Chapter 1791 Revelations From A Dream
Davin suddenly stopped, not knowing if he should continue his chase or turn back.
Bitterness swelled in his heart as he felt conflicted and helpless.
At that moment, he abruptly realized that perhaps he had fallen in love with Sheila a long time ago. Since she had always been by his side, and he never had to worry about her leaving him, he only knew unconsciously that she loved him and that he would never lose her. Therefore, he never truly treasured her presence around him.
It was only until he lost her in the dream that he finally heard the voice buried deep within his heart saying that he loved Sheila.
After all, if he didnât truly love her, then there was no way he wouldâve married her that easily as a rich playboy who did whatever he wanted. He didnât realize that until the dream showed him an alternate future.
That was why when he woke up, he was very glad that Sheila was still his partner and had given birth to Zayden.
He took many deep breaths, turned to see Levant, who was still waiting for him with a curious expression, and bragged, âI dreamed that Sheila and I had eight daughters. All of them were brilliant, beautiful, and capable of beating your son to a pulp. Man, that was a pretty good feeling, so much so that I didnât want to wake up.â
Levant furrowed his eyebrows. âWhy did you dream of your daughters beating up my son? Also, why did your daughters beat up my son?â
âMaybe because they thought your sonâs a rascal who needed to be taught a lesson! In any case, after they hit your son, his face looked like a pig.â
Levant sneered, âI donât believe thatâs your dream, Davin. Based on your personality, I think you probably dreamed of many hot chicks fighting over you as you lie on top of a mountain of money. And as those women flirted with you, you drank as many glasses of wine as you wanted.â
Davin pouted. âIf you think of me that way, it means youâre really shallow. I canât believe youâre this shallow. All youâre seeing is just the surface. Iâm actually a very loving and loyal man!â
Levant rolled his eyes and pretended to puke. âLoving and loyal? You? How shameless of you! Whatever. I donât want to hear you praising yourself anymore or I will actually puke. Letâs go back now. Your brotherâs probably getting really anxious.â
Davin looked at the sea of flowers. It had helped him see the truth that was buried within his heart, and it had made him miss Sheila a little. I wonder if sheâs doing well with Zayden.
âLetâs go! What are you waiting for?â Levant shouted.
Davin followed him and asked, âYou didnât tell me what you dreamed. Ah! I bet you dreamed of my sister-in-law. I bet she fell in love with you before becoming your wife and lived a happy life with you in your dream. Am I right?â
Levant gave him a side-eye. âHow shallow! If you think of me that way, it means youâre shallow!â
Davin pursed his lips and believed that he had hit the mark on that one. The more Levant denied it, the more he was certain about it.
Upon hearing the conversation between the both of them, Draven asked Damien, âWhat were they talking about? What did they mean?â
Damien analyzed, âI think they slept on the flowers and then had dreams.â
Is that really it? Draven felt that there was more behind the matter.
As Davin and Levant approached them, the duo greeted them, âMr. Davin, Mr. Levant, Mr. Seet has asked you both to return for dinner.â
âGot it,â Davin replied.
When the four of them returned to the cabin, Evan, Nicole, and Darius had already finished their meals.
Darius helped served the meals of those who had just returned to the table. âEat while itâs still hot.â
Davin glanced at the food. âItâs no feast, but this is better than what I expected to get here in the wild. Iâll dig in first since Iâm the main star tonight!â
âThatâs right, Mr. Davin! Tonightâs success depends on you!â
âWe believe you can find the antidote and successfully bring it back, Mr. Davin!â
Davin nodded as he ate.
