That was because everything Ye Chen would do might only become ‘missions’ in Ren Jing’s eyes from that time on; Ye Chen’s love would also become less pure to Ren Jing: Was Ye Chen truly in love with him? Or did Ye Chen ‘love’ him out of guilt and compensation?

Ren Jing deserved a happier life.

whatever choice the characters made, however the author writes the story...let’s appreciate them. even if they might not be exactly what we wanted/liked, i believe that author-sama knew what’s the best for her children. all in all, let’s just learn to respect the author 🙂
