Description: After a lot of rock music, many skateboarding accidents, and a considerable amount of arguing, Alex finds out there are things in the world worth living for. Skateboarding, as it turned out was not the only thing Alex and Jem bonded over.

My thoughts: This is definitely one of the cutest stories I've read. The characters are some of my favourites, and I loved seeing their relationship develop. It gave me some serious 2000s nostalgia, as it's set over the whole of 2007. It's a short story, but takes a little longer than other to read. But if you're looking for some fluff, happiness, and a SO much good music, then I would definitely give HCTS a read.
