uh...that's fine then. I'm just going home then" i said
"Let me walk you" he said
"Ok I guess" i said. I was kinda dissapointed that Adam just left like that and didn't wait for me or say goodbye.
But little did I know Adam was around the corner with flowers in his hands, watching us walk away.
