Wednesday held Y/N's phone in her small, pale, shaking hands. He'd gone to use the bathroom and left it behind- and unlocked on her bed where just a moment ago, they had been lay together. For a short while she contemplated whether or not to take advantage of his crucial misstep- debating if it would be a fatal betrayal of his trust or a harmless, curious action. She wished she'd never approached the situation.

Upon picking the device up, she found Instagram already open and on someone's page. Another woman's profile. Y/N had liked the image and as she scrolled, she found that he had liked countless other photographs and images of the same woman. She was pretty- there was no doubt about it. Her guilt grew in her stomach as her pale skin grew paler. Maybe she wouldn't have felt to insecure about it if the woman in the images had remotely looked like her but she didn't- the woman Y/N was looking at was a polar opposite of Wednesday. Pretty red hair that flowed like bloodied battle flags in the wind- deep green eyes like that of invaluable emeralds- skin tanned like exotic sands. She was certainly older that Wednesday was. Was this what Y/N wanted? Was he betraying her with this other woman? Her thoughts spiralled- her brain bogged like drains by her insecurities and jealousy- and a flood was coming.

The bathroom door creaked as Y/N walked through. He was looking down at his grey sweatshirt which was now considerably darker. "You really need to get that tap fixed, Wends'. I'm soaked." He complained as he pulled the wet fabric from his skin. His head lifted to see his phone in Wednesday's hands- and her face more green than white. "Is... everything alright?" He questioned as he released his fabric from his thumbs and forefingers.

The pale girl's bottom lip seemed to twitch as she breathed deeply before tuning the phone, revealing the woman he had been looking at. She wasn't sure if confrontation was what she wanted. A part of her wanted to tell him to just get out so she could think things through properly. "Who is this?" She asked- her voice was quiet but it carried in the quiet dorm room. Y/N could hear the uncertainty in her tone- it was far from that of the usual monotone expression she often held.

Y/N's cheeks grew a little red as he shook his head. His heart pounded. He could already see where this was going. "No one." He responded quickly whilst approaching her bed. He held his hand out for his phone, signalling he wanted it back before she could dig too deep.

Wednesday didn't believe him for one moment. She shook her head and refused to hand his phone back. "Not until you tell me who she is." She hissed coldly. Y/N hadn't heard her so serious since the time they first encountered one another- she was often quite warm with him.

"I told you already." He retorted back with a huff. Embarrassment took over his limbs as he attempted to reach out and snatch back what was rightfully his. Of course, she was too quick for him. "Wednesday, I'm serious- its no one you have to worry about. I swear." He pleaded further.

Either from jealousy or insecurity, she refused to listen to his pleads. She thew the blankets off of herself and got out of the bed. "I do not believe you." She spat coldly. "You have liked nearly all of her images- why would you do that if you didn't like her?" She pushed further as she pushed past him.

"Like her- who the hell said I liked her- or anyone other than you?" Y/N further defended himself. He wasn't being entirely truthful to his lover- he certainly did have a crush on the woman in the pictures- he'd had crush on her for a long as he could remember. Although, she was a celebrity.

"Well clearly you do like her- why else would you be gawking at her images?" She responded angrily through gritted teeth. She had a death grip on his phone- had she been a little stronger perhaps she would have crushed his phone in her hand there and then. If she didn't hate social media before- she certainly did now.

"Because-" He trailed off as he grew at a loss for words- unable to find a way to reply. He sighed and his shoulders dropped. "Fine- I do like her- did." He admitted, slumping down on her bed. "She's a celebrity- an actress. I had a crush on her when I was like ten." He explained, quietly. Clearly, he had been defeated- she always won.

"A celebrity?" She questioned, her head tilting. "So you do not know her?"

He shook his head and looked up at her. "No- of course not." He told her.

"And you are not cheating on me?" She continued interrogating him. Her insecurities were gradually shrinking inside.

"What- No!" He quickly answered. His brows furrowed with frustration. He was hurt that she thought so little of him. "I really like you, Wednesday."

"I swear- if you are not telling me the truth- I am going to rip your soul from your physical body and drag it to hell." She threatened sternly. Her grip loosened a little on his phone.

"Why the hell would I cheat on you? You're like- way out of my league as is." Y/N blurted as he held his hands up in a defensive manner.

Wednesday appeared to consider this for a moment. "Out of your league?"

"Yeah... y 'know- much better looking than I am. It should be you cheating on me rather than the other way around." He ranted as he huffed, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees.

"Don't be ridiculous, Y/N." Wednesday scolded. He was plenty handsome- or at least in her eyes he was. She could paint countless portraits of him and not one would ever capture his true beauty. "Why would I cheat on someone I am devoted to?"

"Me? Ridiculous?" He questioned, annoyed by her berating. "You're the one accusing me of cheating on you."

Wednesday scoffed and shook her head in disbelief- unable to understand why she was being so accusing. "Of course I am- you are mine and mine only." She spat throwing his phone at him, although careful not to do it so hard. "So I apologise for making sure it stays that way."

He was a little caught off guard- both by the flying phone and her tone. His phone hit him on the chest and fell into his lap. He was aware she was quite possessive over her belongings- but he'd never experienced her being so possessive over himself. His cheeks burned up. It was almost sweet seeing her so passionate about him. "I'm yours?" He questioned, struggling to hide the slight upwards turn in his lips.

Her form straightened as she regained some of her composure with a deep breath. "Yes." She answered with a single nod. "And if you're not careful I will etch my name into your forehead to make sure everyone knows that you are mine."

He laughed, if not at her remark, out of nervousness as the situation seemed to diffuse. "If that's what you need to do." He deadpanned with a small sigh.

"So is that the type of person you like? Tanned skin and light eyes?" She asked, somewhat tensely before she slumped down on her desk chair.

"Sure, maybe before I met you." Y/N answered. "But I guess I prefer short, problematic, monochrome women now." He half-joked, looking over at her. She seemed to look quite guilty- full of remorse and regret for acting so headstrong.

While she could feel his gaze hot on her person, her eyes only watched the wooden floor beneath her. jealousy really was an ugly emotion on her and she knew it- then again, most emotions didn't suit her. "I... I am sorry." She mumbled, almost reluctantly as she came to terms with the fact she was in the wrong. She sounded like a child who had just been given a telling off.

Y/N nodded his head and smiled sadly, even though she wasn't looking to see it. "It's okay..." He murmured back. It wasn't often that he could read her so easily, but he could see how dejected she was feeling. He couldn't deny, seeing her so emotional was something that made his heart flutter but he still felt sorry for her. "Come here." He spoke softly, opening his arms out to her.

Wednesday looked up to see his arms open to her and that was all the persuading she needed. She slowly stood up from her chair and shuffled her feet in his direction before she fell into his embrace. Like clockwork, her body craved his warmth and she wouldn't refuse her urges. She crawled further into him as he lay back, his legs still hanging off of the side of the bed. His arms wrapped tight around her waist as she curled into his frame. "I'd never cheat on you, remember that because I really mean it."

"Okay." She whispered with a nod. Her dark eyes fluttered to a close while her body relaxed. She trusted him. She believed him. "I'm going to marry you." She muttered.

He raised a brow. "Oh yeah?" He asked.

Wednesday hummed and nodded her head. "Sooner or later- then I really can say that you're mine."
