It still wasn't too late, maybe Scott could save her?

He took her to the hospital, and constantly kissed her hand and forehead, hoping her to wake up and wipe his tears.

Meanwhile, Zachary was heart broken, when he heard the news and read that letter:

'Dear Zachary,

Do you remember the day we met? I was 3 and you were 4. The place? Sunshine park near Uncle Tommy's Ice cream shop. My ice cream had fell down and my mother didn't have money to buy a new one, so you gave all your ice cream to me, and didn't even keep half for yourself. Your selfless act made my day, and made you my best friend, and apparently, my first crush and love.

I can still remember that day in 4th Grade when some bully was hitting you, and how I had picked up my favourite shoe and beaten the shit out of them. God, you cried so much after hugging me. We were always there for each other, unlike now. I thought you would love me back. I waited, and waited but now, I don't have to.

I never knew you would fall for that shining popular group. I had warned you, Zach. I don't know what attracted you so much towards them. You did whatever they told you, I kept quiet because I didn't want to interfere in your life. They suddenly became more important than me, and then came a point where you didn't even hesitate to stake my chastity, my dignity.

Zach, I don't care. Still, somewhere deep down my heart, that innocent Zachary still lives, still owns me. This is the place I can't give to Scott, even if I try my best. I don't know if you would ever read this letter, but if you do, I want you to know that I am still in love with you, and I am ready to give up anything for you, best friend. And that's what I am doing right now, giving up my life, because you hate me.

Yours truly,

Valerie.  '

Seven drops of tears fell on the letter, and those tears belonged to Zachary.

He felt guilty.

If Valerie left the world, his life would loose its meaning.

And it would be all his fault. His selfish goals.

No, he needed to save her.

Zachary took out his bicycle, and rushed to LifeSave Hospital, where Valerie probably would be.
