Chapter 7: Chills [Wednesday x Male Reader]

Wednesday (One Shots and Imagines)Words: 8873

In the vast library of Nevermore Academy, there sat one lone raven haired girl on a late winters night. With heavy eyes and a heavier head, her reddened nose was buried in an old book.

The air was cold and the only sounds to be heard were that of the whistling winds and crisp turning of pages- not to mention the occasional sniffle.

While most students were already in bed, or perhaps some sneaking out for the night, Wednesday was engrossed. For some time, Wednesday Addams couldn't get Y/N off of her mind. She was infatuated with him and only recently, she discovered he was a vampire. One of the few species she knew very little about. Of course, she'd heard rumours- stabbing them with a wooden steak would kill them' they're allergic to garlic, they burn up under intense sunlight.

She had to know what is and isn't true about his kind. She was certainly curious. She had been researching for a good three hours and she showed little sign of being slowed down by the ever growing urge for rest or the increasing cold temperature in the library- despite her occasional shiver.

Just as she turned another curling page, she froze up. A weight had been dropped over her shoulders and the weight was warm and soft. "You really shouldn't be down here so late, you'll catch a cold." A voice spoke softly.

The chair opposite her was pulled out and Y/N came into view. His handsome features were enough to lure Wednesday out of her book. A hand moved to the book on top of her talk tower that she had ammased that day. "Vimpires and their Telltale Signs." He read aloud as he scanned over the cover of the book. "You're not planning on killing me are you?" He questioned, a teasing tone lifted his voice.

"You've not given me any reason yet." Wednesday replied coldly. "I have an assignment due tomorrow." She lied, lowering her head so she could read through the book once more.

Y/N smirked and hummed. "Really?" He murmured. He gently reached a hand over to the parchment she had in front of her. "Then you won't mind if I read this then?" He asked.

She knew the game he was playing- and she knew she had already lost. She gave a brief sigh and let him take her notes.

He scanned over her written notes and a grin came to his lips. "UV light does affect vampires but not as much as folklore originally said. Still, Y/N should make sure to regularly apply sun lotion to prevent burns and rashes." He read out loud. "Garlic is not actually harmful for vampires if it is overcooked or burnt, it would be okay for Y/N to eat it. Maybe I will cook him a meal." He continued, his smile still going strong. "Keep Y/N away from any and all fires, it is lethal. Y'know, Wednesday... I'm pretty sure that applies to all species." He joked. He read on and moved to the next note. "Do not get too attached to Y/N, he will outlive me anyway. All vampires are immortal." His smiled faded a little.

"Something wrong?" Wednesday asked coldly.

Y/N shook his head. "No." He answered quietly. "Do any of those books say that someone can be turned, should a love strong and true enough between a vampire and another creature be formed."

She paused, looking him dead in the eye. She usually had a good tell on people... but he was just impossible. She liked it. "I don't believe you. If that was true, one of these books would say so." She replied.

"Well, it is a rare occasion." He explained. "Those who trick vampires into false love in the believe that when they are bitten, they will turn... Quickly die. They don't live to tell the tale, which is why our little secret isn't in any of your books." He told her, swinging back on his chair. "However, those who are honest and truly loving will live- outlive everyone they have ever known. The only solace is that they share eternity with the one they love. Unless of course, someone like Wednesday Addams does their research and tries to find our weaknesses and sets us alight."

Wednesday's face was full of amusement. "Is it painful, turning?"

Y/N smiled. "Oh of course- the more painful, the purer the love."

She smiled back in response. She liked the sound of that. "What about aging... How does that work? Do you just age infinitely?" She asked, leaning forward in her chair.

Y/N shook his head. "No, we age until our heart stops beating. For most vampires that is in their twenties."

"What about you, has your heart stopped?"

"Not yet, but I know it is slowing down." He confirmed.

"Fascinating..." Wednesday murmured as she put her head down and put her pen to paper. 'Y/N's heart is slowing dying.' she wrote. Her head lifted up once more. "What about feeding? The books say you can't choose whether to feed or to turn someone."

Y/N smiles wide. "Yep. Although... It's not essential for us to feed on humans- although, it's said humans do have the sweetest, thickest blood of all creatures."

"You haven't tried it?" She asked.

He shook his head in response before checking the watch on his wrist. "Ah! Look at the time," he spoke up, standing to his feet. "I think I will be on my way. Keep the blanket, Addams. I don't want you to be ill." He told her.

She nodded in response and watched him leave the large library doors. Curious, was the word to best describe her feelings.

The next evening, Wednesday snook out once more, but this time she didn't go to the library. No, she went to Y/N's room. She told herself that the only reason she stood outside his room was because she needed to return his blanket. But deep in her stomach, she knew that wasn't the case.

She raised her fist to knock on the do- but before she made contact the door swung open. Instead, she lightly punched Y/N's chest.

"Evening, Wednesday." He greeted.

She nodded in response before handing him the blanket. "Here."

He took it and grinned. "Would you like to come in?"

Once more, like a robotic drone, she nodded. She stepped inside, her heavy boots surprisingly making little noise.

"Something else is on your mind. What is it?" He asked, his voice soft in the late night air.

Wednesday hesitated, looking up at him. "I do not know what you mean." She lied, turning away from him and observing his room. It appeared he lived alonem

He scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Please, I can read your face like a book." He replied, his grin moving to a confident smirk. "So what is it you need, Wednesday?"

Her mind raced. She knew what she wanted. She just couldn't find the words to tell him. She turned on her heels to face him again, only to find he had moved within a couple of inches of her. She took in his scent- something herbal and sweet. She got a chance to admire his towing statue over her, maybe standing over a foot taller than her.

He looked her in the eyes. "Mm... I know what you want.." he whispered, leaning down so that his face remained just a small movement away.

"Oh really, and what's that?" She retorted, her features ever stoic.

"This." He murmured before he gently brushed his lips against hers, teasing her. She seemed to move into the tip of her toes to catch a proper grasp of his lips but failed.

He eased a hand to her by her jaw where he kept her face still. "Patience, Wednesday." He told her, a smile playing at his lips.

Her cheeks darkened in colour as a chill ran down her spine. She'd never been treated like this- no one had ever taken control of her like he was. She liked it. His made her knees weak and her patience weaker. She couldn't stand it anymore. She needed to taste him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled herself up, her legs wrapping tight around his waist as she pressed her lips into his, her eyes coming to a close.

He didn't resist, kissing her back as his arms looped beneath her to help keep her up as her hands moved to the sides of his face, keeping his lips against her own.

They explored each other's mouths, tongues and teeth, Wednesday even got a feel for how sharp his fangs were. Her legs shook at the thought.

He carried her over to his bed where he lay on top her her, momentarily breaking the kiss.

"I want to to feed off me." She demanded. She looked up at him, her eyes seemingly showing how much she wanted it.

He nodded. "Are you... Sure?"

She grinned and nodded. Moving her head, she allowed him access to her neck.

He slowly buried his head into the crook she made for him. He let his fangs brush her cold skin before he finally sunk in.

Wednesday gasped and gripped onto the sheets beneath her as his fangs broke her skin. He had her stifling moans as he sucked the blood that began to seep through.

She was completely enamored by him. Her whole body tingled, her spine once again had chills pulsing down it.

After a moment, he pulled away. Blood lined his lips and teeth, unknown to him. He pecked her lips. "You taste amazing, Wednesday." He told her.

She licked her lips and grinned. She could get used to this.
