Shen Yin’s colleagues cheered the moment Shen Yin said that. The entire police station rejoiced as if it was the new year.

After distributing the things that Lian Jing had sent, Shen Yin finally had the time to call him. However, no one picked up the call. She remembered him saying that he had a meeting, so she set aside the matter of reimbursing him.

“The parents of the deceased, Lu Feng, are divorced. The person who reported the case, Chen Ke, is not his biological father. After his biological mother, Lin Hui, divorced her ex-husband, she married her current husband and her son stayed with them. According to the couple, Lu Feng has always been a quiet child with good grades.”

After Meng Heng briefly explained the Lu Feng’s family situation, Zou Sheng immediately explained the problem between Lu Feng and his mother, Lin Hui, that he had learned from Liang Wei.

Wu Zheng nodded and continued, “During our visit, we also realized that Lin Hui and Chen Ke do not have a good relationship. However, they tried their best to hide this from Meng Heng and I. Little Meng guessed that whatever is going on between them might be related to Lu Feng’s death.”

Meng Heng nodded. “When Chen Ke went to the police station to report the case three months ago, he said that Lu Feng would come home every day.
