"Yes girl he had the damn nerve to come to my house knowing damn well I was done with his ass."I said to Jayda on the phone.
"Well have you talked to Austyn yet?"She asked doing her hair in the mirror.
"I did"I answered getting up out of my bed to go into the living room "He said he was sorry for buggin' out and that he's bringing me my baby today."I said getting all happy all over again.
After the big fight between Me Austyn and James, I ended up calling and explaining to Austyn that me and James had nothing going on anymore and I even begged him to let me see my daughter again.
"Well that's good, at least he's not being selfish with Abrianna and actually letting her see her mother."She said shuffling around her bathroom.
"Yea girl I know I cannot wait to have my sweet baby in my arms again"I say chessing all in the camera.
"Well I'm happy for you"She said smiling in the camera as well "Cam!Come clean up your mess in the kitchen!"She yelled out.
"She's here"I smiled as I heard the doorbell ring "I'll call you back Jay"I said and she replied with a simple "Ok" before hanging up.
I ran to the door and quickly swung it open. Abrianna's car seat was sitting on the ground and she was wrapped up in a blanket. I picked the car seat up and took her inside.
"I've missed you so much baby"I cooed putting her car seat on the coffee table in the living room.
I picked her up out of the car seat and something didn't seem right about my baby. I unwrapped the blanket and I came face to face with my lifeless daughter.
"No!"I said as a tear escaped my eyes.
"I told you that you was gone stop fucking playing with me."Austyn said walking through the door with a gun in his hands.
"What did you do!"I sobbed out pulling Abrianna closer to me and squeezing her lifeless body.
"I taught you a lesson about playing with me."He shrugged nonchalantly "I took the one thing you love the most away from you"
"You kilt my baby!"I yelled out looking at my dead daughter. "She was only 7 months Austyn! She didn't deserve this."I cried out rocking her back and forth.
I looked over at him with tears in my eyes and he looked like this didn't faze him.
"Bye Havana"He said cocking the gun back and pointing it at me.
I closed my eyes tightly waiting for him to pull the trigger......

Jayda.
After getting off the phone with Havana I ended up dropping Cam off at school and now I was on my way to my granny house.
"Hey nana"I say hugging her as she opened the door.
"Hey baby"She smiled letting me go. "And hey my sweet sweet Jahlan"She cooed taking Jahlan out of my arms.
"Ouu are those cookies I smell nana?"I asked smelling the sweet treats.
"Yea,I'm making sugar and chocolate cookies"She replied bouncing Jahlan up and down on her lap.
"Where is grandaddy?"I asked sitting down on the couch next to her.
"Oh you know Robert is out there watering that grass and them flowers"She said shaking her head and I chuckled.
"Grandaddy sure do love them plants nana"I laughed out.
"Yes I know, sometimes I think he loves them more than he loves me."She joked.
"Oh Lynn Marie you know I love you more"My grandfather said walking in from the back door.
I absolutely adored their relationship, I hope one day I have what they have. Everytime my grandfather looks at my grandmother he looks at her like he has fallen in love with her all over again.
"Hey papa"I say getting up and giving him a hug.
"Hey Jay bug"He say kissing my forehead "How you been?"
"Good as always"I smiled up at him.
"That's good, I told you that you were going to be our bright little star and that's exactly what you are."He smiled at me. "Now where is my big man"He said walking over and taking Jahlan out of my granny arms.
"Let me go check on these cookies."My nana said getting up and walking into the kitchen.
"Hello?"I said into the phone.
"Is this Jayda Lynn Sikes?"A male voice asked me.
"Yes this is she."I said sitting down on the couch
"Hi this is Principal Barry,and well we are going to need you to come get Cameron."
"Why?What did he do?Is he alright?"I asked getting worried.
"He is being suspended for two weeks... He threatened to shoot up the school."He said.
"Who is that?"My grandmother asked being noisy from the kitchen.
"Okay thank you Principal Barry I'm on my way."I said hanging the phone up and getting off the couch.
"What did the principal want?"My grandfather asked.
"I have to go get Cam, he just threatened to shoot the school up."I answered him while pinching the bridge of my nose.
"Oh Lord, Robert you better go up to that school with her."My nana said taking Jahlan out of his arms.
"No it's fine papa"I say putting my hand up. "I got it."
"No I better come with you Jay...Look your only nineteen, and your dealing with a lot just let us help you"My grandad said getting off of the couch and grabbing his coat. "That's what we are here for."He smiled.
"Well let's go, we'll be back nana."I said walking out of the front door.
We both hopped in my car and sped off towards Cam's school.When we got there lots of memories start coming back about this school, I really didn't miss it because my high school days were filled with burden more than happiness. I got into at least five fights,and I was always getting picked on. Plus girls didn't like me over a boy that either liked me or I just didn't even know the nigga exsisted.
"C'mon papa"I say grabbing my purse and hopping out of the car.
