"Here Cam go hang up this banner."I said to Cam passing him Jahlan's birthday banner.
Today my baby finally turned one. I was more than excited,and just ready to enjoy his day with him.
"Hey baby."Cj said coming up behind me and kissing my neck.
"Hey, where is my baby?"I asked turning around and looking up at him.
"He in the house with your moms. They up there playing with Kamilla and Princess."He answered me and I nodded.
"Well I'm glad you invited your siblings and not your step mommy."I teased him and he sucked his teeth.
"What I tell you about saying that shit?"He say slapping my ass really hard. "That lady ain't my step mom."He say and I chuckled.
"Yea ight."I playfully said getting out of his grip and walking towards the house.
"Hey mama"I said as I walked in the house.
"Hey baby."My mom said coming up to me and kissing my cheek. "I just love Jahlan,he such a sweet baby."She say and I looked over at Jahlan who was trying his best to get up and walk.
"Aw you gone get it soon baby."I say catching him before he fell back on the ground. "Happy Birthday lovey."I say kissing all over him.
"Put my nephew down he don't even like you like that."Cam say taking Jahlan out of my arms. "He like me more."He stuck his tongue out at me and Jahlan did the same thing.
"Shouldn't you be mingling with Kennedy and Kori?"I say rolling my eyes at him.
"First off I don't got to do a damn thing,and secondly Kennedy is stuck up and Kori cool I talked to him earlier."He say and I chuckled at him.
"Kennedy is just spoiled that's all."
"Well it makes her look ugly,she needa fix it."He say walking off and going into the living room.
"Yo sis come over here."Tristan said signaling for me to come over by him and James.
I walked over to them and they just sat there looking and smiling at me. "Y'all are some creeps,what y'all want?"I rolled my eyes.
"You know our homeboy love yo goofy looking ass right?"James say and I rolled my eyes.
"Yes I know. What's your point."
"Just making sure you know that."Tristan shrugged and I put my hand on my hip eyeing the both of them.
"What y'all trynna say?"I squinted my eyes at them.
"Nothing sis...We just wanted you to know the facts that's all."Tristan shrugged again.
"Y'all irritate the fuck outta me."I mumbled walking away from them,and they start snickering at me.
"Hey baby."Cj said coming up and kissing me on my forehead. "What you was talking about with Tristan and James?"He asked pulling me into him.
"They was just being their usual annoying selves."I waved him off. "They just acting weird and shit."
"I bet."He say eyeing them. "I'll talk to you later."He said letting me go and walking over to Tristan and James.
I just looked at them for a little before walking into the kitchen where my nana was making the food.
"Hey nana."I said coming up and kissing her cheek.
"Hey Jay"She smiled mixing the meatballs in the barbecue sauce.
"The food smells so good nana."I say helping her a little.
"Thank you baby,Cj's mom tried to help but I didn't need it."She told me and I folded my arms at her.
"Nana please tell me you wasn't being mean to that lady."I say and she snapped her neck at me.
"Now why would you think I was being mean? I said it nicely and she understood."She shrugged going back to what she was doing.
"I know how you are nana"I eyed her. "But if you say you weren't mean I'm going to take your word on that then."I say putting my hands up.
I walked out of the kitchen and back into the front room,and Cj was helping my dad bring in a bunch of bags and packages.
"Lemarcus I know you didn't."My mom say covering her mouth.
"Daddy what is all of this?"I asked looking at him struggle to get the bags through the door.
"Well it's my grandson first birthday,and he needs to be spoiled."He shrugged. "So I went and spent a couple bands on him."He said nonchalantly.
"Well what all did you get?"I asked looking through some of the bags.
"Oh designer clothes and shoes, and a bunch of toys that's all."He shrugged like it was nothing. "Baby boy gotta be looking good."He smiled picking Jahlan up and throwing him in the air.
"Well thank you daddy."I walked up and hugged him. "We really appreciate it."I told him honestly.

"What y'all tell Jayda?"I scolded James and Tristan dumbasses.
"Man we ain't tell that damn girl a damn thing."James waved me off. "You buggin."
"Yea ight let me find out y'all ratted me out."I mugged them.
"Nigga shut the hell up."Tristan said scrunching his face up at me "We got yo back damn."He say patting my shoulder.
"Nigga don't touch me."I pushed him off me. "You niggas better have kept my secret from Jayda."
"We pinky promise."James joked cheesing at me with his pinky out.
"I will beat yo as-"
"Yo Cj come quick! Jayda and Havana fighting!"Cam said rushing over to me.
We all looked at each other before running into the other room.
When we got in the room, Havana and Jayda was both throwing punches at each other. There was no hair pulling,no kicking, just straight punches.
"Yo they fighting like some niggas B!"James yelled recording them fighting.
Jax came up and tried to pull Havana back but ended up getting hit in the face by one of her punches.
"Yo Jayda chill out. Kids are in the other room."I said pulling her back.
She was still throwing hits when Havana came up and grabbed her hair.
I let Jayda go and pushed Havana back,and she fell back on the floor. "Didn't I say chill the fuck out!"I snapped. "Don't fucking pull her hair!"I yelled at her.
