Chapter 26 Do You Think Iâll Believe You
Ameliaâs face turned pale. She quickly raised her hand and covered where Kevin had kissed. âNo, we havenât done anything.â
âDo you think Iâll believe you?â
How he looked at her was like he was looking at a dead person, his gaze was so cold that it made her shiver.
Ameliaâs heart trembled, but she still forced herself to explain, âBelieve it or not, Iâve never slept with him.â
âAre you sure?â
James smiled coldly and stiffly. âIt will be clear after I check.â
He suddenly tore off her dress.
Frightened, Amelia covered her body with her arms.
Before she could ask what he was going to do, he made her thighs apart.
Her lower body was knocked away almost instantly, and his movements were fast and fierce.
She grabbed Jamesâs shoulder and cursed him for being a ba stard.
However, James didnât seem to notice it. His slender fingers kept searching for something.
âJames, are you crazy? Let go of me!â
Amelia grabbed his shoulders tightly with a face full of sha me and anger, her fingernails almost digging into his flesh, but he refused to let go.
Her face turned crimson, and she could only grit her teeth and turn her head. Seeing that Andrew hadnât gotten into the car yet, she finally felt a little bit of dignity regained.
However, as James became more and more fierce, Amelia felt ashamed and angry. âJames, what the he ll are you doing?â She was furious, but there was no expression on his cold face.
His urgent and fierce movements seemed to not be doing something sha meful but verifying something.
Amelia endured the pain and looked up at his expression. His face was livid, and his brows were furrowed with a hint of anger.
When he got angry, he looked like this. Amelia used to be very afraid of him when he looked like this, but now, she was having difficulty understanding himâ¦
âJames Evans!â
She called out to him, but he didnât respond. He continued to examine her body repeatedly.
Amelia reminded him, âDonât forget that you abandoned me. Since you donât want me anymore, donât touch me again!â
Her voice was as cold as a snow-capped mountain in winter, which made Jamesâs slender hand stop slightly.
When he lifted his gaze, the corners of his eyes were crimson, like sparks in flames, scorching and intense.
âYou wonât let me touch you just because you sold yourself to Kevin?â
His voice was pleasant to the ear, crisp, and magnetic.
However, the words he said were extremely harsh.
The word âsoldâ had belittled her dignity to the ground.
She once sold herself to him, but she thought that not taking a penny from him would change his impression of her.
But she didnât expect that in his eyes, she was still a pro stitute who could be bought and sold at will.
Ameliaâs heart ached as if thousand of needles had pricked it, but a smile appeared on her pale face.
âMr. Evans.â
She hooked her arms around his neck and smiled, âHe bought me, so I canât let you touch me. This is the rule you taught me. Have you forgotten?â
âWhat did you say?â James asked. His face gradually darkened.
Amelia raised her chin slightly, leaned close to his ear, and whispered, âActually, I lied to you just now. I already slept with Mr. Harris a long time ago. We did it three times last night and two times today. Now I am his woman, so please donât do anything stu pid, Mr. Evans.â
