Shen Yin blinked her eyes in surprise when she suddenly obtained Lian Jing’s promise. She suddenly pulled out her hand that was crushed under his, held his face, and patted it happily. “Such a handsome man will be mine from now on?”

Lian Jing wanted to laugh at her silliness, but his heart filled with warmth. He nodded gently and agreed softly. Then, he lowered his head and bit her earlobe. “It’s my turn to punish you now.”

“What punishment?” Shen Yin immediately sensed that something was amiss. She tried to escape but he already had her in his arms.

Lian Jing narrowed his eyes, which were burning with desire. “Your punishment is that you have to bathe me.”

The party to celebrate Lian Meng’s return to the country was set for an evening on the weekend. Shen Nian hugged Shen Yin, reluctant to let her go. The little boy nestled in her mother’s arms softly and said coquettishly, “Mommy, Nian Nian wants to play too. Bring Nian Nian along!”

Lian Jing held his son’s hand and forcefully tore him away from Shen Yin’s arms. He said fiercely, “Minors are not allowed to enter the club. Stay home and do your homework obediently. I want to inspect it when I come back.”

Shen Nian snorted coldly and frowned. He frowned unhappily. “I can get full marks in the exam without doing any homework. It’s child’s play. Dad, you don’t even know my ability and you actually want to check if I’ve completed such simple homework!”

Lian Jing fastened his tie and looked down at him. He retorted mercilessly, “You have to finish it even if it’s simple. I don’t want the teacher to criticize you during the parent-teacher meeting for not completing your homework.”

“I take my homework seriously!” Shen Nian could not win an argument against Lian Jing, so he took advantage of his youth and started to act shamelessly. “Mom, look at Dad. He’s bullying Nian Nian. You don’t care about Nian Nian anymore!”

“Alright, stop fooling around.” Shen Yin gently stroked the top of his head and coaxed him softly. “Mommy will bring you to the amusement park tomorrow, okay? Your father is right. Children can’t go to entertainment venues. When you grow up, your father will bring you there.”

Without anyone to back him up, Shen Nian could only glare at Lian Jing hatefully before turning around and running out of the room.

Shen Yin looked at the child’s back helplessly and snickered. She looked up at Lian Jing, who looked dignified and domineering in a suit. She blushed slightly and said, “I’m ready. We can set off now.”

“Okay.” Lian Jing held her hand and went downstairs.

In the living room, Lian Meng, who was idly scrolling through her phone, heard the noise and instantly jumped up from the sofa. She saw that Shen Yin was wearing a dark green top paired with a pure black fishtail skirt that showed off her curvaceous figure. She was so surprised that she could not help but exclaim, “Sister-in-law, you’re so beautiful! My brother is so lucky!”

Like Lian Jing, Lian Meng was used to wearing suits. Today, she was also dressed in a white casual suit, and looked exquisite and capable.

Lian Jing seemed to unintentionally walked ahead and stood in front of Shen Yin. He looked expressionlessly at the infatuated Lian Meng. “It’s time to go.”

Lian Meng could not see her beautiful sister-in-law. She could only see her brother’s cold face. She snorted disdainfully and turned to walk out of the villa before her brother could pick a fight with her.

This gathering was held at Long Jiang Entertainment Clubhouse. It was also one of the places Lian Jing, Shang Sheng, and the others frequented.

In the dim private room, Shang Sheng looked at the girl sitting beside Sui Ran with disinterest. He could not help but complain, “Didn’t I ask you to bring Mo Ru along? Why didn’t you help me?”

Sui Ran looked at him in amusement. He leaned forward and poured a glass of wine. When he picked up the glass, his thumb ring gently brushed the edge of the glass, making a ringing sound. “You thought that Mo Ru was coming, so you didn’t bring a female companion today? You’re so pretentious.”

“And you’re not?!” Shang Sheng was agitated. He pointed at Sui Ran rudely, but his eyes were on the woman sitting beside him. She was dressed in a revealing red dress. “This guy didn’t bring you along the last time we met. Didn’t you say that he’s your boyfriend now? Aren’t you going to take him in hand?”

The woman was taken aback. She had not expected him to target her. She batted her eyes innocently and looked at him. “But we just got together yesterday. What happened in the past has nothing to do with me, right?”

When Sui Ran heard that, he handed the glass to his girlfriend and said with a half-smile, “Well, Shang Sheng? Why don’t you find a girlfriend too?”

Shang Sheng puffed up his cheeks and scolded with a frown, “Sui Ran, you b*stard! You’ve secretly gotten a girlfriend. Didn’t we agree to all have fun together?”

“Didn’t I come out to play with you?” Sui Ran spread his hands innocently. Suddenly, he thought of a naughty idea and decided to tease him. “Why don’t you give it a try with Lian Meng? Anyway, your families are not related, so that does not pose an issue.”

“No! Do you want Liang Jing to beat me to death?!” Shang Sheng ground his teeth and glared at him. “Hurry up and call Mo Ru over to play. I want her!”

“Is she that good?” Sui Ran nodded in agreement. “Alright, alright, I’ll call her for you now, alright?”