Havana got up and just stared at all of us. "You just mad because yo girlfriend got her ass beat."She rolled her neck at me.
I looked back at Jayda who was pulling her hair up in a bun,and I smirked at Havana "Nah the fight looked pretty fair, but I know Jayda can really stomp yo ass out. You want to fight her so bad then take that shit outside."I say and she gaped her mouth open.
"What?"I tilted my head at her. "You don't want to fight now,because you know the only way you can get the advantage is if you sneak Jayda. You not really bout it man,get the fuck outta here."I waved her off.
"Fuck you Cj."She mumbled grabbing her stuff.
"And don't let me catch you touching my girl again, because then it's gone be me and you. Lil hoe."I said nonchalantly.
She looked back at all of us with a mug before storming out of the house.
"You straight?"I asked looking over at Jayda and she stormed off towards the stairs.
"I'll go talk to her."Her mom said about to walk towards the stairs but her dad grabbed her arm.
"No. Marie Ann, let Cj go talk to her."He say giving her a stern look and she nodded.
When I got up the stairs Jayda was in the room crying with her face in her hands.
"Baby what's wrong?"I asked sitting down next to her and hugging her.
"That was so embarrassing! I fought on my baby first birthday. I'm such a horrible mother."She cried out.
"Jayda shut that dumb shit up."I say pulling her head up so she looked at me dead in the eye. "You the best mother there is, you handle yo shit for yo son and you raising yo lil brother,I don't know what other nineteen year old,that got shit going for them like you do."I told her honestly.
"You really think so?"She looked at me with teary eyes.
"Yes goofy girl, I know so."I chuckled wiping her face. "Now fix yourself up, and let's go enjoy lil man party."I say and she nodded.
We both stood up and I pulled her into me and kissed her lips passionately before letting her go so she could fix herself in the bathroom.
I walked down stairs and Pierce was walking through the front door with his wife and their child.
"Who the fuck invited you here."I asked looking him up and down with a mug.
"Yea pussy who invited you."James added mugging him as well.
"Watch that mouth James."My mom said sternly pointing her finger at him.
"Havana invited me, and plus this my son birthday. So better question is why is you here."He say walking up to me.
"Pierce? What you doing here?"Jayda asked coming down the stairs.
"Oh nice for you to invite me Jayda. You do realize Jahlan is my son as well, didn't bother to invite me to my own son birthday party."He snapped at her.
"First off watch how you talk to me before I get my nigga and brothers to beat yo ass."She rolled her neck walking up in his face.
"And Secondly you don't even call or come and check on Jahlan so why should u be invited to his party?"She tilted her head at him.
"Like I said you been a bitch Jayda. I can see why you've always been a miserable ass hoe."He spat at her and Jayda slapped him right in the face.
"Fuck you bitch."He snapped pushing her back making her stumble to the floor.
"You crazy nigga!"I yelled punching him in the face making him fall to the ground. "Don't ever touch my girl again."I snapped punching him somemore.
"Okay okay he's sorry."His wife came and pulled him back from my punches and kicks. "We're sorry for coming."She plead trying to help him off of the ground.
"Get his pussy ass outta here before I light both of y'all up like a Christmas tree. Word to my mommy B!"James snapped pulling his gun out and pointing it at them and Tristan did the same thing.
"You okay baby."I say walking over to Jayda and helping her off the ground.
"I just wanted his first birthday to be good, and it was a total disaster."She cried with tears running down her face.
"No it's not. Look at him, he is over there laughing and walking."I assured her and her eyes bucked looking at Jahlan.
"Walking? My baby is walking!"She screamed pulling her phone out.
"Yea bae, he been walking. You late."I said furrowing my eyebrows at her.
"What you mean he been walking? So you telling me is that you saw my baby take his first steps and didn't tell me!"She said slapping my chest.
"Look I thought you already knew that damn."I laughed at her. "My bad mamas."I say putting my hands up in surrender.
"Aye bruh it's time."Tristan said coming up and whispering all in my ear.
"Okay damn. Breathing that hot ass breathe in my ear nigga."I say moving away from him. "Just make sure everything straight."I told him and walked out of the living room.
I walked into the kitchen where Jayda's nana,mom,and my mom was all talking and sippin' champagne.
"Hey ladies."I say making my presence known.
"Hey handsome boy, c'mon over here."Her nana signaled for me to walk over to them.
"So Jayda in there still glowing after Jahlan walking...Meaning she fed into my bait. I just need yall to get her dressed up and meet me at the location I sent to your phone Mrs.Marie."I went over with them and they all nodded their heads.
"We got your back sweet boy. Now go make my daughter the happiest woman ever."Marie said coming up and kissing me on the cheek.
I nodded and hurried to sneak out the house before Jayda saw me leave. I quickly hopped in my car and drove off towards my house.

"Hey Jay me and papa is going to head out. Can we take our sweet baby with us?"My nana asked me.
"Yea nana, Let me just go pack his bag."I say about to get up but she put her hand up and stopped me.
"No need baby, He has plenty of things at the house."She say taking him out of my arms.
