By the time Matthew arrived at the office, it was already 9 o’clock. Curtis saw him and rushed to him, “Mr. Grant.”

“What happened? Why the hurry?”

Curtis finally could rest assured after hearing that.

“Roger that! I’ll get started now!”

Curtis hurriedly left and then Matthew went into his office and started working calmly.

But he had been constantly thinking about Blanca...

Since when did he started to be so absent-minded?

Matthew had been busy the whole morning. At noon, his secretary came into to inform him that Malinda was here. Matthew frowned and said, “Tell her I’m not here.”

“But Mr. Grant, Miss Roach...” The secretary didn’t know what to say now. Malinda was not only Louise’s good friend, she was also the daughter of the Roach family. Who would dare to lie to her?

Matthew pinched his forehead and said, “Send her in.”

Fiona had shown Blanca around and Blanca was amazed at how great a college could be...She could see students heading to classes with books in their hands, young people riding bikes and playing basketball and lovebirds sitting by the lake.

Everything was so alive and full of youth and energy.

“Blanca, what are you looking at?”

“Nothing,” Blanca said and she stopped looking. She just saw a man by the lake and he seemed to be quite familiar.

She might be just confused. It seemed too coincidental that she saw him in the afternoon after she just mentioned him in the morning.

“Then let’s go, they might have arrived now!”

Fiona didn’t have a second thought and dragged Blanca to the party. Most of them just started working or hadn’t graduated yet, so they chose a more economic restaurant, which was near the front gate of the Oakshire University. After lunch, someone proposed that they should go to a karaoke.

Blanca didn’t want to go but Fiona insisted, so she had to say yes.

The Karaoke room had a lot of space and Blanca couldn’t resist the chance to sing. After she sang, everybody cheered and she was kind of shy. Just as she was about to go the the lady’s room, the door was pushed open.

“Sorry, I’m late. I got caught up at home.”

“Zachary, you finally show up! We’ve been waiting for so long!”
