Ren reluctantly went to the bathroom and took his clothes off.

He sighed.

While he was having a headache trying to figure out his next move, Shin was spacing out.
He seemed to be thinking about something as well.

It wasn't long till Ren had finished his bath
Since his clothes weren't exactly at its best, he was only wearing a bathrobe.
Ren, "Master, it's your turn"
Shin, "You can just rest in the bed"
He smiled before going in.
Ren, 'Him? Smiling? At me???'
The room was silent for a while and only water from the shower could be heard

"Fuck yea! Time to escape!" Ren whispered
He felt better now so he planned to find Shirlette and make her his alibi.
Talking about what he doesn't really understand much himself could make things more complicated.
He reaches for the doorknob ready to escape

Nothing happened

No wonder Shin was so confident.
The guy made sure Ren couldn't try anything
Ren, "I really hate this guy"

Not long after, Shin came out with only a bathrobe on.
His hair was still wet, and some drops of water slid down his neck.
Shin, "Hope you didn't wait too long" ^^
Ren, "no, not at all master"
'bitch you left me with no choice!' he thought
Shin, "let me get straight to the point here"
Ren, "about what?"
He sighs seeing Ren play dumb
Shin, "I just want you to know that I'm thankful that you saved me, more than once now."
"But still. I can't avoid the fact that a lot of things you've done are suspicious" he added
Ren, "I know a thing or two I've done in the past don't exactlyvmake sense, but please understand that I don't intend to harm anyone."
Shin, "I know that. But do you care to explain why or how you did it?"
Ren was silent for a moment
Seeing that he was struggling, Shin added
"I'm not asking for much. I'm sure you hhave your reasons. I just want to make sure it doesn't affect my family"
'I wouldn't be able to live with myself if my family got hurt due to my carelessness' he thought
Now that Ren thought about it, the system never told him that he couldn't talk about the world he came from and that he wasn't Ren Civan.
But then again who would believe him?
He'd be labelled as a lunatic.
The system isn't here right now, he can't take the risk.
But he couldn't escape. It was obvious a lot of the stuff he did isn't something a mere servant can do. The other party would be a fool not to be suspicious.
Not long after, Ren gave his answer
"Master, I'm sorry. All I can say is that I want to save lives"
'more specifically, MY life'
Surprisingly, Shin didn't seem to be angry with the vague answer he gave.
But he was still curious about one thing"
"That spell you used earlier, it was very advanced. How were you able to use it when your mana capacity is lower than ours ?" Shin asked
Ren, "huh?...master don't you remember? We learned it in class"
Shin, "That spell was too advanced for people my age, let alone for servants. I don't think professors would allow evem nobles to try it considering the shape you were in after using it"
Ren was confused by his answer.
He was sure he learned it with Shin.
His memory felt a bit foggy
'This is getting nowhere' Shin thought
He sighed.
He looks at Ren
They were still both in bathrobes. They couldn't exactly wear their clothes again considering all the dirt and blood with it.
He grabbed some clothes from his bag and tossed some to Ren along with some healing potions.
Shin, "Use that for now. You don't have anything else to wear right?"
Ren snapped put of his daze and answered
"Thank you Master, I'll return it soon"
He replied too quickly to remember that he actually had some spare clothes in his bag. But Shin already gave him clothes and it would be a waste. So he said nothing.
'I'm sure we learned that spell though...' Ren thought
"We should go back soon, they must be worried" Shin said as he took off his bathrobe
Ren quickly turned away
It didn't look like Shin was going to go somewhere else
"I'll go change in the bathroom" Ren said quickly heading there

Not long after, they decided to head back and found a worried Shirlette running towards them
Shirlette, "Are you both okay??? Aria told me Glen went berserk when he fought you"
Shin smiled and assured her
"It's okay mother, we both escaped. There weren't any carriages left at the time so we decided to head to an inn"
'It's good that he didn't say anything.' Ren was relieved
Ren, "Yes, it seemed a hero was the one who defeated him"
After double checking to see if they got hurt, Shirlette sighed and told them to come in.
"There's been too much problems this past month... you boys have to be extra careful now"
Though she kept talking about how they should be more careful and not fight, the two didn't find it that annoying.
They were glad that someone cares enough to do it.
Shin's family, and the servants, and even Lero was worried.
"Ren, buddy! I'm so glad you're okay" he says while sniffling
Ren avoided the hug from Lero and just smiled awkwardly
'ah this guy. He's too sticky.' Ren thought
He could finally go to his room and rest.
Locking the door, he became silent staring at something
"......"

"You! Where the fuck have you been??? What kind of shitty system are you to even crash at an important event like this!"
He had to go through a lot today and his system went and ghosted him
But the system did nothing and repeated what it said

The system wasn't having any of it and just repeated its earlier statement.
Ren went to bed in defeat mumbling about how terrible his system was amd eventually fell asleep.

Meanwhile in an empty space where only a voice could be heard
"You bastard. We had a deal. This wasn't a part of it." A man spoke
no one responded
But the man could sense someone smirking at what he said.
He was pissed, but could do nothing else right now.

At the Kingdom of Cygnus, a commotion was happening at the palace.
"Have you heard? The princess is awake!" Servant A said
Servant B, "Really? Thank god... but I thought the doctors said the princess would be in a coma for the rest of her life"
Servant C, "It's been 3 years...."
"This is a miracle!" A man said in tears
He ran to a room where servants were sorrounding the area
He hurriedly opened the door and went to hold the hand of a girl that looked to be about 16 or 17
The girl was still lying down, a bit dazed. But her eyes were open.
"My daughter.... you're finally awake" he said continuing to cry