"Well okay then. I love you guys."I smiled kissing up and hugging the both of them and kissing Jahlan.
"Bye baby."My nana smiled and they all walked towards the door.
"Hey has anybody seen Cj?"I asked and everybody just ignored me.
"Mrs.Mia where is Cj?"I asked walking into the kitchen where her and my mother was talking.
"I don't know baby. He left and just told us to get you ready."She shrugged.
"Ready for what?"I furrowed my eyebrows at them.
"Shh."My mom said getting up "We just gotta listen to the orders that was given to us."She say as her and Mrs.Mia pull me up the stairs.
After an hour, My hair and makeup was done by the both of them.
"Okay I look great and thank you guys,but why are you doing this again?"I asked confused as ever because they weren't giving me any answers.
"Here put this on pretty girl."Mrs.Mia said passing me beautiful red dress.
I stripped out of my clothes,and put the dress on.
"Oh God you look gorgeous."My mom say passing me some heels.
"You really do."Mrs.Mia said putting her hand over her mouth. "And that means our part is done, now for Tristan and James."She say as her and my mom leave the room.
"Tristan and James?"I asked to myself and they both barged into the room.
"Okay we on a time schedule let's go."James say being his normal annoying self.
"You look beautiful sis."Tristan say as we all start walking downstairs.
"Aw thanks, but can you tell me what all of this is about?"I asked and he shook his head.
"You is not about to get my head knocked off my shoulders,because you wanted to be noisy. Just sit back and enjoy the ride until we get there."
We all walked outside and got inside of their car. If felt like we were driving for hours,when we finally made it to our destination.
"Alright we're here. Go find ya nigga."James said opening the back door. "Bye. Get out."I rolled my eyes and got out of his car.
"And you wonder why you don't got a girlfriend now."I say bumping past him and he sucked his teeth.
"Oh well I don't want one,and secondly you lucky you my homeboy girl because oou never mind you just don't know. Smart mouth heffa."He bucked at me and I bucked back.
"Alright bye sis."Tristan came up and gave me a hug.
They both got back inside the car and drove off.
I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around and Cj was standing there with a bouquet of flowers.
He was looking fine as ever. He had on a sharp tuxedo, with a fresh cut and his beard well groomed.
"Damn you beautiful girl."He smirked making me blush and look at the ground.
"What's this for?"I asked looking back at him.
"Uh uh not right now. You'll know soon, let's go eat though."He said taking my hand in his and walking towards the restaurant.
As we got in there the entire restaurant was empty,it was just us and the employees in there.
"You rented out this whole place?"I asked him and he nodded his head.
"Reservations for Christopher."He told the girl in the front. She smiled at me and got our stuff ready.
"Right this way."She say leading us to the back where a dock was. "You two have a nice night."She smiled and walked off.
"C'mon baby."Cj grabbed my hand and helped me board the boat.
"Wow this is beautiful."I say looking around at everything.
I walked over to my seat and Cj pulled it out for me and let me sit down. He sat down across from me and just sat there smiling at me.
"What?"I blushed tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear.
"I can't stare at you?"He smirked at me and I rolled my eyes.
"So now can you tell me what all of this is about?"I asked and he shook his head.
"Not yet. Just enjoy yourself right now baby."He smiled at me showing his pretty teeth.
After we got our food,we just spent quality time with each other and talking about everything.
"Okay I need you to put this on."He say pulling put a blindfold.
I looked at him weirdly but let him put the blind fold on me.
"Okay you can take it off now."He say and I quickly tale the blindfold off.
"Oh my God."I say covering my mouth fully shocked.
"Jayda Lynn Sikes, ever since I first met you at walmart. I just knew it was something about you that I loved, now I usually don't do the sap shit but for you girl I'll do anything. I've never had these feelings for a girl,and I just love you so much."He say and tears start rolling down my face.
"Jayda Lynn Sikes can you please make me the happiest nigga alive and be my wife."He smiled and I nodded my head quickly.
"Yes oh my God yes!"I screamed jumping up and down.
He chuckled at me and grabbed my hand and put the beautiful ring on my finger.
"Oh this is so beautiful Cj."I said looking at my finger in amazement.
"I love you so much Jayda."He pulled me into him and he planted a kiss on me.
"I love you too."I smiled as he pecked my lips again.
"Now I got us a room for tonight. Let's go baby."He said sweeping me off of my feet and carrying me bridal style all the way to the car.
We held each other's hand all the way to the hotel that he had us staying in.
When we walked in the room, it was a big beautiful room with a kitchen,living room,and dining room.
"Wow."I say amused at everything.
"You never been in a suite before?"He asked coming up and wrapping his arms around my waist,and I shook my head.
"Well get used to it. Because now that your about to be my wife,that's all we're going to get when we go different countries and states."He said kissing my neck. "And did I tell you that you look so beautiful in that dress?"He said making me blush.
"Did I tell you that you looking fine tonight?"I said turning around and reaching up to kiss his neck. "You my fiancé now,I think it's time for you to see the real deal freak in me."I grinned and he smirked at me.
"Well let's get to it baby."He smirked picking me up and slamming me on the bed.
This was the start of something different.