We walked into the school and went into the front office where we saw Cam sitting down outside of the principal's office with his head down.
"I don't know if I should knock you out now or in the parking lot."I said hitting him upside the head.
"C'mon now Jay you cannot do this here."My papa said grabbing my arm.
"Miss.Sikes"Principal Barry says coming out of his office "Can I have a word with you two?"He asks looking in between both me and my papa.
We both nod our heads and follow him into his office. He sat down in his chair and he cuffed his hands together looking at the both of us.
"It has come to our attention that you are now is Cameron's legal guardian"He says looking at me and I nod my head.
"Yes, My parents gave up their parental rights and now I have Cam."I told him.
"I see that, um is Cameron around any gang violence at home?Like maybe you have a boyfriend or someone around him that is in a gang"He says eyeing me and I shook my head.
"Well.."I say shuffling in my seat "Cam is not around any kind of gang violence I have a 11 month old son at home as well,so I wouldn't dare have them around that."I say not even telling the whole truth.
Yes Cj was into the gang violence,but I still wouldn't rat him out to anybody plus it ain't my business to tell.. He's just doing what anybody else would do, is to make sure their family is fed properly so I saw no problem with it.
"Well do you have a stable job? Is Cam alone a lot? Do you even know if he's hanging around the right crowd when your away?"He asked badgering me with questions.
"Woah slow your role sir."My papa intervened "As you should know my granddaughter and grandson live in a very quiet neighborhood,there is no type of gang violence or none of that type of things going on around them; plus Cameron is a very respectful young boy."My papa said defending the both of us.
"Okay okay"Principal Barry says putting his hands up in surrender and chuckling a little "As the principal I need to ask these types of questions, sorry if I defended anybody but I ask those questions because of what Cameron said."
"Well what did he say?"I asked him.
"He told a group of boys' to shut the fuck up before he go and get them shootas' to air this bitch out."Principal Barry replied and my mouth gaped open.
"Oh my God...."I trailed off in disbelief. "Are you sure Cam said that? I've never heard him say anything like that before."
"Yes Miss.Sikes I am sure...One of our teachers heard him."He assured me.
"Well, thank you for this little meeting,but we better head out."My grandad said getting up.
"Well, nice to meet you sir,and nice to see you again Miss.Sikes."Principal Barry says getting up and shaking my papa's hand and giving me a hug.
"You too Principal Barry."I smiled and we both walked out of his office. "Bring yo' ass Cameron"I said through gritted teeth as we walked back to the front office.
He got up and we all walked out of the school and into the parking lot.As of right now my blood was boiling I didn't know what to do with him.
"Are you out of your damn mind?"I snap pulling out of the parking lot "The fuck was you thinking?"
"Jayda calm down."My papa say.
"No papa, he needs to learn that he can't just go around telling somebody that he will have somebody air the fucking school out."I snapped turning down a street.
"You don't even know why I said what I said"He said defensively
"Okay Cam please explain to me why the hell you said what you said,because I want to know."
"So a group of dudes came up to me and was all rowdy and was blaming me for Ky's death...and they were talking mad stuff about Cj."He said and I sighed deeply.
"Cam..."I trailed off "I get that you lost Ky hell we all did,but it's up to you to make the right choices and honor Ky's name in a different manner. Also your going to always hear people talking about Cj because he's going to always be the talk of the city. Cj can handle his own and you don't have to stick up for him."
"Your sister is right Cam Cam, you have to learn to not use that hot head of yours just focus on yourself and your basketball nothing else son."My papa said.
"Okay."Cam mumbled from the back.
"Sorry we ain't hear you, what did you say?"I said looking up at him in the mirror.
"Yes sir."He said louder.
"When we get to nana's house I want your phone,and your on lockdown until your suspension is up."
"But Jayda!"He whined.
"But Jayda nothing,you heard what the hell I said."I said cutting my eyes up at him.
He huffed loudly and sat back in his seat.
"Good Job"My papa mouthed over to me and I smiled to myself.
I actually felt good about myself because I'm always letting Cam slide with a lot of stuff,and I finally start putting my foot down. I guess as his legal guardian now I should just start acting more like a mom towards him and not let him run over me.
When we pulled up to my nana's house Cam handed me his phone before stomping all the way to the front door.
"Papa who's car is that?"I asked as he took his keys out to unlock the door.
"I have no idea Jay bug."He said opening the door. "But I guess we are about to find out."He said as we heard our nana yelling in the front room.
"Why show up now? Why fake your death!"She yelled at this very young looking couple.
"It can't be."My papa said looking at them in disbelief. "How?"He asked walking up to them.
"Hi daddy..."They lady said getting up out of her seat next to her husband.
"Marie Ann, I thought you were dead."My papa said embracing her in a big hug. "We thought we lost you two."He say swaying her back and forth.
"Nana who are they?"Cam asked and they all looked over at us.
The room grew silent and all you could hear was Jahlan making spit bubbles while chewing on his fingers.
Me and Cam looked at each other with a confused expression. "Y'all good or somethin'?"I asked taking Jahlan away from my nana.
"Um.. Jayda you two need to take a seat baby"My nana said gesturing towards the sofa.
We both walked over to the sofa and everybody else followed.
"This is them? Like really really them?"The lady asked my nana and she nodded.
"Okay can somebody tell us what in the hell is going on here."Cam said and everybody looked at him.
"Watch yo mouth"I said through gritted teeth and he sucked his teeth and sat back on the sofa.
"Well Jayda and Cam there is something you two need to know.."My nana said cuffing my hands with hers.
"What?"I asked impatiently waiting for her to tell us.
"These people here are your parents......"

"Okay I'm here, what y'all wanted to talk about?"I say as I sat at the small restaurant with my parents.
"Christopher we know this have been hard on you lately finding out about your father,but at least let him explain himself."My moms say gently putting her hands on top of mine.
"Fine.. Talk Raheem."I say snatching my hands away and sit back in my seat with my arms folded across my chest.
"First off I want to apologize for my disappearance"He says sincerely "But I'm here now and I want to make it up, I had no choice you all were in danger."
"What you mean we was in danger?"I asked furrowing my eyebrows.
"I had bad beef with this dude,and at the time he had my whole team against me and he threatened to have you toot and ya moms killed if I didn't leave the state. So I did what I had to do to keep y'all alive."
I sat there in my own thoughts, I get what he was coming from because I would do the same thing in a heartbeat.
"I guess I can't be mad at you for a long time but it's going to take time, at least you here in toot's life right now man. Because I don't need you forreal but toot does."I shrugged.
"That's cool."He say sitting back in his seat and sipping some of his drink.
"Thank God, I'm so happy you guys are getting your relationship back."My moms say smiling hard at the both of us.
I looked in between them and a smirk appeared on my face "You two about to working something out or somethin'?"
"Oh no! Hell no!"My mom say being all dramatic like she always is "Your father has a whole wife."She said waving her hand in the air.
"Wife?"I asked furrowing my eyebrows "You got a wife?"
He looked at my mom and took a big deep breathe "Yes I have a wife...and three kids"He say mumbling the last part but I caught on to it.
"Three kids? So you leave and make kids..."I say shaking my head "Typical."I scoffed.
"Uh uh Christopher don't start being difficult again. Look I've chewed him out enough about this, we just gotta deal with it."My moms says pointing her finger at me.
I just take a deep breathe because I know I got one more time to be disrespectful before she knocks my teeth out.
"Yea aight. I got to go"I say getting up and walking out of the restaurant.
I really didn't care about Raheem's kids, but I be damn if they think imma treat them with open hugs because I ain't no sap ass nigga unless it comes to Jayda.
"The fuck."I say to myself as Jayda declines another one of my calls.
I just tried to call her four times in a row and she declined all my calls, we were just on a good page so I don't get why she acting like this all over again. This damn girl can be so damn difficult sometimes.
"Wassup what you want?"I say to Tristan in the phone.
"Aye bruh you need to make your way to Havana's house...Some shit just went down."He said and I quickly made an illegal U-turn in the middle of the road and made my way towards Havana's house.
When I got there it was about three cop cars in the yard and Tristan and James are holding Jayda and Havana away from each other.
"I'm just trying to be there for you Havana!"Jayda shouts trying to get out of Tristan's strong grip on her.
"No fuck you Jayda! Fuck all of y'all! My baby would still be alive if it weren't for y'all being in my life!"Havana yells back and I just look around confused as hell.
"The hell is she talking about?"I ask Cam and he looks at me with bloodshot eyes.
"Uh..."He stutters out clearing his throat. "Austyn killed Abrianna and then he killed himself in front of Havana...When we got here Jayda was trying to comfort her,but it was like something snapped inside Havana and she just start acting crazy.She started hitting on Jayda and then soon it turned into a fist fight."
I just shook my head, Havana was hurting real hard and right now she doesn't even know how to react, I know the feeling.
I walked up to Tristan and Jayda and yanked her back.
"Let me go Cj!"She yelled trying to get out of my grip.
"Look you need to give her the space she needs then try to talk to her because right now she is not in her right mind. Plus these racist ass cops looks like they want to arrest all of our black asses, so stop showing ya' ass out in front of these white folks and get in yo car and let's go."I say in a serious tone.
She looked up at me and yanked away from my arm "Let's go Cam."She demands and stomps away to her car with Cam right behind her.
"Can all of y'all just get off of my damn property, I want to be alone please."Havana says pushing James off of her. "I said Please!"She yells louder grabbing all of the officers attention.
I signal for James to come on and just leave, since it is partially his fault in the first damn place, we all get in our cars and jet off leaving her house.
I knew something was off with Austyn;dude acted like he special or some shit,but I didn't think he would take it this far. I guess looks really can be deceiving.
